The elite La Liga players of recent years are Bale, Ronaldo Griezman, Messi Neymar Xavi Iniesta, Suarez, Ramos These are the elite La Liga players of the past decade they will not leave for EPL
rather its the Silvas, Ozil DiMaria, Alexis, Costa, Fabregas Mata Michu that come to the EPL to roughshod over the weaker and less skilled players there
Cortouis and DDG were the best keepers in the EPL and suddenly started getting linked to La Liga but when EPL will take its was Kepa from Bilbao a 30M keeper that they paid 70M for
Hazard became EPL best player and has been begging people in Spain to come for him Many pundits still believe that if Costa was not injured, Atletico would have won that final, he was heads and shoulder their best player...Yaya? |

When was the last time you saw the La liga best player come to play in EPL
Unlike EPL where its the best players that get cherry picked by the La liga seniors It's like saying Kane is second rate because he plays for Spurs...David Silva, Aguero, Yaya and Costa were hardly second rate players. Talking about second rate, it was Forlan that moved from Manchester United bench to Spain where he dominated the league. |

When it comes to trophies in UCL and Europa, LA liga dwarfs England. in head to head, epl is eviscerated by LA liga
The best players in England end up in Spain... Henry, Beckham, Van Nistelrooy, Ronaldo... And second tier players in LA liga move to EPL and take over Costa, Silva, Aguero, De gea, Yaya Toure and a host of others...
LA liga has produced many more world bests.
So how exactly is epl better than LA liga...
And don't bring competitiveness oo because if it's that one, Nigerian League is the best in the world When you remember Becks, which team comes to your mind? Nistelrooy? Henry? Only Ronaldo left at his peak. And how is Costa second tier? Is it that every other player not in Barca and Madrid are second tier players? Aguero, Silva, De Gea, Yaya Toure etal were amongst the best in their respective teams... |

Eruditor: 0 sense made.
Not everyone who wins a league disgraced the league in the process.
One team was 19pts ahead of the other. The other team was 9pts ahead.
One team won the league with 5 games to spare. The other team won the league with 1 game to spare.
One team had 77+ goals or so..the next team had 20 or 30+ compared to Mou's team having 89 GD compared to barca having 85.
One team scored the most and conceded the least. In fact had the best record in almost everything (as per that one season compared to everyone else). The other team did not.
The only similar achievements between both teams was 100pts, number of wins and the record goals scored. Problem is, the very next season someone else achieved the wins and points haul.
How does anyone with a straight face now claim that RM team disgraced the league when someone else was virtually neck and neck with them and even readily surpassed them the following season?
And if a record of 100points is being discussed the correct way to table the record is to say 2 people in La Liga have done that.
It is common-sense but this is a Chelsea thread so no surprises if some Chelsea fans and apologists don't have sense.
In one breath, La Liga is easy. It is a 2-horse race. In another breath, they compare a La Liga record to EPL and don't see that they are indirectly saying anyone who can replicate a La Liga record in the EPL has disgraced the so-called most competitive league in the world.
LMAOO. You have started again with records, same records you dropped here and was disgraced terribly. A record is a record, this rubbish you're spewing is undigested amala. |

Have in mind also that some of our boys',, especially Martial's performance drops after having a long run of games in the starting 11.. raumdeuter: What you call conjectures are pattern analysis,
Madrid usually do not sign all these type of developmental players , post la decima they slowed down and started getting interested in cheaper younger players You buy to improve your squad, right now, the if they're gonna replace Benzema, they'd be looking at Lewandowski (age factor might count against him), Kane, Icardi etc of the aforementioned players, none will cost less than a 150m and if their clubs were ever willing to sell, trust PSG, Chelsea, United etc to match Madrid's bid and most likely top it thus they're looking for more viable alternatives that's why their sniffing around South America looking for the next best talent. Name one player you think Madrid will decide to get and will get the player unchallenged like in the past? Madrid sef know say things don change... They were interested in Pogba, Manchester United came in and offered more, they looked at Mbappe but PSG cmae in an offered ridiculous amount for his signature. The only way Madrid will get a top player now without other clubs matching their bid or even out bidding them is if the player on his part insist it must be Madrid. |

