Who is Dalot in football when one mentions Young? Even Shaw? Shaw might not be able to achieve what Young has achieved in football. Young has provided goals for Martial than Shaw who plays on same side with him.
That your crush a winger is dragging places with Shaw and Dalot, you should know how useless he had become.
Just calm down, let Dalot recover first.

Elampiro, stop being mischievous abeg...
Shaw has been very good for us, at first you said he made our LWF bad then Martial started scoring from LWF but you dubiously want to take it away from the lad.
Dalot will take that RB slot soon and send your crush permanently to the bench even though he's been helpful of late.

Madam Oby, the millions of Nigerians who live in abject poverty you're talking about are foolish, they'd rather vote for those who have impoverished them. A sad situation.

They have survived LFC away without him I think they can nick games here and there without him as well. It is UCL that he will be missed and that is where I feel they will be hurt. Liverpool are a Salah injury away from slipping up as well and in situations like this I always root for the previous champions. I expect City to bring in a DM in January but if they don't, Stones will deputize for Fernandinho.

A lot of hoopla is being made about LFCs chances (and rightly so) but I am not sold on other contenders yet.
You obviously have not being watching Liverpool this season, Salah is not their best player.

Ramsey has not done anything since 2016. He is best known for his goal scoring instincts, but won't he struggle in a team that finds it difficult to create chances?
Well, you have a point but our lack of chance creation is also down to poor movement from our forwards and midfielders, one area I think Mou needs to seriously work on.

This can be said of every incoming player, nobody knows how things will pan out unless of course it's a Messi or Ronaldo signing.

Sissoko functions in a given role, I guess you watched Spurs vs City?
Ramsey is only in the argument cos he is free it's not like he is the best out there.

Why would you use Fred as a DM? He'll be bullied in midfield and in trying to find his feet he'll commit. Le pastor is jittery and all over the place. He's got good passing range though.

McTomm is also a CM but he needs lots of games to be ready and I don't think Jose is ready to give him that.

The only person who can be an intelligent DM for us is Perreira- with his skills he can get there quicker than the rest. I'd fancy Djoucoure in that position too. Anybody but Matic.
Pereira can play that position even better than Fred no doubt but he isn't getting the look in he deserves.
Doucoure is a very good alternative, I will personally take him over Ramsey but will Ed Woodward be ready to splash the cash again? This is why Ramsey is in the conversation, he'd be free.

Do you see Ramsey as a leader in the midfield? One that's always ready to cover as much ground as possible every match day? Is he a creator? Can he open defenses?
I saw Ramsey in the Euros, 2016 and he was a monster, he led the Welsh team from midfield and in his absence, they crumbled before Portugal.

Sanchez was also pretty much free. How much do you think he's actually going to cost? Ramsey wont come cheap in wages. Like I said, it'll be a case of signing a player we don't need rather than focusing on players we do need.
Sanchez was a swap, the wages he got was high due to the competition from City...Like Sanchez, Ramsey is a gamble but one that is worth taking...I dare say bar Pogba probably, no other midfielder in our team at present guarantees you goals...
Going forward, Matic should be a squad player if we intend to join the big league, you can clearly see Juventus and in particular, Dybala targeted him for his slow pace, Fred can play that position, so Ramsey isn't much of an uncessary addition if you look at it this way. Pereira is also an option for midfield but not McTonimay, I really do not rate the lad.

He's a good player but I'm not convinced he'll be enough for the level we aspire to.

Also it'll be a case of signing a player in a position we're not really looking for right now. So many other positions to focus on.
He's coming on a free, if it clicks, you have a potential world class CM/AM for free, if it doesn't, you can sell him off to the likes of Everton for at least 25-35m

Why continual collection of rejects? Ramsey will also want massive wages. An arsenal reject at that. No thanks. Let the scouts do their jobs and unearth talents.
Ramsey is not a reject and even if he was, you can't say otherwise about the quality he possesses. He'd be a great addition to any team he joins...

Scintillating but that midfield will lack a proper DM who can shield the back 4.

Plus Ramsey would be better ahead of Pogba up the pitch, methinks.

Why don't we go for Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure? He's rated £35m and would perform better than the lethargic Matic.

Fred, Pereira, Mata and Sanchez can fight for the remaining 2 spots left (midfield and RW).
Doucoure is also a very good option, he'd come with good defensive and attacking qualities. I think we should binned the idea of a natural RW and instead opt for a very attacking RB similar to Dani Alves and have one of our CM covering up for him whenever he bumps forward.

Guys, Ramsey will be available for on a free in the summer, I hope we get him and play 4-3-1-2 next season.
The 3 midfielders being Fred - Ramsey - Pereira with Pogba in the hole...
Martial and Rashford up top together.

You are the one getting it wrong because you simply don't understand the basic terminology and what brought about the name to begin with

That is exactly what it entails. So calling a Ronaldo and Suarez foxes in the box tells me you just don't know
Okay.

E say Predator. Predator ko Commando ni. You watch Suarez play for Uruguay and Barca setting up Cavani and his other teammates Sturridge at Liverpool as well and you still call him a fox in the box?

Suarez and Ronaldo are versatile players who don't rely on service to score. They can score and create. Inzaghi, Nistelrooy, Solksjaer, Fowler, Crespo all needed service.
See where you are getting it wrong, that a strikers is a fox in the box doesn't mean that he is entirely useless outside the box or depends on others to score. Inzaghi is no the standard, he is only a part of a bigger picture.

Messi nko? Himself no be fox in the box? Since everybody is now fox in the box to you people
Messi isn't very Mucha fox in the box, he builds most of the attacks with scintillating dribbling and in some cases, defense splitting passes before arriving at the box to bury the chances in mostly signature moves. At first, it was a one-two with Alves, now it's a cut back from Alba.

Ronaldo, Nistelrooy, Inzaghi, Suarez etc are predators that feed on half chances and can score with just about any part of their bodies, head, right or left foot, chest, knees etc.

Christiano Ronaldo is a fox in the box...Argue all you want. Unlimited22 clearly explained it in one of his post.
For you guys, a fox in the box striker must be a natural poacher and nothing more but for a fact, it's not true.

A fox in the box is usuallt used to describe target men who operate mainly in the box like Inzaghi, Nistelrooy. Strikers whose job is to poach

No one can watch Suarez for 90mins and think he fits into that bill, Since Suarez roams around a lot and is comfortable anywhere in attack

Suarez is not a fox in the box. That is what airmark does not know, he heard the term and he thought oh, what a fancy term let me just throw it out there.

That is the disadvantage of half education
Nobody's job is it to poach, players are only labeled poachers when they are constantly in and around the 'D' burying chances as they come...Suarez can be labeled a fox in the box because away from his creative side of the game, he is one of the most dangerous in the box.
You guys are looking at Inzaghi and the likes and thinking every strikers who is a fox in the box must always be in the box and most not be very good with the ball (dribbling and passing) but you're not entirely correct...Nistelrooy for instance was a fox in the box but he was always a very good player away from the box, his dribbling was good, he could pass and shoot from outside the box.
