Now, they don't play in the same position. It's like comparing Neymar to Halilovic. We need a solid backup upfront. We don't need someone to be groomed at this juncture when it comes to the attack. Besides, we already have Munir in that category. You really wanna add Halilovic to that too, albeit without satisfying the real need of the team to have a solid and well-proven player as backup?

And to burst your bubble, Halilovic is gonna be on loan next season too. Anything other than that will hamper his development. As for the attack... Have you wondered why Lucho wanted (or wants) Nolito so badly? He needs a perfect replacement for one of MSN, and especially Neymar. There is a feeling that other areas are already covered with some sort of replacements for either of Suarez and Messi, but Neymar's wing has no such capable replacement, hence the need to have Nolito. And of course this is where Sane comes in too. So like I said earlier on, there is no affinity between bringing Leroy Sane and Alen Halilovic. If both will come, it will be to serve different purpose. And I am very certain Halilovic will still be on loan next season. That will be good for him and Barca also. Win-win for both parties.

Sane operates from the right where he cuts in with his left foot just like allen, so why go after Sane when Allen can do the trick?

Mourinho is not my favourite person but he is the practical solution to United's failure to win trophies since Sir Alex retired.

To be sincere i'd say YES...Mourinho will bring back the winning mentality associated with us

Someone already ridiculed the idea of Simeone as a coach whose team could play good footie but then again it comes down to crass ignorance or the usual i too know...We've seen Mourinho's Madrid playing fantastic footie and we've seen almost all the highly rated teams go on the defensive against Barca, so what's there to say Simeone with financial muscle and a great squad can't present excellent footie?
For AVB, it'd be funny to watch folks praise Pochettino who i must say is really good but at the same time, ridicule AVB...The man achieved a lot with porto (went a season unbeaten), i mean should all that be forgotten cos of a bad spell at Chelsea (a club whose players are renowned for playing poo when they ain't cool with the coach) or the short stint at spurs?
Bet if we had most of the mediocres here running Man Utd from way back, we'd never be talking of the fergie dynasty today...

Forget the picture you have in your head, any team that goes up against Barca must employ defensive tactics...Even Bayern are a little cautious against Barca...Real too are a scary team so it'd be wrong to judge Simeone as a purely defensive coach...Mou with the quality of Madrid team wasn't ultra defensive as you would think...
Quality of players available to a coach hugely determines/affects his approach to the game...

Man Utd mgt needs to decide if they want to play attacking football and always get a coach with attacking philosophy or if na defensive football and get a coach like that

If our board goes ahead to appoint Mourinho which i think isn't beyond Woodward, i'd look at it from the business point of view, the Mou vs Pep rivalry...Even the media are hell bent on seeing that kinda rivalry reignited...
However, if we must rip the benefit of Van Gaal's possession based footie, i'd be rooting for a Koeman, Pochettino, Giggs (to a lesser extent), Simeone, or AVB...I still think AVB has a lot to offer, he didn't do so well with Chelsea cos the players there are akin to rebels when the going gets tough but with a cool headed crop of youngsters mixed with a lil experience, i don't see him doing badly...
