If I am to pick one.... I would go for United

Nobody is advocating that we should completely embrace the Chelsea model however, in some instances it is applicable. Staying true to our tradition, the very good young players should be integrated into the first team whilst others who are not good enough or have their path to the first team blocked Ala Gomes should be loaned out and sold eventually.

The club spends a lot to develop some of these players that losing them on a free shouldn't suffice...

Imagine if we loaned Gomes out last year to Aston Villa or Sheffield and he does well, we could easily have them pay 15-20m for him. I believe that's the Chelsea model Baraja was talking about and not necessarily to have them play for the senior team.

The only person that has left recently is Gomes, and there are possible explanations for him leaving. Chelshit has not gained anything on the pitch from their model.
It can be argued that they have wrecked close to a dozen potential world class talents. They won the FA Youth Cup for 5 straight years and have little to show for it in the senior team.

And tying down unproven youth players with big contract is exactly what we should not do. See as that Chelshit Owusu-Abeyie played a fast one on his club.

Well said however, low key Chelsea have managed to make some good money courtesy of sales. Recently, Atlanta took up the option to buy Pasalic for 15m that low key good money. They're several others they sell between 5 - 10m...So, whilst they're not getting to benefit on the field of play, their account is steadily smiling...

This Grealish almost never plays centrally, always LWF.

I am quite suspicious of the guy. He is not quick enough to play on the wings for a top club and we have not really seen him play that 10 position in the EPL.

More reason I'm not sold on the Idea of splashing the cash to get him.

He did not have a great game but the endeavor was there.

One thing he does well is that he frees up the by-line for Shaw to overlap.

Seeing that I am one of the biggest critic of Wan-Bissaka here, it is only fair that I applaud for his contribution to our attack in the past few games.

Elampiro, I hope you can see the effect of a good supporting cast? Shaw is bombing forward as is Wan-Bissaka and you have Bruno and Pogba pushing high up the pitch to good effect. Maguire and Lindelof occupy the DM position when we attack not like in time past where they all sit back waiting for our strikers to do all the work.

De Gea has been fantastic tonight...

I can stomach the poor second half seeing how well we played in the first half but in the long run, we need to do better...

You can be creative and not lose possession many times. Let's go back in time and see how many AMFs lose possession like Bruno. All we are saying is that sometimes, he hurries his passes too much and it's evident from the last couple of games unless we have been watching different matches. When we didn't sign him in the summer, someone here shared a report where the scout that watched him said he loses the ball often and that made United opt against signing him then.

Pogba has kept it simple and still mange to create good chances, Bruno can do same too.

I think we need to cut the lads some slack, a lot of the players that started haven't played a lot of games recently...

I particularly love Greenwood for his forward thinking play and urgency when the chance presents itself for him to take on a defender or shoot on goal. At some point, Norwich had 3 men rushing over to cover him as it was obvious he had the beating of their LB. Rashford should be offering same level of threat on the LWF position but he isn't prolly due to that back injury.

Pogba was a calming presence and Bruno should learn from him to be a little patient on the ball before attempting a pass.

When Pogba keeps it simple, no midfielder in the world comes close.