raumdeuter: If Madrid was still in the hunt for Le decima, they would have bought any player they want to buy
KdB Kane, Neymar are not harder to buy now than Figo, Zidane Ronaldo etc
So you think a club who dropped 56M to buy off their rivals best player almost 20yrs ago will have a problem paying over 200M if they need? A club who paid 65M in 2001 will have a problem paying for who they need? A club who had Ronaldo Morientes Raul still didn't think twice before Adding signing Owen will now think of what?
Did they not have Figo before buying Beckham for the right wing?
Madrid is still the favourite destination for many players and if a club like Liverpool, can afford to sign a keeper for 70M you now think its Madrid that wont?
Imagine Madrid hunting for the next best thing from South America, pre la decima, how many times did they bother with South America when they can buy Europe tested and trusted now Madrid is buying Vicinius and other 18yr olds
If Madrid goes hungry for 5yrs and don't win, Anyone and every good player available becomes a target.
Madrid went 3 seasons without a major signing when we don hear that one last? Some of the recent seasons they even went into the season without buying anyone
When Barcelona needed a title they assembled MSN. Bought Suarez the best player in the EPL, Bought Neymar.
When Bayern wanted to win the CL there was a certain desperation from the players and management especially after the 2012 CL final loss, Lol as if Newcastle didn't have the spending power before or Blackburn...Madrid's case though different in the sense that they're still winning but they have backtracked in terms of splashing the cash for the past few years. If they ever decide to come out all guns blazing, they'd have it in the back of their minds that PSG, Man City, Manchester United and Chelsea are around and can go toe to toe with them. |

Martial - Sanchez - Rashford
or
Memphis - Martial - Lingard

raumdeuter: 5yrs before La Decima, Madrid broke the world record for Ronaldo Kaka and Bale. when was the last time Madrid spent like that. Why was the days of Galacticos long gone? You think if Madrid still hasnt won the CL till date they won't be buying furiously? Why do you think Madrid is pushing Asensio, Vasquez Ceballos Mariano and other young inexperienced players into the team? If they hadnt won la decima you can be assure that instead of Asensio Mariano Vazquez it will be Lewandoski, Neymar, and any star they see
You are really funny if you think because other teams have money Madrid wont spend and it shows you are new to this European football thing
In the early 2000 when the Galacticos policy started you thought only Madrid had money? Lazio was rich and breaking world record, Inter was rich and breaking world records, Barcelona was rich, Man utd was rich, Milan was rich Yet did that stop Madrid?
How can Madrid point at Figo and get him, how did they point at Zidane and get him, How did they point at Ronaldo and get him. Are these players more difficult to get than Neymar?
Madrid can just go to Barcelona and get Figo but they cannot go to PSG and get Neymar? you think Neymar is harder to get in 2018 than Figo in 2000?
Its how things work, Most coaches will tell you its hard finding motivation after breaking a barrier. They can try but will always notice a significant drop in desire You guys at Bayern don't have a player good enough to warrant an offensive from one of this oil money driven clubs so you won't understand the difference between the spending power of then Lazio, Man Utd, Juve, Milan to the present day PSG, Man City, Chelsea. Even Man Utd is more willing to spend now, see Liverpool, Everton are buying players for 50m not one but 2. Madrid can't harass clubs like they use to, in times past, De Gea would've been a Madrid players for the past 3 years, they'd be looking at KDB, Kane etc with intent on getting them but no, they know Levy will price Kane at over 200m, City won't even entertain a conversation with KDB up for discussion, PSG will rebuff any move for Neymar and respond with an audacious move for Marcelo and Benz... The clubs who are willing to sell will do so for an outrageous fee knowing too well they won't be short of suitors, if Madrid for instance offers 150m for Kane, trust me, PSG, Chelsea, Man City will equal their offer and even top it with some extra 20m. It's no wonder Madrid are hunting for the next best thing from South America. If this excuse you are dropping first for Man City and now Madrid is valid as you want to have us believe, why then did Barca do away with Enrique, why was your fellow Bayern fan A.40 displeased with Pep's performance in Europe afterall you guys had won the UCL a year before he arrived? You guys should have been contented with semis since after winning the UCL you are now permitted to go on a 10year barren run in a bid to find motivation to win again. Why are you angry with Kovac, shey you guys have won enough Bundesliga, you guys can as well finish 4th or maybe the players are not motivated to win the league any more, then the problem isn't Kovac, right? |

Comprehension is a big problem here. He only said when Pogba plays to his potential then he is just about the best in the league and world, there's a clause there that explicitly qualifies him to be the best but no, you guys are already misrepresenting his line of thought. |

raumdeuter: Madrids greatest motivation was to win La decima, After that season they were just doing it for fun, Even though their lackadaisical approach was even too much for their competition. If Anthony Joshua fights drunk with one hand tied he will still beat 70% of the world
Why do you think Madrid has not entered the market furiously like everyone knew they were capable of in the past 4 yrs? A team capable of signing world stars for fun. Who was the last Galactico Madrid signed, Now compare them to the Madrid you used to know
Post la decima, is this the type of Madrid transfers the football world was seeing pre la decima?
All these things are simple if you take time to reason through it, Just because Dayo posted something, some people always feel compelled to oppose it They didn't spend because they had no need to and the days of galacticos is long gone, other clubs have caught up with them thus can comfortably offer just as much if not more for players, it has nothing to do with lack of ambition. Do you really expect Madrid to point at Neymar and get him just cos they're Madrid? Hell naw! The first paragraph is laughable, it is similar to your coefficient excuse for the rubbish performance of Bundesliga clubs in Europe.
