ChristineC: Pogba has been tried occasionally as a 10 before Bruno arrived, don't forget, he was just there. the only formation Pogba has assurance is a 4-4-2 diamond or 4-2-3-1 off the left and one of the DM. perhaps Ole trust will trust one DM and play double AMs soon. I am looking at the quality of forwards we have...Ronaldo, Greenwood, Cavani and Rashford make a lot of runs and are quite mobile meaning Bruno will not be needed very close to the opponent box rather a player who can spot a pass and execute it from midfield and that's where Pogba comes in. I just can't see Pogba and Bruno playing together with either of McFred as we will be left exposed in that DM position that's why I rather have McFred against top teams. Against weaker teams, Pogba and Bruno with McTom or Fred at the base should do... In the meantime, it will be interesting to see how Bruno adjust to the presence of Ronaldo in the team. |

One thing is certain, when all out players are fit, we'd have a lot of options on the bench...In the long run and with Ronaldo, I feel Ole will have to decide which of Pogba or Bruno starts just the same way he will have a decision to make between AWB and Dalot.
If Ronaldo is the point man which I expect him to be, then we might need Pogba ahead of Bruno and Dalot ahead of AWB that means McFred must start. |

Havertz10: All this fanfare over an old man, i'm not an ageist but nobody is really bothered about Ronaldo
Ronaldo is 37, it's poetic that it's in the premier league, that he scored the least amount of goals in his career that he wants to come and play his no pace football, they will retire him quick
Ronaldo will be underwhelming at united, the excitement among united fans is a good case study of why unread people shouldn't have voting rights
Have you sat down to look at the coach, team dynamics and plotted a path that will lead to full utilization of a Ronaldo with no pace in a fast paced league, you don't have a holding midfielder, errors everywhere too many to mention
He wouldn't score more than 20 league goals and 8 will be penalties Still, he'll outscore Havertz... |

TheLequte: It’s not impossible to win without that kinda player(s), it’s just way harder to do than if you have them , especially when your competitors have them in their squad.
List the top 5 EPL teams and tell me how many of them don’t have a player who is comfortable at bringing the ball out from the back or providing cover for the back 4. Ole simply doesn't think we need a DM. How much did Hojbjerg or Ndidi cost Tottenham and Leicester City respectively? I guess not more than we paid to sign VDB. If Ole wanted a DM, we would have gotten one... It's one thing for us to be asking for a DM but it's another thing for the Ole to see the need for one and it's his decision that counts. |

Didn’t you see Fred eating grass on Sunday after being so easily bypassed endlessly by opponents?

Tuchel is managing Rudiger...Remember when we used to troll Rudiger by saying he wears timberland shoes? What has changed? In fact, what new addition did Tuchel add to that Chelsea defense that was leaking goals? Tuchel has found a system that hides their deficiencies in defense. Ole should work out something for our midfield, let him earn his pay. |

He’s the king of blindness and wrong decisions.
We just want a good DM so that the next capable coach won’t suffer needlessly. Imagine Tuchel inheriting Bakayoko in midfield instead of Kante. Tuchel inherited a finished Rudiger, underperforming Havertz, an aging Azpi, old man Tiago Silva. As much as I want us to sign a DM, I feel this squad can still challenge for titles. Na Ole dey make us crave for DM because a competent coach will set us up to mask the deficiencies we have in the midfield... |

Ole's choice was Grealish but Aston Villa priced him out.. They Glazer's won't sanction the deal.. So they compensated us with DvD. If you notice, he doesn't really fit into Ole's pattern of footy. He loves risk takers like Bruno, Pogba et al. So here's where Bellingham comes in.. Remember, Ole wanted to sign before he chose Dortmund same with Haaland. Bookmark this page..
