Yes, Martial is trying his best....he had a great contribution last season.

But we can't win the league with Martial as our no 1 Striker.

Do we even look like we are capable of winning the league? We are still struggling to qualify for top 4 regularly and you're talking of winning the league. You think if Cavani was in the peak of his powers, he would have joined us? Maybe if we pay him outrageous wages. Everything is sequential, we have to get the basics right before world beaters would start angling for a move to Old Trafford...

Even if we win against Bayern, Ole should get out of Manchester United...I can't be deceived into thinking he is the right man for the job...

I agree Southampton are one of the best team in the league at the moment, form-wise. They play with a high intensity and their efforts usually get results.

However, you CANNOT judge United by the same yardstick. There is less pressure on Soton and their coach to make top 4, there is huuuuge pressure on Ole and the players and they are expected to win every match.

If Soton lose 3 games consecutively there won’t be a crisis, if Ole does so, fans will riot.

Im not saying Soton’s coach will flop if he comes to United, I’m saying that you cannot be very sure he will kick off because the level of expectation at Soton is waaay different from the level of expectation at United.

E en Bayern were beaten by Hoeffenheim...The fact is that Sutton play one of the best football in the EPL. They press as a unit, pace the ball accurately and at a very good pace...Their only downside is their defense which is down to the quality of players they have...I reckon their coach he'll do even better with quality players whilst Ole will most likely relegate Sutton.

That is why i said Amaka was a poor tactician and trainer. He might actually be decent as a tactician but his training methods ad implementation of those tactics must be really poor.

We struggle in these 4 things that are squarely on the coach
1) Pace of Play
2) Pressing as a unit
3) Spacing of players
4) Movement (especially off the ball).

Without 1,2,4 you can't have effective triangular movement of the ball and will struggle to create chances against low blocks.

For the second goal, whilst the scorer was on his bike to get to a scoring position, Burger King AKA Luke Shaw was jogging...Maybe they should put fire in the boots of our players so they speed up the play in hope that 90mins comes and they can take off their boots because I don't understand why they just jog on the pitch when they should be running...

Personally i will sack him now and leave the other coaches to continue coaching WITH THE CAVEAT that it is made clear privately and publicly that they are interim (hopefully for a few weeks) until a new manager is appointed.

I am saying this cos i am sure Woodward has not been doing his work to properly identify the right manager beforehand. He will start running all over the place only after sacking Ole. The ideal thing to do is have the right man ready and then appoint him immediately Ole is sacked.

You only need 1 mistake to concede goals.

Rashford was silent yesterday. Him and your Martial kept trying 1-2s that had no end game. Your guy himself was hardly in the box. He was always expecting the ball to his feet so that he can dribble. No runs whatsoever.

Matic himself misplaced many easy forward passes. And the crosses, they hardly made any. And when they did it was not good enough. Shaw was completely clueless. I don’t know why that guy is still at the club.

Ole himself has no idea what he was doing. He’s incompetent, incapable and foolishly smug. His tactics was pass the ball to Maguire/Matic and insha allah.

VDB surprisingly excelled in the midfield role. It wasn’t a perfect night for him but he didn’t put a foot wrong too often.

The spirit with which Rafael da Silva ONLY played with was more than that of our whole squad altogether. Demba Ba’s legs are gone but he still troubled Maguire and Tuanzebe.



If you watched the match yesterday and didn’t see all these mehn, guy. I don’t know if I trust you enough to discuss it objectively.

A lot of what you have highlighted I correctly captured it in my post after the match...A dysfunctional system...

Those misplaced passes is a function of a system that isn't working. Often time, I saw Matic with the ball or VDB in the middle but the passing options was not just there, Bruno forgot he is supposed to be the link between midfield and attack and went to join the attack...

The movement of our players is dead...I am holding the coach accountable because we can't possibly replace all the players but we can replace the coach.

Is playing with urgency rocket science?
Is pressing as a unit so difficult?
Is passing and making runs to receive a pass so difficult?
Does it require that we change our entire 11?

All of the above questions have been answered by Brighton...I deliberately didn't want to reference Bayern, Manchester City or Liverpool so that no one will say they have superior players. You watch Brighton and you begin to ask questions of what we do in training...

These are not funny statements. It seems you people don't want to learn from history. Our recent history tells us that the board has found it difficult to identify and appoint a coach that will bring lasting success.

We were all here when Moyes was sacked after 1 season only for his successor LVG to be sacked after 2 seasons. The man that followed was JM who was sacked after just over 2 seasons and his successor will soon be sacked.

If it was so automatic to appoint a good coach Woodward and the Glazers would have gotten it right in one of their 4 tries. Identifying and sacking a bad coach is extremely easy, identifying and appointing a great coach is another cup of tea.

Let them sack Ole first then we can start this conversation...The one thing we agree on is that Ole has to go, let is happen...

Our build up play is so slow you'd forgiven for thinking we start every game 3 goals up.

When I suggested that we invest in our defense, Spillo1 said we have a very good defense pointing to our defensive record last season whilst forgetting that we practically park the bus most time and play on the counter. The few times we try to attack, we concede goals, laughable ones at that. Last season, it was Palace, Villa, Sutton and the likes. This season, it has continued with Palace, Basakir, Spurs...Against Brighton, we were lucky as they just couldn't finish us off after carving us open time after time.

Go and watch Liverpool vs Atalanta and see how their forwards were scoring goals after being put clean through on goal. That's not luck, it takes practice to make it happen. A lot of folks say Martial is trash and doesn't have the movement required of a top 9 but we saw Cavani yesterday with all the movement yet he didn't get a sniff at goal. Ours is a dysfunctional unit...

Spillo1, I see you are here, do you honestly think Sancho would have made a difference yesterday?

Ole is out of his depth...No pattern to our play...We don't look like we have a game plan coming into any match.
