I care less about the result today, I just want the player to play their best game against Bilbao and in the final of the UEL...Three games and that's it...

Amorim is very funny. Why play your best available team for a dead rubber game?

Do you guys want the progress of the club, or do you just want to win arguments here?

One can only hope he is at least useful on the pitch like we know he can be when he's not on internship.

If Shaw is here next season then it's safe to say we have no ambition to challenge for top honours.

1st correction. He has been way below average in the league. The squad is much better than 14th position.

2nd correction. He will get the 1st half of next season. Oct to Dec is historically the sack time.

If there is not significant improvement by the first few months of next season he should and will be shown the door.

between injury magnets like Shaw and Martinez, we can hope their injury terms never collide again.

What will Shaw be doing here by next season? He has to leave, he should be the first out of the club.

Bodo beating Spurs will be a huge upset but I am here for it provided we can navigate our way past Bilbao...Our experience at this stage of European competition should count for something.

For Me Kovar is not at our level, he is Below Avarage I jave watched him at Leverkusen a couple of times, he is error prone

We can get a 29-32 year old GKs that will be fantastic, Inter sold us the Bum Onana, and got Yan Sommer for like 5m and he was 34 that time, Van der Sar was languishing at Fulham 34 before fergie got him, he won us the UCL. No be everytime spending big solves problem. How old is Mat Sels at Forest. GK is a different of position.

That's why I mentioned in one of my replies to Doc that he is error prone. Sels or any other matured keeper around the age range you mentioned is fine.

He was the best rated CB in Mainoo’s set and actually made a Europa League squad for the senior team as far back as 2022, then he got injured the next month and did not come back until last year.

I still think it’s not going to happen for him here cos that injury took away his top level speed but it’s still good to see him at least get this chance. He is getting it most likely because he is the most mature and senior team ready CB in the academy, not because he has a longterm future here.

I hope he takes grabs his chance...I am always happy when I see youngsters making it.

I just read that Tyler Fredricson will get a start at CB today. An out of left field decision for a player whose United hopes I thought had been permanently dashed due to injuries.

It might be Fredricson, Lindelof, Maz at the back.

You haven't mentioned this one before...Let me go check him out.

I think I will watch the game today just the see what the youngsters can do...A few experienced heads mixed with youth should make for an interesting game.

We have the 3rd best squad of the 4 teams in the Semis. I think we are going to go into the game against Bilbao as underdogs which should work in our favor. Spurs, with all their players fit, are better, so, back to your question, we can win it, but it will take a lot of effort from the team (coaches and players).

I really don't understand you lot. One minute the players are not good enough to win the likes of Ipswich and Fulham while the next you want the same below average players to win the Europa. How is that going to happen if the players cannot start for Southampton like some said. Like I have said countless times Amorim has performed below par with the players at his disposal. The squad is capable of winning the Europa league and even finishing at least in the top ten. When we ask for results to improve you all said it's short term gain for long term failure. I didn't see anyone complaining about the win we had yesterday.

Please address those you had that discussion with and don't class everybody as the same. Of the 4 teams left in the competition, we have 3rd best team, we definitely are not favourites but on our day, we can beat anyone.

You might not like the coach, but for the love of the club, we really need to win the UEL and qualify for the UCL...

Reports say we don't have money and only UCL qualification guarantees cash windfall of any kind coupled with the fact that we can players will be willing to come with the allure of UCL football so as a fan, this is not the time to pray the team fails just so you can banter those who you think are loyal to the coach. If we don't win the UEL and Amorim finally gets the sack, where will the new coach get the money to bring in players? Abi, you will start demanding he will somehow get this crop of players to start delivering consistently.

I am surprised to see a few monikers blaming Hojlund...I kept close attention to Hojlund all game and to be honest, he had a good game. Our wingers are wired to go for goal first rather than pass. I saw him make a couple of good runs which were ignored by the supporting cast. I absolve him of any blame...
