1) Go to TLS explain the situation and hear your options ( I think there’s an option for keep passport)

2) Send mail, explaining situation and requesting for your passport.

Are you applying for undergraduate program. Mostly undergraduate program application goes through UCAS. If you are applying for postgraduate program, apply to the sch direct.

When filling UCAS application there is a place for "Nationality details" and when you put Nigeria it will show you "Please tell us your date of first entry to UK" how would someone who is not in UK pass this as you must put a date?

You can email them, if they respond and send it to you fine. Otherwise, the passport with the Visa vignette will serve the purpose. If during the PRP application, they asked about the decision letter, tell them it was not sent to you. Save the email you sent to them, it will serve a purpose. But there is nothing to worry about in all.

I need your advice. I got My VISA last week but for some reason, they didn't include a decision letter (the one needed for BRP) when sending my passport. I only got the passport with the VISA vignette in it.

You can go for undergraduate studies, no problem. Apply and get admission. Every other process for visa application remains same as postgraduate visa application

You should not state that your dependents are traveling with you even when they are coming later. Just answer NO to the question, your visa would have been approved.

I applied alone on 24th August while my dependent were to do their Application much later. The reason was because my POF had matured but theirs was deposited later. My initial deposit was #12,000,008, then #8,987,000.

I will advice that you make it joint account or have the money transferred to your account. It will be better this way.

Let me help answer some of your questions and make clarification to the issues.
To this question ( How much should be minimum balance in statement of account?
Maintenance £9207
Tuition balance for 1st year £12 ,000
Total = £21,207).
What you wrote was totally correct, and you do not need to provide POF for subsequent years of studies. Even if your program is 4 years, you only provide one academic POF.
Again, as long as your maintenance fee is in the PoF, you don't need to prove any accomodation as your accommodation is already considered in the monthly maintenance cost.

As for your statement, you can print it today, and it will still be valid till next 31 days to application.
You can have your PoF in multiple statements as long as the accounts belongs to you. If part of the money is in your spouse account, it is supposed that the account should be joint account of you and your spouse.

To your number 4 question, mmmmm, it's a little bit technical but let me try to explain it.
You can not use same account you use for your application to apply for your wife's application since she is applying for student visa. I suggest you transfer the money to her account, to be on the safe side.

To your final question (q.5), You have to show sufficient PoF for each of the child. I don't think the kids being American citizens undermines you from showing their Pof.

School fees per year is £15,000
Maintenance for 9 months (1023*9)= £9207

Before visa application

Deposit before CAS = £3000 (remianing 12k which can be paid installementally)



How much should be minimum balance in statement of account?

Maintenance £9207
Tuition balance for 1st year £12 ,000

Total = £21,207

1-Is this value correct?
Or should the balance include the total fees for the 2 years programme?
Should it also include accommodation or is accommodation already considered in the monthly maintenance cost?

2-
If am to submit on 1 November from what date should the minimum balance have been in my account?
Is it 1st or 3rd September to say 30th September?
Also the statement can it be printed 1 day before submission or can be same day as submission?

3- Can one submit multiple accounts statements if part of the money is applicant and a major part from spouse.

4- After student applicant gets visa can the spouse same account used to support student applicant ...but printing out an updated statement?

5- For kids who are USA citizens and plan to apply same time as spouse must we show sufficient funds for them?

You can use the same pof statement as long as it hasn't exceed 31 days since printing, and as long as the fund will cover for the required amount which is your own total and the total for required of your dependent wife

This information is for those considering using form A to make tuition deposit.

I applied for tuition balance payment using form A through Gtbank. I got debited the next day.

Tuition Balance = £1100
Amount debited = N630,386.68

This is about N573 to £1.

All administrative charges and commission inclusive.

I am still looking for a way to pay for my accommodation using same form A. This is far much better, than using black market rates to make international payments.

First of all, some unis that have two campuses will ask you to choose the campus you wish to study when you are applying. I don't know about your case, but if you are allowed to choose during registration in UK, then you can choose London. There are lots of opportunities in London than other cities.

Yes she should go ahead. It's a minor the Eco will over look. Since all other documents bear the full name. As for the POF, please let her not do more than her self. It's 28 days.

If your course is one year, you are usually given about 16 months visa. So now the one year IHS is 470 pounds. Then for the additional 4 months, you are to pay additional 235 pounds Making it 705 pounds for one year course.

my course is a 1 year course without placement but, My total IHS surcharge is $1003 as against the £475 on the surcharge calculator.

What about English test. Do we have to write it. Is WAEC or NECO a substitute for it. I asked because I read from UKVI website about students visa 70 points rule

Except you are an exceptionally useful to them or that you have been to Canada and have applied for a job and given the job then you will have to come back to apply for the work visa, if you are in Canada on tourist visa. For graduate in Canada you can apply after graduation, in that case you don't have to come back Nigeria to apply from here. Again Canada does not have a path to citizenship if you are in the country illegally. So my brother find that person and collect your money cos its a scam.

I applied for a canadian work visa through an agent with a down payment of 1miliom after which I did my biometrics capturing at VFS lagos .on

The problem now is that two months is almost gone and no feedback from the embassy and am seriously starting to feel the heat , I don't know if I should get my money back and start up a wine bar or wait for an update from the agent.

Why I do people even believe in alert for God's sake. I don't. If you say you sent me money, I will just open my bank app and check. How can you just assumed that you have received the money just by alert. let him request for refund and book Ethiopian airline. They don't request for transit Visa. They fly to Ethiopia then to Nigeria.
