Well, Lemar is just one of many forward players in the French squad. The crux of the matter here is whether or not Rashford starts for France and I think the resounding answer is; No!!!

Please go back and read the comments of those guys here who are acting like everything is fine during the games against Sutton and West Ham and you'd see their true position. Even they are not happy but you know we just have to pick sides and argue for the sake of it...

No body expects the team to win every game but it is becoming a reoccurring decimal that we falter whenever there's a high pressure match and it calls for serious concerns.

Against Sutton, we had the chance to leapfrog both Chelsea and Leicester but we shared the spoils.

Against West Ham, we had the opportunity to win and go into the last game with a 3pts lead over Leicester, again we could only settle for a point which leaves us in a dicey position...That's twice in the space of less than 2 weeks that we have failed to capitalize on the struggles of our rivals. If we go back in the season, you'll find countless other times we have faltered when it matters most.

You don't start with 10 strikers so, if I must pick 3 to start with Rashford as an option, Mbappe and Griezmann are obvious choices for the 3rd option, I'll go with Giroud/Lacazette that's assuming Dembele is out injure or Martial is off form.

Whether Rashford will start on not is up for debate but no just dey drop names anyhow to support the argument.

Out of the last 4 seasons Lemar has been off form for 3 of them.

His last season in form was 2016-17 when all Monaco players including Mendy, Sidibe, Bakayoko looked world class.

It is time we asked whether Lemar was a flash in the pan.

The argument was always about whether or not he'll be a starter...

Lukaku has never been known for his aerial prowess, when he was here, he was renowned for losing aerial duels with the opposition CBs whenever we go route one.

Martial lost his place in that France World Cup squad because JM brought in Sánchez in Jan 2018 to displace an in form Martial from the LW.

Rashford gets into the squad easily but whether he makes the first team I don’t know.

Mbappe and Rashford on the same team would be nasty though.

It's easy to ask now that Lemar is off form. France have too much quality up front. Rashford won't start for France...
