No other Governor does it better than a Calabar Governor H.E Donald Duke proved this.

Duke did a while lot for the urban areas while Liyel focused on opening up the rural areas whilst not entirely neglecting the urban areas but Ayade, a supposed Professor came in and scattered everything...His industrialization drive has not yielded no fruits and might likely not yield.

Cross River has wasted 8 years with two Professors at the helm of affairs...It's a shame.

So a scout brings a list of CBs at that point with equal or better qualities at that point. We'll go for Maguire. If Maguire wasn't available and it was Kiloubaly that was in that list, they'll go for him.

Only Ayade could afford it, the same Ayade that Liyel had earlier told to return to the Senate...

Liyel relocated temporarily to Abuja and began the power play and at the end, the ward congress was canceled for a rescheduled one that handed back the leadership structure of the party to Liyel...

Consequence for the action of those who dared Liyel? Ndoma Egba lost his bid to return to the Senate even when he was the incumbent leader of the Senate...

We shouldn't forget that with the likes of Pogba, Lingard, Matic, Mata, Bailly, and Cavani leaving as well as the possibility of AWB, Telles/Shaw, Martial, Ronaldo? and Rashford leaving, we will be saving alot from their weekly wages thus the possibility signing 6 - 7 players isn't farfetched...

Hopefully Garner, Tuanzebe, Amad, Laird and Williams will serve as good options from the bench...

Williams and Laird should be ready as back up at least. Dalot and Telles will most likely remain.
we need a good team playing pattern. if roles are defined, some players can look better than they actually are.

I agree completely with your last sentence however, I don't think Telles is suited for the physicality and pace of the EPL...I am willing to give Dalot another try with Laird as backup...

United must get rid of AWB, Telles, Shaw, Bailly, Maguire at all cost. Get solid replacement for Matic, Mata and Pogba.

We can do with Academy Graduates to cover for RB and LB. Laird can compete with Dalot. Fernandez and Williams can compete for LB.

Pau Torres seems a target, hopefully he's not gonna flop. €20m + Bailly should be a fair deal to get Pau Torres.

Why is it that the new persons coming into the club are specifically demanding total control? Rangnick did it, ETH too has done it.

The way the club has been set up, the players are simply more powerful than the coach, and they have the media solidly behind them. It’s just not easy. If you bin them for younger players, they find a way to get you kicked out. If you play them, they can’t keep up with instructions. Then you have the faces in top management, the ones we don’t see.

Even Ronaldo had similar issues when he joined and was making demands from them on the pitch. Have you noticed that he doesn’t complain like before anymore? Man has realized that things are simply not as it used to be when he left.

Talking about control over incomings and outgoings, I think Rangnick and LVG as well as some ex players must have spoken to Ten Hag because ordinarily, ETH has not gotten to the level where he can force the club to stick to his terms or bounce...
