Main Applicant have an appointment next week, but dependant yet to get an appointment.

Thinking of paying IOM fee for myself and my dependants...then go for the test with my dependants even tho they don't have appointment yet.

Once you indicate that your dependants are coming with you whether now or later you must show proof of funds to cover for everyone. If you go ahead and apply with your POF alone because they are not coming immediately, you will be given visa o but when your dependants will apply later is when jungle will mature. Your dependant will be asked to print your statement from the time you apply to the time your dependant applied. This is the case and question someone just asked if you go some pages back. Once they discovered that your funds as the main applicant have depreciated, the dependant will be denied and the main applicant visa cancelled. It has happened to people on this forum so be warned. Let no agent deceive you. Perhaps some folks escaped this before but the home office guys are not smiling these days as they suspect folks are moving funds from one account to another all in the name of POF.

Please can you tell me where I can find this information.

Please Gurus in the house. I just read where someone said once you indicate your dependents are coming with you now or applying at a later date, you will have to show PoF to cover everyone.
1: I thought if they are applying with you same time is when you will show PoF that will cover everyone.
2: I also thought that if they are not applying at the same time with, you can show PoF for yourself only and when they want to apply, is when PoF for them will suffice.
Can someone please help clear the air because this information is confusing from what I use to think I understand.

I don't think this is entirely true. Please reconfirm the information. Which is that the PoF must cover for dependent even when they are not applying immediately with you.

most folks here have advised using just one account to avoid complicating matters, the truth is once the main applicant has indicated that the family is traveling with him or her whether immediately or not, there must be POF to cover the entire family and it's advisable that the funds be there till all visas for the family is out in case of random checking of the accounts which is what happened in that case. There is no need to gamble here, it's either the funds are available or not. Opening and Closing statement figures must be the required funds

This one I am hearing that the last day to submit PoF is 23 of November. I don't know how true the information is because I can't find such in the offer letter. I don't know how and where they saw it. The only thing I know is that the last day for the school to receive deposit is 30th November

Nope you can use the same statement for Visa application so long it has not pass 31 day since you printed it

The 31 days validity start counting from the day you printed the statement. So you can very much use it as long as it has not pass 31 days since you printed it

By your calculations, the TB test result would have expired by the time you get to the UK. So you need to do another one ASAP

I got admitted also. I know that 30th of November is the last day for tuition to have reach them. I dont know when the last day for PoF submition is though. But I will call the sch today.

Before you can get CAS, you must have paid your initial deposit of 2k and have your matured POF for 28days and done your pre-cas interview. And this takes a lot of time and processing

Even CBN rate is higher than that. Banks can not debit below CBN rate. Maybe he wanted to type 567

For anyone who might need this information. I called Bradford University yesterday to know why my spouse hasn't received offer letter.
They said latest by Friday, people will get offer letter or otherwise.


They said there will be 2k deposit and school fees is 17,500. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask whether it's a year course or two. Does anyone have idea on the duration of international business management in Bradford?

As I'm thinking that fee is too much for a year course considering our budget.

If you have enough fund, I will advice you pay for another university and ask for refund from ulster before they waste all your time. The refund may not come on time.

I got an offer from Ulster, paid deposit and awaiting CAS interview. I did the application myself but was assigned an agent for the rest of the process.

The agent said the university may refund my deposit because I had two previous UK visitors visa refusals.

I don't want someone who is not an ECO to determine my fate.

I have offers from two other universities. What is the implication if I make another deposit is any of those schools instead of waiting for Ulster to return my deposit when it would have been too late to apply through other unis this January?

In their school website, it's 5000 pounds as deposit. Nigerians are given the option of paying 1000 pounds or more.
