I think Tinubu did some accounting jobs for some drug barons without (he might know but feigns ignorance) knowing the source of the money and got paid for it...When the authorities saw how much he had in his account compared to his earnings, it raised suspicion...

I think the authorities accepted that Tinubu may not have been in the know on the source of the money and Tinubu on his part choose to let go of some money in order to move ahead...This is what it seems like else there's no way the authorities will let a black man off the hook for any drug related offense...

A man who didn't seek further personal aggrandizement. A man who didn't go to retire in senate for free money like others do.


I enjoin you all to join this movement that serves as a once in a lifetime opportunity to take our country back from poor leadership and send the ruling class a message that we can't continue to accept failure, we can't continue to accept money politics.

It's time for accountable politics.

I think at this point one needs to agree that Obi's presidency won't do much compared to others. Yeah there's the corrupt and sick Tinubu on the ballot and the corrupt Atiku that sold as many national assets for knockdown prices to his friends under the privitization scheme as VP.

But then Obi being surrounded by people like Doyin Okupe and Co will certainly find it difficult to fight the corruption institution we have in Naija. Obi may have the reputation for not having any corruption charges against him in the past nor have any major scandal that hovers around misappropriation of public funds, but having people of questionable character campaign for him ( and most likely end up with a place in his government) will certainly affect his government. The fact that he's not going to import people from another country to run the show but make use of EX-PDP members (who may pay lip service to his desire for new Nigeria, but deep down they want to have access to keep eating our yam) just weak person.

I have said it time without number that if Obi wins, the same old politicians that have heldback the country will decamp from the APC and PDP to the LP and will become major players in his government...I have this feeling that for Nigeria to head towards a new path, the president will have to be somewhat autocratic...

They should have realized by now that they are mere borrowed and dispensable platform in this arrangement.

If their candidate wins the next election, they should already have an idea of how they will be emasculated.

If their candidate loses, the current visitors will leave and the party deserted.

That's Ugep and not where I am currently however, I made exceptions, if you know Cross River well apart from Calabar you'll know Akamkpa, Ugep, Ikom and Ogoja are not villages but big towns...The only reason why LP is not making waves in Ogoja which itself is one of the oldest province in Nigeria is because of Sen. Jarigbe of the PDP...His performance means no other party stands a chance in Ogoja LGA.

The good thing about the LP is the road map especially marked out by the groups.

I'm sure you've heard of the super volunteers who are aggressive in their rural penetration in selling the party to the locals.

This movement started when... 4 months ago and we've done more than any body expected and the truth is we are going harder because we are getting more volunteers.


Example this is a place in Cross rivers.. Maybe you missed it tho.. And you should expect more

Ugep is my village...It's not classed as a rural area but this is impressive though...

One thing I know for sure is that I learn from previous events...I am in Cross River State, not even Calabar but Ogoja so, I know what I am talking about when it comes to appeal away from mainstream media and the big cities...

Over here, it’s a fight between PDP and APC and it's the same for every other part of the State except for places where you have a good number of Igbos and Calabar...

The chances of LP doing well depends on the performance of their Senatorial candidate in the Southerner Senatorial district Rt. Hon Daniel Aauquo who is a two term House of Member under the PDP, with his popularity in the South I expect it to translate to votes for PO since the elections will be held on the same day...One thing is certain, the electorates (Some, not all especially those in the rural areas) are not educated enough to vote different parties for different positions in an election conducted on the same day...

In the rural areas, they only know PDP and APC and truth be told no matter the number of rallies held in bug cities, once there's little or no penetration into the rural areas, expect those folks over there to go on with the status quo where before leaving their houses they already know it's PDP or APC they're voting...

I look forward to the time when Nigerians (Particular reference to those in the rural areas) will vote for Party A for Presidential elections, Party B for Senatorial, Party D for Reps, Party C for Governorship and so on based on the competency of the aspirants flying the flags of each party...
