All I need to see for me to know how good he is or how respected he is, is the way teams set up to comtain him, he is always marked by 2-3 players and no ordinary player is given that attention...

Modric plays on the right side of Madrid midfield 3 in the right side of attack, you have Bale or Vasquez who do a good job tracking back, in defense, you have Carvajal and Varane covering up, you can'tcompare that to Messi who hardly tracks back, Roberto who is a midfielder playing RB and an aging Pique.

For banter, we can say absurd things but truth be told, Hazard is the player I fear the most in the league when he is with the ball and running at Man Utd defenders...He needs to score more and has been doing well this season, he is a top player, for me, the best in the league...

If you want him to play like Xavi or offer more in attack then you must know this, Barcelona doesn't have a RW as Messi is fond of drifting into the AM position thus Roberto is left exposed everytime a team attacks through the right of Barcelona's defense where you have a slow Roberto, slow Pique (age factor and a Messi that doesn't really track back)...Now this is where Rakitic is a necessity...
On the left of the team, you have a Dembele who does a lot of tracking back and who has pace to burn, you also have Alba who is very fast and covering up for him is Umtiti who is one of the fastest CBs around thus you don't have same defensive burden placed on Coutinho...
When Xavi was in that Midfield, you had a much younger Busi in midfield who covered so much distance on the pitch, you also had a younger Alves and a Pique who was very much on top his game thus the midfield didn't have the responsibility of always covering up for Alves as Pique and Busi did so with aplomb...
I expect a fan who watches most of gis team's games to know these...

Well, Mou just has to find a system that accomdates him, I think Sanchez can play the Lingard role and Martial gets the nod on the left...
On so many occasions yesterday, Lingard should have passed rather than delay maybe he doesn't trust his passing ability or he just likes running...

We played very well in the first half, the movement from the lads were a joy to watch and Pogba, he kept things simple, pass and move, no unnecessary possession of the ball...
However, in the second half we looked a different team, maybe it's the international break that took its toll on the lads or it is the customary lackadaisical attitude once we're a goal or two to the good...We have to find a way of keeping the same intensity going for 90mins...

Mourinho should give up the idea of playing Martial on the right, it is not working and it may never work...
Martial and Shaw on the left will be a joy to watch with Martial's direct run with the ball and Shaw's overlapping runs...
