Because politics globally follows a pattern, I will give you an example in American politics, In 2016 Biden was Obamas Vice for 8yrs and could have run for the Democratic ticket but the "Emi lokan" of Democratic party Hillary Clinton was also interested, So Biden had to look away from that process since he was planning to use the same Democrat Centrist structure that was loyal to the Clintons

In 2020 Biden came out and was able to use the same Centrist structure when Hillary was no longer on the ticket

Think about this for a minute. You're 100 people in a class. Only 15 people out of that 100 voted for the class Rep. 85 did not vote.

Now out of the 100 classmates, 45 people were the only ones who registered to vote for the class Rep.

Again 45 people registered to vote, out of 45 people, 15 voted.

Now you have a situation where 20 more people have registered to vote to take the total of registered voters to 65 people. And the 20 new people that are voting are overwhelmingly for one candidate.

Is that number not high enough to overshadow the initial 15 people that voted previously??

Despite the northerners coming out in bulk for all previous elections, the voting turnout remained at 15% of the entire population.

I can tell you that that number is set to double.
The average northerner has always been politically conscious because it's been their only strength in Nigeria. They've always understood the importance in numbers, while the southerners were apathetic to voting and simply didn't care.

This is different! Eastern states have always been highly apathetic, with just 10% voting turnout. You will be shocked when you start seeing states like Anambra bringing out 1.5 million votes, Owerri, 1.4 million votes etc with turnout at 75%.

The South is awakening from their political slumber. Go to any INEC office today and see the teeming crowd desperate to get their PVC.

To be blind to this is just plain ignorance.

Lastly, Obi doesn't have to win the north, he just has to undercut their numbers considerably and perform very well in the south, of which he is on course to do and he will cement the youth revolution.

In the North, NNPP, APC and PDP will split the votes. Tinubu has Kano, Katsina, Sokoto, Borno, Kebbi, Jigawa and Kaduna in the bag although NNPP and PDP won't do badly in the aforementioned states.

Do we actually need to spend on another winger? We've got Amad and Pellestri coming back from successful loan spells. Both can comfortably play on the right wing, skillful and full of potentials.

We've also got Garmacho from Academy. A promising Lad.

For Midfield, Garner's spell with NF is nothing but a huge Success. If we can get De Jong as well, that should be enough, coz Perreira also is coming back - who knows he might perform well under ETH.

Striking position ain't bad either, Martial will be back, Rashford is still available, CR7 ain't go nowhere.

My concern is getting a solid CB, 2 LBs and 1 RB. Shaw and Telles should be sold. They are done as United players. AWB should be sold as well. For CB, Bailly, Jones and hopefully Maguire need to be sold.

We should rather spend much on Defence than Midfield and Attack, except ETH has access to Arab Oil Money.
