I dont think any bank will sell to non-account holders. However, confirm what they mean by they have stopped. it could be that they were only out of dollar when you went there. The banks have a quota of how much they want sell per day. The officer you met might not have communicated the information correctly.

Yes I agree 1st bank & GTbank do not sell dey will tell u 2 use ur card over dere dat u'll b charged normal CBN rate. UBA used 2 sell bt dey stopped december. I bot frm diamond.

Then he said he needs a letter from an obyGgyn and gave me a form to bring back on a monday or Wednesday when I have a letter from a gyny. So I have to start looking for another hospital I guess. The letter is valid for a year.

If u had read thru d pages of dis thread well, u'll c dat pple actually got visas wit doctoresparati but later on VO's started frowning @ d letter. Any body taking dat lettr is @ his or her own risk. 2 b forewarned....complete am

I went for interview few days ago but denied without giving any reason, the only thing I was asked was a proof of doctor's communication in the USA & i presented my appointment letter which he steered at for sometime & he said I wasnt eligible. I have re-applied & having my interview soonest.
Pls what questions were you asked & what were your responses?
Were you asked why you want to deliver at the US?
What was your response?

Hi dear! Congrats on ur visa. Dunno d page exactly bt I'll advise u go 2 d airline website & view d info dere. Like BA cos dats wat i'm using will say 4 uncomplicated preggs, u must hv ur fit 2 fly & leave on or b4 36 weeks and so on.

Pls MIHS mamas did u do any test frm naija? Or is d package inclusive of d test? I'll like 2 know d ones accepted from naija.

Please, the stories about POE are scaring. Please, any idea of a safe POE?. It's horrific travelling for such a long distance and CBP refuse entry. Please, I have noted that CBP at Houston and Atlanta POE are very strike on pregnant women.

Hello bernghos, dere r oda POE's u can use aside houston & atlanta & so far most pple on dis thread come bck wit successful poe stories. Not read a bad one sha where d person was turned bck. If u like fly @ 31 or 35 weeks it's all dependent on ur airline. Check deir pregnancy policies 4 both complicated & uncomplicated pregnancies b4 u conclude on ur tk off date. JFK, dallas and phoenix so far i've read r kk 2 go thru. Its been mentioned on dis thread sowi cn't remember d exact page. Also mk sure u hv enuf cash on u as proof dat u can pay ur bills & b truthful. I hope dis helps...lastly tk ur time & go thru d thread wit ur paper & pen

y tk d risk of giving birth in a birthing center, its a red flag @ d embassy already & also in cases of complication ur bills can sky rocket to hundreds of thousands if u r nt careful... I wn't advise it @ all.

Secondly,u can choose 2 birth wherever u want as long as u hv d means. Thirdly, u can apply asap so dat in case of rejection u hv enuf time 2 reapply. Lastly she can use her recent passport & b truthful & pray cos dats d highest assurance u can get.
