Ruben Amorim has an atrocious record at Manchester United and no amount of spin can cover it up. Normally I don't respond to people like you but I will do it this once for record purposes.

Ruben Amorim joined Manchester United in November 11th 2024.

Since that time he has played 28 league games including the home loss yesterday evening to Arsenal.

Here is the abysmal record.

Games played- 28 league games.
Won- 7 games.
Loss- 15 games.
Draw- 6 games.
Total league pts- 27 points.


If any rational person feels that a return of 27 points from 28 games is satisfactory then I have nothing to say to such an individual.


However in my little understanding of football such mediocre and abysmal record only compares to the worst managers in the history of the Premier league like Franck de Boer at Crystal Palace who played 5 games and lost all 5 games with 0(zero) points and Terry Connor at Wolves who played 13 games. Won none,had 4 draws and 9 loses.

Amorim has simply continued from where he stopped last season and there is a big possibility he will lose away at Fulham this weekend.
The figures are sacred. The figures do not lie. Without Ten Hag and Van Nistelroys points last season Manchester United WOULD HAVE BEEN RELEGATED!!!

If pointing to the cold facts of Amorim’s case then makes me a hater in your words then it is your opinion and you are entitled to it. However it doesn't change the facts that Amorim is on par with Connor and de Boer for the worst record by any manager in the Premier league.

So Manchester United are back to where they left off last season.
Amorim with his rubbish selection and mediocre tactics will be the death of this club. His supporters keep on making excuses for him while the club is sliding further down the league table.
United were playing at Old Trafford which is their home ground!
I fear for the future of this football club under Ruben Amorim. The Premier league is not the same thing as the Portuguese Premiera league. The difference is miles apart.

the understanding in attack should get better as they play together. the new signings are all ball players. this is very important.

Casemiro and Shaw were tidy. a game every other week for both should keep them at optimum condition.

Bayindir needs to command the box better. His distribution was alright today.

Agenda aside, you can't blame Konate without blaming vvd as well. In fact, vvd is 💯 responsible for that goal. Poor defending

Vvd is not a bad defender but he does have the tendency to run away from dribbles. There's a reason why his aura defending style is a global meme.

Go back and watch the goal again. When Semenyo started to run at the Liverpool defence, the closest to track him was vvd, he ran away looking right and left like a kid that wants to cross a busy road. In that moment, there was a Liverpool player to vvd's left tracking that side of the pitch.

But on the right, Konate was the only one who was actually trying to engage Semenyo but he had two Bournemouth players to his right while there was no bornmouth player to vvd's left with even a Liverpool player tracking that side of the pitch. It's funny how you're trying to pin the blame on Konate who at that moment was tracking three players(Semenyo and the other two blue shirts on his right hand side) with virtually no support in sight. Vvd was partly at fault here.

Like I said he's a good defender but here is Millner calling him out after he was avoiding dribbles forcing this 40 year old EPL veteran to sacrifice himself as the vacuum cleaner.
