Events and realities on ground point to the fact that the APC's weight in the race to 2023 Presidential election has seriously reduced. The ruling party has no national relevance/acceptability beyond the former popularity of the current President Muhammadu Buhari. If truly anything's still left for the APC Presidential candidate to still grab, it will be the votes of a few staunch supporters still benefiting directly from the APC candidate in the South West. |
Pastoring in Nigeria has now become a career that Nollywood actors and actresses feel they can just go into. Its the fault of Pastorpreneurs |
Some Nigerians seem to be confused on who is likely going to win next year's General Election. Some are even worried that Tinubu is going to win. However, the verifiable facts on ground indicate that Tinubu will lose woefully. Like the popular saying goes, politics is local. In a free and fair election, it is the wishes of the masses in all the wards, L.G.As and States, summed up together that makes any candidate win. So, what are the wishes of Nigerians in Jos, Sokoto, Ogoja, Biu, Nsukka, Abuja, Ogbomoso, Ekpoma, Iseyin, Onitsha, Kabba, Lagos, Kafanchan etc? Nigeria has 6 Geo-political zones namely: SS, SW, SE, NC, NW & NE. So, how popular are the 4 major Presidential election contestants in these zones? Let's begin with the SE. In this zone, it is common to see political aspirants contesting under APC, PDP or APGA for Senate, HOReps, or HOAssembly using Peter Obi's picture to gain popularity. Why is that? Simply because he is the one the local masses want! On the contrary, you will never see anyone contesting under APC in the SE using Tinubu's picture. They either use Peter Obi's pictures or stay alone! In the SS, the picture is also similar with the SE. In some states like Rivers and Cross River, both Tinubu and Atiku are also avoided by those contesting even under APC and PDP. In the NE, Atiku is very popular and that is why you will see almost all politicians contesting under the APC using his picture to gain popularity instead of using Tinubu's picture. Also, many APC members keep decamping to PDP. What is happening in the NE is also being replicated in the NW, in favour of Atiku. Tinubu has done so much (financially) to capture the NW yet all his efforts are in vain. Several rallies for Tinubu have been planned in Kano, Kaduna and other states in NW and they flopped miserably. The NW is generally perceived as the most politically conscious zone yet they've remained lethargic towards Tinubu despite everything he does to curry their favour. In the NC (mostly dominated by Christians), the Christians see Tinubu and his Muslim-Muslim ticket as a huge threat. While he only appears acceptable to the Kwara and some Kogi people. In the SW, this is the only region Tinubu seems to be enjoying some support, yet it isn't as widespread as it seems on social media. From Afenifere, Oodua to the churches and down to the average Yoruba men on the street, their opinion about Tinubu is completely divided. Tinubu is not too sure of winning even Lagos, a state he has controlled like an empire for 23 years! In the other 5 SW states, the margin he will use in winning is likely to be about 55%. Now, Tinubu is heavily relying on vote buying as well as some Northern governors in APC to help him win. But like other Southerners like Wike and Jonathan, Tinubu will soon learn the biggest lesson of his life. For those social media supporters hoping that Tinubu will somehow win, it is better to face reality now. Most Nigerians already know he is mentally and physically sick. Also, everyone knows that Tinubu is likely to perform worse than Buhari. Nigeria's next president would be either Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar. |
After the meeting, he will bribe some people to endorse him.... |

Isokiscool:I'm not talking of Atiku, Mr. Atiku Supporter. I'm telling you what's going on in Bauchi State now. Your statment is baseless assumption. |
FakeIgboJew:All faithful Muslims have that mark on their forehead. It is very obvious in some due to their skin colour and not visible in others who are dark skinned. Tinibu is not a faithful Muslim but a political Muslim who only prays in the Mosque during elections. |
I'm in a Local Government Area in Bauchi State, and I was surprised to see Labour Party campaign offices springing up. The movement for Peter Obi is moving at the speed of light. Even those in PDP and APC are campaigning for Peter Obi. |
Upliftment101:In the race to 2023 elections as it stands currently, Peter Obi is quite ahead, followed closely by Atiku Abubakar who is being tailed by Bola Tinubu almost sharing same pace with Rabiu Kwankwaso |
Nigerian Federal Universities require serious upgrade. A look at the standards in Covenant University and Landmark University and one or two others should be an example to Nigerian politicians. |
CR7 should have retired from Football when the Ovation was loudest. Now, even Arabian or Chinese clubs wouldn't want to sign him. |
DreCharles:I like the follow-come DVD, not the improvised ones people install behind the seat. |

Many doctored videos and statements of opposition contestants in the 2023 Presidential Election are being posted to the front pages of Nairaland without proper verification by Nairaland moderators. A recent post of a fake video of Peter Obi saying he pulled 439 million Nigerians out of poverty has been made to reach front page of Nairaland. The moderators don't fact check posts before pushing such to front page. The post: https://www.nairaland.com/7391007/peter-obi-able-move-439 Nairaland moderators meanwhile have tried to clean up their mess.
