But they will do better or same than Pogba in that position.

As a player pogba is better but as an AM grealish edges him and foden isn't even far or even level sef.

When Gundogan plays as an AM, does he play exactly like KDB or offer the same threat like KDB? It must not be like for like replacement, in the absence of Bruno, Ole has to find a way to get us going and we have the players with the requisite quality to get going...

1. Pogba
2. Foden
3. Grealish

Grealish is a fine player but he hangs onto the ball too much. Pogba sometimes over does things but if he sees the movement, he will make the pass and 6 (if not higher) out of 10 times, it's inch perfect...

Foden's first instinct is to create space to score or make the run to score. He isn't very creative so, I'd rather deploy him as an inverted wing forward

Barcelona from 1974 to 1990 did not win a single LA Liga, despite making second position more than five times. They went on to win four straight seasons after that. Real Madrid has its own fair share of periods of hiatus. Ac Milan is also going though its own period. This is normal in football, and it is more difficult now that competition is improving as a result of fund availability. Gone are the days players will troop to one club simply because of club profile and popularity.

Nobody is saying we must win everything...A trophy or two in between is not a crime...

1. Lindelof isn’t even fit to be United material for his preferred position (RCB) but you think there won’t be a significant drop in quality if he replaces Maguire at LCB. O wrong nao.

2. Dalot is a freaking liability defensively. The drop in quality defensively between him and AWB in is like from 85 to 40. He edges AWB offensively but it’s just a little bit. We’ve seen him play. We know his weaknesses. Same with AWB.

3. Pogba cannot deputize for Bruno at AM without that major drop in quality, mostly because of his speed. I mean, Pogba is a top quality player but fast play and making quick decisions in tight spaces- the requirements for an AM- is not his forte. It was here we kept buying players to “unlock” Pogba. We didn’t know it was Pogba that needed to unlock someone else.

Sancho is the only one I think can play that AM like Bruno and we won’t see a major drop in quality. And he’s yet to do that. So fingers crossed on that.

1. As a backup, Lindelof is more than capable...He has played on that side before and can hold his own especially when partnered with Varane...

2. Dalot might be a liability but so is Mendy and Zichenko on City's left side. No one team has a perfect 11 and bench...

3. Pogba doesn't need to play like Bruno to function in that role. You guys are forgetting that it takes quality players around you for most of your play to count. For instance, if Pogba had given that pass he gave to Greenwood against Leeds to James instead, chances that it won't end up in the back of the net is high...See how Tuchel has managed to mask the deficiencies in Jorginho's game by having more men behind the ball...That's what is expected of Ole. In the absence of Bruno, it isn't compelling that we must play an out and out AM, a 4-3-3 with a sitting DM and two CMs is an option...

If we rate Grealish high on the back of what he did last season then Sancho for his numbers in the Buli and performances in the UCL deserves to be rated even higher...Early days but I am certain Sancho and Rashford will outscore Grealish and Pogba will have more assist...We sometimes underestimate the quality in our ranks...

Even with the analysis of Thelequte, it is quite clear that man Utd have a larger squad with man city edging it out in superior quality replacement in midfield.

In his analysis, he gave Grealish a 10 in AM and LWF but he gave Pogba an 8 in AM...What has Grealish done as an AM that Pogba hasn't done and even bested? That's why I said his analysis is flawed...

Someone said somewhere that I am including Varane to win an argument. What kind of football do they play in England that is different from what a player with 4 UCL, 1 world cup has not faced before? The same guys were praying that Pep shouldn't sign Messi as if Messi has played in England before going by their logic...If City had signed Varane and Sancho, I aam certain they'd have said they're the best addition to any team...
