If your girlfriend posts pictures of her bloody nose and all that and accuses you of assaulting her, should the world just accept it without calling for a proper investigation? I guess you'd say no.
Now, if in the course of the investigation, she chickens out, does that make you guilty? It doesn't...She could as well be scared of the backlash that will follow if the investigation proves she is only trying to get at you.
Look at it from all perspectives and stop being myopic...Whatever happened remains buried as long as she dropped the charges or opted out of the whole process...Stop crying more than the supposed bereaved... |

The western world is now a liberal haven with a value set that encompasses the treatment of all human beings with dignity. The western society has no place for hate except for those who wish to habor hatred towards others simply because of what and who they are.
If you don't like it, you sign out, some watching their football, stop watching their movies, stop listening to their songs, just sign out but if you are going to continue to align with any part of their system, then you must be ready to embrace their value system, a system which is open and acceptable to all.
You all can drench in your rapist-loving sympathetic shithole of a society where tribalism, corruption, religious prejudice and violence continue to define the shithole we call a society here. You guys only rail against injustice when it affects you but you will gladly support another injustice, shame on you guys!
This is the end for Mason greenwood! A rapist and a wife beater. You can moan all you want but mason will NEVER play in the best leagues again! He will relegated to the history bins of trash for being a rapist! You all rapist sympathizers can choke on that! Please shut up and stop posting trash here... Do you think everything starts and ends with writing epistles? You just jump into any and every argument even when you have little or no clue what's the bone of contention. Your comments here show you have not read and digested the statement the club released. The club claimed their internal investigation exonerates Greenwood of any crimes meaning he was not found guilty. They even hinted that the supposed evidence that was leaked to the public was doctored yet you keep on going about rape and assault. You are trying way too hard to be seen as woke. MRTA7: ETH needs to be saved from himself. His talent identification is not good enough. Coaches will always come and go so, I am not a fan of a club letting the coach make big calls especially as it has to do with in-comings. We went from a Moyes who prefers traditional English long balls to Van Gaal who is a possession freak to Mourinho was rather defends and hits on the counter to Ole who is straight-up clueless to Ragnick the supposed father of ghen ghen pressing to ETH who favours quick transition. This sequence has seen us buy players to suit each manager to the detriment of the club because after 3-4 years, the manager is gone and we are back to square one. This is one area where I think as we club we can improve on. Let those in charge decide what kind of football we want to play as a club and hire managers who are renowned for such a pattern of play. If they hire Conte after ETH I won't be surprised sha. Here, I fault the board. |

ChristoBam: Number one, there's no value for money in this market. No one's taking risks with unknown players this summer apart from Chelsea that's buying hundreds of them.
We're backing out of multiple top deals because we don't have the funds for them and these players are going to the opposition teams.
They might be backing Ten Hag up to their full strength. But there's little he can do with all of that. How much did Liverpool pay for Mac Allister? How did Chelsea pay for Jackson? |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 4:31pm On Aug 15, 2023 |
ChristoBam: No, I'm not absolving the manager of blames. I've gone through the last 5 pages on this thread, and Ten Hag is getting 100% of the blames. Even the one that mentioned Glaziers was shut down. We're just going through the same route we've gone through again and again post Ferguson.
Tbh, last 2 years, the Glaziers have not been terrible. Not sure they've taken any money out of the club last 2 years. They've been investing everything 'the football club' has the ability to.
But the problem is, we need owners that'll invest their own funds into the club. If we don't get this, we won't be able to compete. We'll just play catch up in a good season, and then fall off the next. Newcastle were someway off our position in league before the Saudis bought the club. In the timeframe, since they bought Newcastle, have they outspent us? (I don't have the facts) but I'll be surprised if they have. We had the better squad before the Saudis bought the club and I am not sure they have significantly outspent us since January 2022 but on the footballing side, they have been growing from strength to strength... The Newcastle example should tell you it has more to do with the guys on the pitch and the manager. Aston Villa is another example. |

