I am not expecting Mou to win the league with Spurs but I expect them to be more positive in their play.

Mourinho is a great coach, his method has brought him so much success but ATM, football has evolved...Now, the best form of defence is attack rather than defend as was the case a while back...

I have seen Spurs go on the defensive against Leicester, Everton and the likes only to start attacking when they go a goal or two down and everytime I find myself asking why they didn't start the game on the attack.

Son, Kane and Berghwin/Moura is as good a front 3 as any other trio in the league. Mou should attack more...

He is not the first Top manager that went through bad period, Van Gaal, Arsene Wenger, Ancelloti, etc

I think it’s a personnel thing. The AM role will be easier for VDB if he has a younger Mata to play with - someone who will make (and complete) difficult passes and then move to receive the return pass. The two of them can create chances together.

At the same time, a huge chunk of VdB’s problems will be solved if he doesn’t shy away so much from the ball.

It’s a two-way street. The coach has to find a way to get the best out of the player AND the player also has to do his best to fit in and perform.

It doesn’t make sense to change your whole system for just one player if it will affect other players and won’t immediately guarantee wins.

If I recall, after the West Ham game, I suggested Ole should build a system that fits VDB so that when ever he plays instead of Bruno, the team knows its playing a different system...

Ole favors 4 2 3 1 with the AMF predominantly Bruno. If VDB must step in for Bruno, Ole should find a system tailor-made for VDB that's if he can't adapt his game to suit fit perfectly in that Bruno role...

Just to clarify so that someone won't think I am asking for the head of Ole when I said the coaching staff should work with VDB to improve his play. From what we all have said of him, I think if VDB just takes his time more on the ball and make runs towards to ball to better influence the play, he will be better...I think he can adjust his game and hopefully, the coaches will help him...

I won't advise a young player to join Chelsea because they rather prefer ready made top players...

Madrid has the pull that no other team has. Madrid can go trohyless for 7 years yet top players will still queue up to join Madrid...

Ask yourself, do we have the same pull in the transfer market? If we go after the same players 9 times out of 10, the player will choose Madrid even if we have been more successful in the period we squared up...

Like I always say, Ole will not be judged with how bad Mou perforns with Spurs but how he (Ole) performs with Manchester United in comparison to the period where Mou held sway at Old Trafford...

Ole has to win something bigger or same trophies Mou won with us to ever be rated ahead of Mou as long as Manchester United is concerned...

This is coming from someone who isn't a fan of Mou but the truth has got to be laid bare...
