Local government elections are always a sham in Nigeria. The entire results always undemocratically sways the way of the party at the helms at the state level. We have often seen that countless times here in Benue too. The state electoral bodies are always willing tools to be used in the hands of the governors. They end up having selections and not elections. Even God should be tired of our case by now. I used to so respect Umahi but time has actually proven that wrong. He is nt really different.
