I no even trust that Amrabat will solve the problem.

Firstly, the team structure is defective. Secondly, Amrabat himself is not really blessed with pace from the little I have seen. Pace is what has been killing us in that midfield. If Casemiro does not somehow regain his form he will do to Amrabat what Eriksen is currently doing to him (Casemiro).

It's down to ETH to prioritize defensive cover for now. He has to ask them to sit at the base as DMs and free up the fullbacks to join the attack.

Mount is not what we need rather Amrabat, is someone who will help out Case and occasionally free him to go forward and attack.

We still can't press effectively...We tried pressing and each time, Bayern will play through our press...I don't know if our players take delight in watching the opponent play like there's nothing to play for.

Also, it seems our players are always in a hurry to release the ball...There are instances where our defenders will boot the ball even when we have the numerical advantage. You'd see 3 defenders unable to keep the ball when one forward player of the opponent charges at them...It is a big concern...

One thing that won’t shock me is if ETH starts the same eleven that played Brighton, including GhosTominay. That match was one of his most exquisite ghosting performances. You would have noticed that almost nobody had anything good or bad to say about him in that game, unlike Rashford, Bruno, Dalot, Case, Hannibal, Onana etc. That is the hallmark of a perfect ghost.

We all know Liverpool were seriously plagued by injuries last season hence their poor performance but we all saw them push for a top 4 finish when their players began recovering from injuries. Their good start to the season is further proof that last season was just a one-off...

Mourinho won 3 trophies during his time here but we all knew his style of play was not going to guarantee results in the long run. I'd like to look past the Caraboa cup win last season and see if we are making progress as a team...Have we managed to close the gap between us and the likes of Arsenal, City or Liverpool? I think not.

You are right. We should be playing better. Let’s see how the season goes in terms of quality and style of football, especially when Højlund, Mount, Amrabat, Mainoo are fully integrated into the first team.

A more serious concern is our transfer activity. Someone competent needs to come in and oversee that. There is evidence from his Ajax days that if ETH is given the right tools he can coach attractive attacking football. There is no evidence that he knows how to get those tools. Someone needs to save him from himself and take that full responsibility away from him.

We can’t sign Pep because he won’t come here. Look at the clean and smart way he has planned his career. He goes to well run organisations with a very good structure in place.

We also have to remember that the good football Assanal is playing now took a couple of seasons to implement. There are serious reasons to criticise ETH but I honestly don’t think changing manager yet again will lead to any long term benefits.

Anybody who doubts the importance of a proper management structure should look at the sexy football Potter coached at Brighton and how utterly useless he looked at Chelshit.

I am not advocating for a change just yet and I agree that a proper management structure is the way forward however, with the resources at ETH's disposal, I think we should be playing much better...Let's see some improvements at least and then we can hope for the best.
