Lol, what I meant was that with time we can increase the overall quality of the squad so that our bench won't be a whole level down from the first eleven if we really want to compete at the highest level. Take nothing away from ighalo and co, I absolutely love them and what they are bringing to the team right now but we can do better maybe not immediately but in the nearest future.

Then you should have at least read the post I replied to before responding. Going forward I agree we need to improve a couple of positions (RW, DM, RCB? and to a lesser extent, LB depending on how Williams improves)

The whole argument here is totally unnecessary. If we had a very good option for our RW, I'd join the argument but for now, James hasn't done enough to hold a starting spot for the remainder of the season thus our best bet going forward is a diamond midfield that will have Fred, McTonimay, Pogba and Bruno all starting together and against the small teams, we can drop either of Fred or McSauce for Greenwood.

IMO, I won't start the better players at once. You can surprises on the bench to twerk the match at about 65 to 70 mins to give your opponents something to get confused on.

I won't like seeing Bruno and Pogba start yet. Occasionally, Pogba can come in for the second half just to replace Fred. Having better options on the bench too can give you how to dictate play at any time.

I'm happy that the squad if fit and I hope this will be till the season ends.

On the bench, we'd have Ighalo, Greenwood, James/McSause depending on Ole's selection. That's enough fire power.

If not for Shaw and Wan-Bissaka, we'd have had the perfect team for a 4-4-2 diamond formation. Evra and Raphael as our fullbacks would have been great but now, one of Fred or McSauce will have to make do with a place on the bench especially if Sancho arrives...

I guess we are away? If yes, then Ole will likely opt for 3 at the back. Although, even with your formation, McTonimay should replace Matic and he can easily slot in as the 3rd CB with Shaw playing as a wing back and Fred as the DM behind Pogba and Bruno.

Sancho is 3 years younger and already better with better stats and better decision making than Neres. In particular Sancho is a better passer and crosser than Neres and gets far more assists and goals.

Sancho’s edge is not just cos he his English. In fact i can say many people here actually rate him poorly because he is English.

Well, Neres had an injury plagued season thus his Stat will definitely not match up to Sancho.

One thing about Sancho I have noticed whenever I watch him is that he likes drifting from the RW to LW or AM however, I am not sure if he does that to allow Hakimi the space to bomb forward or if it's part of his game. Any idea?

Sancho will be welcomed by me but not at an outrageous price tag.

I'll take Van De Beek and other play makers in Europe over Maddison or any English midfielder but using stats alone to judge Maddison isn't enough, take out time to see Leicester City games and you'd know how good he is...

Abeg I don't want that Grealish here. Van De Beek is the better player and less expensive. I am not down for all that English hype. If I am in a position to pick one English player, it'd be Maddison.

Rumors say James will likely be loaned out. If so, then it means we will be getting Sancho.

Another option is a diamond midfield especially against top teams. I'd love to see how we will perform against City or Liverpool with a diamond midfield of Fred at the base, Pogba on the left, McTonimay on the right and Bruno at the tip.

As much as I like Ndidi, I'll take Van De Beek over him. Van De Beek can comfortably play as a CM and an AMF. He fits in as a very good box-2-box CM.

Seeing that we are not too sure of Pogba, I'll rather we sign a ready made replacement even when he is still with us just so clubs don't fleece us when we start scrambling to find a replacing should he leave.

If the option is between Ndidi and Partey, I'll still take Partey over Ndidi, Partey is better with the ball at his feet. In all, the performance of Fred or McTonimay behind Pogba and Bruno will decide whether or not we opt for a new DM...

Partey should be the obvious choice, he will come relatively cheaper than most.

With rumors linking us with midfielders, I suspect the board and Ole are fed up with Pogba or are trying to sign another world class midfielder just so we aren't dependent on Paul anymore.

Ole even made a statement that suggests he doesn't want a self-centered player amongst his squad.

Van De Beek will make a fantastic addition to our midfield but then, Madrid are looking to replace Modric soon thus I expect them to fight for his signature unless they stick with Odegaard who should be back from his loan spell with Sociedad.

We don't have a place in our team for Saul unless Pogba is leaving. Even then, Juventus and Real Madrid will most likely not pay up to 130m for Pogba thus it will be silly if we go ahead and buy Saul for 135m

I am not a fan of all these online brawls, especially on here. If you look closely, you'll observe that certain folks here base their position in any argument on what side their perceived enemy is supporting. It might degenerate to something else in the near future, guys here should learn to be more tolerant towards each other.

Yes, racism is a global issue but you will agree with me that racism is relative to the socio-cultural and political disposition of a people and a country hence an individual resident in a particular place is in a better position to put forth the peculiar case they face (Take Russia and the UK as an example, a racist in the both countries won't go about it the same way)
