I don't understand this whole Greenwood situation.

This talk of loaning him to Getafe, does it mean he is still under contract here? If yes, why then did the club say he will never play for the team again?

I thought it was an outright cancellation of his contract.

Guys, does anyone here have further details of what is the situation with Mason and Manchester United?

Honestly, this is quite different. He did not include Sancho in the team, and then lied to the media that Sancho is not fit enough. That’s so unfair.

I think he made reference to Sancho's lack of effort in training and that is it. Sancho has not done enough for me to even give him a chance in this whole thing.

Preseason counts for nothing. Sancho should do well to take his chances.

I ask again, who was Maguire marking for the goal? He was busy raising his hands in protest instead of throwing himself between the ball and the goalpost. It is funny that Evans managed to battle his way from that Arsenal player and almost blocked the shot yet Maguire stood there doing nothing.

Sancho like Martial should both be options only when we have an injury crisis.

As a false 9 or striker, Martial for all his lazy attitude is still better than Sancho.

I look at Martial during games and begin to ask myself what exactly went wrong with him...He seems disinterested like Sancho and doesn't do enough...

Tbh, the reason I'm going on and on about the Cucurella deal is I actually rate the guy. All that talent that we saw at Brighton that had Pep and Chelsea fighting over him couldn't have disappeared in just one season. I was hoping to see what Ten Hag would be able to do with him.

As for Reguilon, I won't say much cuz he's our player for now so at least he deserves a chance.

Cucurella was who ETH wanted. Alonso and Reguilon were emergency backups. We left the Cucurella deal because we could get Reguilon till January unlike Cucurella that we had to keep till next summer.

My point is at the end we left the deal because of money not abilities.

Reguilon is a bum that's been given chan e after chance at Tottenham and has not shown any sign of promise. We'll say it's only for 3 months but you know how many games we play in the 3 months? Cucurella is who we should have negotiated till the end and gotten.

Mount was not the right signing.
We needed a proper and experienced Striker or even 2 so we could also shift Martial but we overpaid for a 20 year old to come and keep him company in the hospital.
Reguilon loan is whatever.. Dont rate him at all. He hasnt shown anything at Spurs and the fact they were ready to let him go on loan says a lot.
Amrabat - Could be a good signing but only God knows why we didnt have this wrapped up since the start of the window. Well I do know.

We didnt do well enough with our sales.

So 6/10 is fair.

Outgoings have to be a 3/10. We should have moved Martial, Maguire, McTom and even Dalot out. We should learn to terminate contracts. Juventus are masters of it.


As for the incoming, Hojlund will do well in the long run. It's just a shame that he came in injured.

Mount is one I can't explain, only ETH can.

Reguillon has a lot of potential. ETH should be able to help him. With Wan-Bissaka who is defensively-minded on one side, we could do with a flying left wingback.

Amrabat is good but I fear that ETH was not keen on his signing thus he might attempt to force the midfield 3 of Casemiro - Mount - Bruno to work. I hope that's not the case.

Onana is a good buy except that I don't think that position was our most pressing concern when we went in for him. Left for me, I'd have kept De Gea and Henderson for one more season to fight for the number-one spot and use the money to sign a CB or a forward who can beat his man.

7/10, is about ok. Depending on the Performance of Hojlund sha. If Regullon is decent. We can use Shaw as a cover at LCB, seeing that Varane is now a Hospital regular now, Even for me he is our best CB.

Reguillon might just come in and cement that LB spot. I am quietly optimistic.

For me, it is a 7/10 because we still have Maguire here and the signing of Mount doesn't really improve the team.

Which Welbeck? Ferguson is the only quality forward they have. Buonanotte is a RWF like March.
