My interview is exactly two weeks away from today. Please I have a question, does beneficiary also need to produce documents like academic certificates? e.g SSCE/Degree certificate or it is just for the principal applicants?

Can somebody also give me the direction to US embassy (I want to drive myself down there). Thank you.

I did my medicals today at Children's practise.

Myself N24,000 and my wife 14,000 cos she's pregnant oo...but I met a friend there wit her daughter for canada medical and all she paid was just d consultation fee for herself and daughter.... I proceeded to Alagbon wit vex and paid 8000 for two of us even though d police asked for 10,000...... Dem give old man like Measles vaccine sha.... Myself and daughter are down wit fever.... Wife only had Tetanus shot.... Waiting and praying for a successful interview, not just for me but for everyone of us forumite in Jesus Name.....Amen

God will grant you favour in your interview in Jesus name. I am also preparing to go for my medicals, any particular reason why your daughter's medical fees is that high? Because I also have a 3 year old boy. Also, did they do X-ray for your pregnant wife? Because my wife is in the same condition. Then which of the hospitals did u use. I will be glad if you can explain all the stuffs to me.

If u re going to children practice 25 raymond njoku.from anywhere u re coming frm locate obalande then enter falamo bus, stop at raymond njoku locAte number 25 which is children practice pls go there early becos those staff there stop receivin after the number reach 50 and then u pay 12K for each for u and ur wife, u pay 7k for ur 3yr old then for vaccine u pay like 8,500 each for u and ur wife but ur baby it depend if ur baby receive pneumoccocal vaccine which is 18k then others makin almoSt 30kplus but if u exclude the pneumococcal vaccine it is cheap,make sure u go with ur baby immunization record.and then 2passport photograghy 2*2inches for each and then ur international passport with photocopy of the photo page.better still try to let ur baby collect pneumoccocal vaccine is free in all general hospital or health centre

Confirmed directly from KCC. Anyway, check later this night or tomorrow morning. This is expected, there was no 2NL for those who were current last month, they shifted their interview to June. I personally confirmed this.

If the hospitals have the advanced equipment for covering, no problem but if they don’t she will do her X-ray in the US. Yes the US accepts interview without it especially for pregnant women and breast feeding mothers. but you need the doctors report why the X-ray was not conducted.

monsieursam64: we are sailing on d same boat, let's zero our mind to d nxt bulletin. Hopefully, we will get our 2nl nxt month expecting our interview to be scheduled in june. PATIENCE REMAINS THE KEY!

. How can that be? The interview is for May ooo. There are no carry overs from the previous month, at least I didn't read of anyone in this forum who is supposed to be interviewed till April who has not been scheduled. Last month, I think they started receiving the 2nd NL from 25th, so hopefully there should be good news from today.

For those of us current for May what is happening concerning 2nd NL.

@ Bros adesoji, my interview is May. My contact person is in Massachusetts. I just want you to give me sincere opinion about how easy it is settle down in MA as a new immigrant considering job availability and cost of living together. So i will be able to make decision of either to go there or try another state.

Gentiger: This is Gentiger reporting live and direct from LOS ANGELES California. I arrived safely yesterday, 17:00 local time after about 20hrs flifgt and 6hrs layover at Istanbul.

It was a fun experience and i thank everyone who through prayers and goodwill messages made this happen. If you are coming through Los Angeles, i must prepare your mind on what to expect. I cant tell if it's the same thing everywhere else. On arrival, we were greeted by sniffing scoundrels. They had to ensure we were drugs free. We proceeded to the immigration post to have our documents and visa packets (sealed Envelope} processed. It took a while because we were about 6 of us. I issued them with a new address for the delivery of my green card. You can change the delivery address of your green card to anywhere of your choice within the US. It's not true, neither is it mandatory you must come in through the Port you specified in your form to KCC.

From the immigration post we were ushered to the customs for screening. They spent time processing us. Expect discriminatory treatment if you are an African male, Asian or Middle east. They will single you out for special attention. They did what must be done and formally welcomed us to America.

For those of you who already have your visas, hurry up and join us here. This country is a beautiful place. Nowhere in Nigeria can be compared to Los Angeles California. Those awaiting interview, i wish you success. You will surely testify. I will be back here to share my experience with gay people as a way of preparing your minds for what obtains here. If you ask me, I will vehemently plead with you to search for the money anyway to do the medicals rather than taken chances and you eventually becomes a reference point or case study. It may be possible as the guy said that they may attend to you but what if they dont. Remember this is a rare privilege that comes once in a lifetime. I want to encourage you that you summon faith, and believe all the resources you need shall be supplied. You are not alone in this there have been peoples' testimony of supernatural supply, I believe God that brought you this far will perfect everything.

Summarily, my advice is dont consider going without medicals as an option

@ Busayo, thanks a lot. I have been managing myself since from excitement to depression. I am okay now sha. I really thought my number will be current in this Bulletin. At this rate, I just have to relax because I cannot even predict next bulletin. I was going through previous years bulletin, and for October or November Bulletin or so, only 850 was added to the previous for Nigeria. So, if that repeats itself, I won't still be current in the next bulletin. It's best to say, let God's will be done!

I think what is happening is that we have most Nigeria winners having very low case numbers versus other countries in Africa, from what i discovered so far in this forum. It is only very few of us that have case number above 10,000. I guess the number will move very fast from December. We can take a sample poll here, by just dropping the first 2 digit of your case number for comparison. Mine is 16***

Gentiger: The good thing about NPC issued birth certificate is that it's NEVER TURNED DOWN. Be informed it's only acceptable after authentication by Ministry of Foreign Affairs. That's the new condition. Ask them at NPC office located at Babs Animashaun if you live in Lagos to have a seperate confirmation to this. I was as Abuja in May to authenticate mine. The US consulate is getting so strict on Nigerians cos of the high level of corruption in the country. Goodluck.

You only get a response from them if you mail them for confirmation of receipt after you send your forms. If you don't mail them they will not send you any mail until your case number is current. It is not compulsory you mail them but you can do that if you wish.
