porka: Don't be naive, the CNN you watch in Nigeria is not the same they see inside America.
For every Tribune, Punch, Daily Trust etc, there's also Radio Biafra and co.
The problem is the consumer of these news. They are not educated enough to know their left from their right. They don't know that their minds are the targets of falsehood designed as news.
The social media, as a leveler, is there to push your own agenda if you desire. Yoou are wrong! you didn't get the insight of my write up.. 1. I said CNN can never portray a region of their country in negative way, and at the same time portray other region good with their reportage. eg atlanta where they operate from can not be favoured over Newyork! they report America as a whole! while our own media segregate and discriminate.. 2. Radio biafra is only countering what punch, Sahara and the nation have been doing to the people. that is why Nnamdi shreds them into pieces and label them "Brown envelope, corrupt and incompetent junks. 3 The higher percentage of the consumer is gullible! they swallow everything they see online, and paper. it's very common to see people giving you reference from Internet, 80 percent of what I see on nigeria newspapers are lies and half truth! #nigeriamediafraudsters! are punch, Sahara, the nation etc! |

Honestly, I wanted to write a short article on nigeria journalism! it's very shameful and disturbing, I don't know why people do not see it that way too. I tell you, our journalism isn't nationalistic at all. we have regional tabloids. imagine CNN reporting only positive things from atlanta, and reports useless and gory news from new York! it can never happen, but our useless newspapers are guilty of this. you can never get any good news from, bayelsa, Benue and ebonyi on The nation and punch, except the news is a very Bad one! this is not journalism. Another angle is political view point, daily trust can not report any suspicious or rots going on in kano or Kaduna state governments, but they will be quick to report anything on akwaibom, delta, or rivers state, etc. our news men are evil themselves. have you seen any investigative journalism? nooo |

mrrights: 5 questions, Nigeria from the South must answer By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat
Since Nigeria’s return to democracy in 1999, the total of 4 presidents, had been elected to lead and stir the ship of the nation. 2 of these 4 presidents are from the south, while the other 2 are from the north. www.mrrights.com.ng
The two presidents from the south are former president Olusegun Obasanjo and immediate past president, Goodluck Jonathan. The two from the north are former president, late Umaru Musa Yaradua and the current president, Muhammadu Buhari.
It is important to note that, out of the 4 presidents elected to lead Nigeria, only two publicly declared their assets before the Nigerian people. The declaration was done to demonstrate their resolve to be transparent and subject themselves to public accountability. The two presidents are Umaru Musa Yaradua and President Muhammadu Buhari. Both of them are from the northern part of the country.
As responsible citizens, we must ask ourselves, why did the two presidents from north, publicly declared their assets for public scrutiny, and their southern counterpart did not? I will return to this point later.
Continue reading here..http://mrrights.com.ng/index.php/2015/09/12/5-questions-nigeria-from-the-south-must-answer-by-abdulrazaq-o-hamzat/ Typical of cow way of reasoning! Every public figure publishes his/ her assets. It only bothers on moral to make it public, meanwhile buhari has not declared his assets. All you low lives, are lagging behind in every indices. And you have the shameless boldness to write rubbish! Declaration of assets is useless, but crosschecking it before and after office by the Agency is the most important thing... believe me. Buhari under declared his assets |

carnegiefan: On the "how" of the skilled manpower to accomplish this, I shall simply say that Biafra CURRENTLY boasts some of the best in Africa, if not the very best. Just last week I met a Biafran guy -an engineer who works in the oilfields of one of the gulf states. The man said that there are many engineers of Biafran descent like himself working in many of such countries. Our technocrats are scattered all over the world. Our medical doctors are all over the world. Overnight, the Biafran workforce can rival that of many developed countries.
So, this is very achievable.
Someone earlier in this thread wondered where the initial money will come from. Well, no need elaborating more on that! We need to put these things in visuals or 3D videos so that people will communicate. |

