I have many Igbos as friends on Facebook who reside in Lagos and in the run up to the elections, I had reason to ask them why they support GRV but they had little or no tangible reason rather they kept on attacking Tinubu and the APC...if you go on Twitter, it's even worse.

Some folks even had to call out the Igbos in one Facebook group I belong to for not highlighting what was happening in Enugu and Abia as they'd do if it was Lagos...

GRV had ethnic coloration around his campaigns and social media history...

You keep mixing this things up...The Igbos in Lagos didn't support GRV because his proposal for developing Lagos was any better or realistic, some of them didn't even read his manifesto and were not interested but rather the goal was to go against the APC and Tinubu, their number one enemy...After the Presidential elections, Igbos in Lagos began making very provocative statements and that alone riled up a lot of Yorubas and saw many who were sympathetic to the Labor Party have a rethink...

If Larride or you or anyone goes abroad and begin to sound arrogant about your exploits and try using your numbers to tilt their local elections your way, they'll revolt and it might be worse...

He still has time but he shouldn't waste it. I expect him to survey the landscape and make his move either this summer or the next. He also needs to improve himself in order to work best for the team. If he wants to be a LWF going forward he needs to improve his defensive work rate and if he wants to be a CF he needs to improve his back to goal game and general link up play. That is the next level of progression for him.

Even as a CF, he has to improve his work rate. Yesterday Messi was strolling as per Messi and he too was strolling when he should be closing down opponents as the younger superstar...He also needs to improve his ability to play in tight spaces...Bayern were able to neutralize his threat by limiting the space around him.

Rashford as a CF was a bad move as he'd have had TAA for dinner but for whatever reason, he was rather used as CF meaning TAA had nothing to do defensively...