ChristoBam: Let's not start twisting facts. Degea hoofs rubbish. He'll tell you this himself. I have seen Halaand score goals off balls you'd tag 'rubbish pass' if Rashford was in his position. How many long passes from Onana were controlled by our forwards yesterday? It's less about De Gea but the lack of effort from forwards. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 4:03pm On Aug 15, 2023 |
ChristoBam: This summer window under Qatar, we'd have gotten Kane, Rice/Caicedo, Onana, A cheap CM and KMJ. We're having to settle for some of these signings because of the limited budget. It's still on the Glaziers. Like it or not. It's just much easier to blame the manager.
Some don dey talk nonsense about Ten Hag now. How many more managers are we going to hire before y'all start pointing fingers at those cunts. I don't understand what you mean by limited budget. Our spending is approaching £200m and are still in the market to sign a CB (Depending on the Maguire situation) and a midfielder or possibly two which will take our spending to over £250m - 300m. This for me is the board backing the manager. Ten Hag has to look away from his former players, there is value for money in the market. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 3:59pm On Aug 15, 2023 |
We are just about the only team that spends money without seeing results. The Glazers are not the best owners we know but cut them some slack.
The manager requested Onana when he could have managed Henderson or Kovar or any of the other young goalies in the squad and used the money to sign a proper CM.
The same manager signed Mount who is not a CM or anything like Erikson who was pivotal for the way we played last season. Seeing how important Eriksen was to our set-up, one would have expected Ten Hag to go after a player in his mould but he opted for Mount.
Hojlund is out injured and no one knows how serious it is due to conflicting reports.
In summary bar Onana who is exceptional at what he does (even though his effect will largely not be felt no thanks to other pressing problems unresolved), Mount looked out of sorts. We have thus far only managed to solve a part of a big problem, the least of the many problems we have. |

larride: It's the same thing I said last season.
You can play long ball from the current players we have upfront who have no zeal to contest aerial balls. As good as Onana is with his passing, how many long balls did we win when he launch it forward?
The overall play today was bad (even though I'm happy with the 3point). The way Wolves players kept running riot in our midfield leaves bitter taste in my mouth. Imagine we have a team like City or Liverpool today, we will probably chop 5. Even Newcastle go chop us like Suya.
Hopefully we see marked improvement in the next game. If ETH do not get at least 2 CM before the transfer window closes, he wont finish this season and I'll be there no matter what. I have said a lot of times that the balls we claim De Gea hoofs are not bad but our useless forwards will make you think otherwise. In no time, someone will come here to say Onana just hoofs the ball causing us to lose possession when the reality is that our forwards just don't care... |

Leyqute: We were poor overall today. Our midfield didn't create many chances so it's hard to say our forwards didn't finish well. We didn't have a single clear chance at goal. We had several chances come our way whenever we pressed them high up the pitch but our forwards almost always picked the wrong pass or missed. |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by patrickmuf(m): 11:22pm On Aug 14, 2023 |
Any player that serves us rubbish should be rightly criticized regardless of who he is or his age. The same for the manager but our criticism here should be fair and not agenda driven.
One of the reasons why I was against fixing the goal keeping department when we had more pressings challenges is because I figured De Gea was only a small part of the problem. We have signed a good ball playing keeper but we won't reap the advantages he offer us because we have way too many players who are uncomfortable receiving the ball under pressure. You don't even need to be very strong but know how to properly guide the football so you can attract fowls when opponents try too hard to get the ball off you.
In the first half, they were instances where Onana had to delay on the ball to allow our players get for from the marker because he doesn't trust them to give them the ball under pressure. The moments he went long, we lost possession not because his pass was erratic by our forwards just can not win headers or simply do not care to try. One too many times I saw our players mosjudging the flight of the ball...
We need a CM who can get on the ball and dictate the tempo of the game as well as a CB...Greenwood should be reinstated because Rashford is just very annoying as a CF. I wouldn't even mind if Martial is back in the team against Spurs because we were terrible with Rashford as our CF... |

Expert17: DeGea would have conceded a goal with this kind of pressure. So, what's your point? We got outplayed and you're on about agenda. The clean sheet today had little to do with the exceptional goalkeeping of Onana but the poor finishing of the opponent forward players. Onana to his credit did well but after the poor overall performance of the team, we should all be concerned and not be more on about pushing agendas. |

MRTA7: For me, they're the closest challenger to City.
Maybe it's the trauma of collecting 7.goals at Anfield but that their attack is title winning. Now they've solidified their midfield. They're the only team who knows what winning the premier league is, apart from City. I think they still need to sign a CB and a RB if Klopp persists with the idea of playing Trent as a midfielder. |