I can't imagine my hand typing rubbish about ijaw,Ogoni ibibio etc what will I gain doing that? it simply stupid to me. they dress like us, cook the same kind of food. yorubas call them igbo, hausa call them igbo because, to them we have the same features. adenine02: Columnist JJ. Omojuwa recently tweeted series of sarcastic tweets apparently directed at unrepentant critics of PMB's achievements in 100 days at the helm of the Nation Nigeria. @Omojuwa tweeted:
*If you miss your hero, cut off your power supply and use your generator. It will remind you of his days without stress.
*If you miss your hero, insist on your company buying diesel when you have light. Leave the light but keep the generator on.
*If you miss your hero, go and build him a statue in the middle of the 2nd Niger Bridge he commissioned.
*If you really really & truly miss your hero, buy plenty yam, buy plenty goats, put them in a room & reinstate your corrupt government
*If you don't do all that, you are liars. You don't miss your hero.
*And if my tweets piss you off, go and report me to Marilyn Ogar. Shebi she is your Mighty Igor.
*If you get to the fuel station, insist on waiting for 3 hours even when there's no queue. Tell them, "na so we do am under Jonathan"
*Of course, you'd be betraying your love for your hero if you pay N87/litre. Buy fuel for the > N100 he left it. Love is in showing it! This guy's is a functional idiot!! elookoo: This Biafra agitators have no shame, typical of an Ibo man, you welcome them with open arms in your home, they get comfy, succeed and start disparaging their host calling you all sort of names and even start telling you your land is no mans land. when seun started Nairaland, he welcomed everyone with open arms, Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba, tiv, ijaw, itsekiri, Edo, Fulani, kanuri idoma, nupe, ...... All Nigerians.
I dared all Biafra e warriors to go set up their own "Biafraland" and leave Nairaland alone but they couldn't because they know deep within them that BIAFRA IS A FRAUD AND NNAMDI KANU IS USING BIAFRA TO DEFRAUD GULLIBLE IBOS
I call on all Nigerians on Nairaland and we are in the majority to boycott all Biafra related threads. Don't view, don't comment, don't like or dislike , just ignore and in cases where they put up a deceptive Subject to lure you into their Biafra threads, just leave the thread or #MOVEYOURBIAFRAAGITATIONSOUTOFNAIRALAND. Typical yoruba tribal bigot! what's your business with biafra? are you agitated? I have said it before and I will say it again, yorubas are the worst human on earth ... They have this inherent fetishism in them.. they still belong to 19th century, even as a christian and at worst muslim, especially Alfa and Cele peeps.. Their juju movies are the most pirated movie in the country, yet they will carry placards.. if you are anywhere in slum be it ibadan, Iyana ipaja makoko, sango, ibadan, abeokuta, snap their movie and upload it... and snap nollywood movie and upload it too.. you will understand! why I said.. yorubas pull themselves down! they don't helps their people! these people are very wicked! they hate themselves so much! they abuse themselves, course their children to no end.. Tell me one good thing that has ever come out from yoruba.. All they do is lips service, like what they are doing to kunle afolayan, watch how they will betray that bastard orobo tribalist! scumbag! . bunch of lazy fools.. they will employ their brother, and at the same time use him as slaves, if you're a woman they will be sleeping with you, even though you have married.. They curse you and remind you that you were nobody before they brought you to lagos.. they are also snitches, they can never respect you if you're not from their tribe. Most of their graduates working on Coat With tie on, receive as low as 5000 a month in so called lagos, but in awka ordinary security jobs is at least 30k, hotel at least 15k, all the noise about companies are all useless! all these companies pay as low as 7k! per month. if you doubt me I will publish the names and location... I pity your generation. we used to give them fifty naira any day they block the road of our street and start their owoda campaign. Could you believe one useless igboman wanted to grade our road, since 2011 they refused him, because they claimed that government will do it, up till now nothing has been done.. it was actually because, the igbo man told them contribute money to assist him.. , they all ran away, the same thing happened on transformer... awon oloshi oloriburuku Omo ita, Omo ale oponu! useless peeps hanging inside over worn traditional attires used in previous owambe ceremony.... if you follow your yoruba friends to their house and room, you will never collect anything from them again.. They come online to berate igbos, yet their people feel happy if you mistakenly call them igbo,, or Omo jo yiibo... rubbish I know yoruba like my palms, I don't like writing about them, but they always give me reason to do so.. let me also tell you vultures, that an average igbo man only get to know yoruba as their opposition later in life, because we used to know that north /Hausas are our opposition and yoruba neutral, but their intrusion into hausafulani -igbo fiasco make igbos to see them as who they are.. we do not care about you!!! An average igbo man in igboland doesn't know yoruba! they only know hausa and islam! !! stop forcing your picture into our case there has never been igbo vs yoruba! we never had we will not have, but if you continue we will abandon hausafulani and face you vultures squarely, and I tell you, hausafulani can never come to your rescue!! stay on your lane!! leave igbo alone...... |
