Tuchel is limiting the players at Chelsea and his choices in the market is absurd. The 3 - 4 - 3 formation only works when your 2 midfielders have very high work rate which is not the case at Chelsea.

Paying over £70m for Fofana is criminal. Chelsea should set up in a 4-3-3 formation. Chalobah can pair with CSO flanked by Cucu and James. In midfield, play Jorginho (That Fofana money should have been used to sign his replacement), Kante/Kovacic and Mount/Kovacic/Gallagher. In attack, play Sterling/Pulisic/Mount on the left, Broja/Kai through the middle and Ziyech/Sterling on the Right of attack.

Also, I don't understand why Chukwuemeka and Casadei were bought if they won't be trusted because Loftus- Cheek is simply not good enough to start for Chelsea. The problem is Tuchel but as a rival fan, I won't lie, I want him to remain as Chelsea coach so that we fit start to call Chelsea 'dead Chelsea'...

If any of you had dropped the amount it could have made for a good argument. If the release clause is £300m or thereabout then it is worth it however if it is less than £100m it just doesn't make sense...I for one believe that £51m is too good to be true especially when you consider that Dortmund could have gotten more last season and it's not like they won titles or challenge for titles after keeping him...I think Ajax looked at the figures and decided to do business because they might not get so much in the future...

I still don't get why illimi.table and Christob.am are arguing when they're both right. Antony is overpriced and is a Brazilian who is most likely going to have his head turned should Barca or Madrid come calling in the near future so, there's no guarantees there but the good thing is that we didn't include a buyout clause (at least no one has reported of any buyout clause) in the deal unlike what Haaland has in his deal. I think City were desperate to land Haaland so ahead of other top teams so they accepted that a buyout clause be inserted into the deal which can be triggered once met in a couple of seasons.

Will Haaland ask Madrid to insert a buyout clause or will Madrid accept to include one justso they can sign him, I think not...The buyout clause makes it easier for him to leave but it still depends on what the price is and City's ability to compete for top trophies.

The only time we stood a chanceto sign Haaland was when he left for Dortmund as at now, the only way Haaland would have signed for Man Utd is if we decided to make him the highest earning footballer in the world because that's the only thing he can look back on and smile after we struggle each match day. When we start winning and competing for big trophies, we won't have to overpay players...
