Smart enough to acquire bachelor's degree, masters, doctorate while winning academic awards along the way BUT acting extremely stupid when it comes to helping the common man. It is like they intentionally try to inflict pain and suffering on the masses, because the average man on the street would do better not to talk about people that are supposed to be more exposed and intelligent. Nothing seems to be working in this country. Global crude oil price has plunged to an all time low but our useless leaders won't cut down the price of fuel but once crude oil price picks up as will likely be the case after the pandemic, trust the idiotic politicians to increase the price of fuel disproportionately...No light in sight, we are in for a rough ride... |

larride: Like I said the day when this argument started, there are some checks n balances which I mentioned that you have overlooked.
Let me break it down again and hopefully I don’t have to repeat myself again.
CBT is done by the communities where they define what poverty means for them and they collate their list in wards which they send to the local government. Yes the state government are the one that will train staff to carry out this CBT so it’s possible to falsify data from the local government.
Now NSIP (FG) are the one that does the verification through PMT (Proxy means Test) where they go to each communities and visit the homes of those on the list. Apart from checking out the communities, some of the questions they ask borders on the poverty index like source of income, TV, gen, widow or widower, dependent and the likes. This is the way the verification takes place. After the verification NSIP (FG) then does the data capturing through Household uplifting program (HUP) where they create a wallet for them and an ID card.
Now to payment, the money doesn’t go to state government or local government to share, HUP select a payment service provider to cover each state, SIP then pay to the beneficiaries directly after verification of their names.
Zamfara, Abia, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa beneficiaries haven’t gotten their own money yet, the Minister said their contract was terminated because they were delaying in carrying out their contractual agreement.
The chart you posted, it’s obvious Ebonyi missing is an error. This is exactly what I saw them doing in Cross River. I met and became close to one of the members of the teams. I think it was a partnership with World Bank or thereabout... They define what poverty entails and the local community drafts and sends the list of the poor in their locality to them after which they send in their volunteers to verify the household and socioeconomic status of each name on the list. |

Ibime: What I know is that in Scholes prime, we only talk of Keane vs Vieira.
And after they left, we only talked of Lampard vs Gerrard
Scholes has always been a 3rd wheel in midfield and a 5th or 6th wheel in any Manure team in any era
He is deserving of a place on the bench. Top player, but he has neither the statistical records, nor status in his own team to help his argument. You're talking about a club and a team that dominated the league thus it shouldn't be a shocker if their 4th or 5th most important player is better than starters for most team. |

I know you to be the Midget fan boy, so no big deal. In that left wing, Giggs will dislodge Ronaldo...Now, do well to post that ESPN 11 let's see if everyone unanimously accepts it. ESPN like many other sport sites have humans doing those pickings like you and I. I watched all the players on my list so, I have informed opinion of them. |

hardeycute: Ronaldo played as a winger in a 4-4-2 formation, how is that different from playing as a midfielder? I'm sure he had nothing to do with Man united winning UCL? For someone that came close to winning WPOTY in 2007 and with at least 4 years of consistency. The Gary Neville that is on the list, how many good years did he had? You don't understand my point, do you? Whatever he did to help us win the UCL is inconsequential when talking about his EPL exploits. Having a good run in the UCL is enough to earn you the Balon D'or in most cases. Gary Neville was consistent for a long period of time and it counts when you are talking about all time 11s of a league. Ronaldo's peak years was in Madrid, for an all time La Liga 11, he'll definitely be there but not the EPL where I will even place Rooney and Aguero ahead of him. I'm sure if I asked for an all time Serie A 11, most folks will have Ronaldo in there when he shouldn't be anywhere close to that list. |

hardeycute: For someone who won WPOTY as the first and last person from EPL, what else is to "do well"? I blame Ferguson for playing him out of position during his early days. What do you mean by out of position? Ronaldo was always a winger. In fact, it was at Manchester United that he was coached to develop the other aspects of his game away from dribbling. Ronaldo won the WPOTY award that season because Manchester United won the UCL and eliminated Barcelona in the semis. If we had won just the EPL and Barcelona, the UCL, Messi would have won it. I trust you already know that in that time, the UCL was a big determinant except of course in a world cup year. |

Ronaldo didn't quite do so much in the EPL to be considered in any all time 11. In between the sticks, I'll take Schmeichel, at RB, G. Neville, RCB - Cavarlho, LCB - Vidic, LB - Cole... I'll have a 3 man midfield with Scholes and Keane at the base and Lampard at the top of the triangle... In attack, I will have Giggs providing the width with Shearer as the CF partnered Henry playing slightly out right... |

Godx: True. As a teenager, I thought he was Ballon d'or material. Whilst Ronaldo and Messi pushed themselves to the very limit to develop their game, Rooney didn't really put in that extra effort. So, you think all those guys would've started scoring at the same rate you saw them maintain in their peak years?
When it comes to Ronaldo, you guys claim he went to Spain and had it easy compared to England and here, some of you are implying Shearer had it easy in England.
You think Aguero was the top striker he is now when he was way younger? Same goes for Henry, Nistelrooy and the likes. For those Rooney and Henry excuses, it's nobody's fault if they couldn't hold their place as the CF. |

The reason why I asked about this is because you spent more time in the last comment talking about how victories are being underreported. If there are so many underreported victories, why are parts of the North East still unsafe? Why are we still fighting this war even after 4 years of being promised that "it will be a thing of the past?"
Tomorrow, you'll come and tell us how you are criticizing Buhari over his choices on defense, but here you are berating another person's victory so you can applaud Buhari
