Yoruba muslims don't have problems of religious tolerance. But the Hausa aboki muslims will see that as an abomination and will stone the Imam of the mosque to death. Imagine, a former Governor of Bauchi State gave traditional rulers Chevrolet vehicles and they rejected it after collecting them, sold them out because they said the Chevrolet logo was the cross of Jesus

Always try not to bring in situations or go to places that will cause strife and division between you and your wife. You're the Head of your wife and home and should behave responsibly. She should look up to you as her role model. |

The rapture is not the second coming of Christ. Jesus Christ is not going to come to the earth at the rapture but would be in the air at the trumpet sound to receive the Christians raptured. The Second coming of Jesus Christ is when he will come physically to reign as King of kings on earth. He will establish his rule at Zion (Jerusalem) After the thousand yrs reign of Christ on earth...the devil will be released again from the abyss to try those who were born on earth during the period of Christ's reign and unfortunately many will still be deceived. He will gather a large army to wage war against Christ and the Saints; but they will all be destroyed by the breadth of Christ. |
The Rapture is different from the Second coming of Jesus. The rapture is the sudden catching of the Saints or true believers in Christ who live holy and pure sinless lives to heaven which will happen in the blink of an eye. Only the Saints will hear the trumpet sound and see the Lord in the air. However, in the second coming of Jesus, he will come here physically to the earth to reign for a thousand years with the saints after the overthrow of the anti-christ and all eyes shall see him |
The Government doesn't give a damn whether he comes back or not. There are and have been so many intelligent Nigerians working for the development of other nations around the World and all the Nigerian successive governments do not give a hoot about them. |
Ex-students tackle NTI over lack of certificates five years after graduation Five years after completing their studies for a Postgraduate Diploma in Education PGDE, ex-students of the National Teachers’ Institute in the South-West region have lamented the failure of the institution to release their results or issue their certificates. The ex-students said their career in their respective workplaces had been affected, adding that despite completing the required payment, including school fees, efforts to get their notification of result or certificates had proved abortive. PUNCH Metro gathered that the NTI was running the PGDE programme in affiliation with the National Open University of Nigeria until 2017 when it decentralised the programme into six zones. The six zones are the North-Central, North-East, North-West, South-West, South-East and South-South, and are attached to different universities. One of the affected ex-students told PUNCH Metro that since the decentralisation, all those who partook in the programme in the South-West had yet to receive their results or certificates, adding that they were affiliated to the University of Ibadan. The ex-student said, “The management of the NTI and the University of Ibadan are holding on to our results since 2017, causing untold hardship to us. The NTI PGDE was structured to run within a session for working class students, who intended to become professional and certified teachers. “This programme was affiliated to the NOUN before, but in 2017, there was decentralisation into six zones. Each zone was affiliated to different universities and our zone, the NTI South-West, was affiliated to the University of Ibadan. Since then, the management of UI has been sitting on our results. “Students, who participated in the programme in 2017, 2018 and 2019, have not collected their results up till now, and the NTI management has been playing pranks with us without disclosing the problems between it and the UI. “Out of the six zones, students in the South-West are the ones that have yet to get their results and certificates. But the NTI in the South-West Zone keeps admitting more students for the programme in the region when it has not released any results and certificates for three consecutive sets.” Another ex-student said some of the affected persons had lost their teaching jobs and international teaching offers, among other opportunities, due to the unresolved issues between the management of the NTI in the South-West and the management of the UI, which had affected the processing of their results/certificates. The ex-student stated, “It was hell before the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria allowed us to take the qualifying exam in 2019 and despite the fact that many of us passed the exam, we could not get our TRCN results and certification as certified teachers, because the NTI in the South-West and UI failed to release our results. “We had engaged the Akure Zonal Coordinator and Lagos State Coordinator of the NTI since last year, but nothing positive came out of the engagements. They keep putting the blame on the University of Ibadan for not releasing our results and never told us they had affiliation issues with the University of Ibadan by defaulting in paying affiliation fees to the UI till date.” An ex-student, who did the programme in affiliation with the University of Ilorin, said, “I did the PGDE programme in 2018 with the NTI and because I’m based in Abuja, I was affiliated to the University of Ilorin. But I have got my result and I have a reseat, but some of my colleagues, who passed all their papers, have got theirs.” When contacted, the South-West Zonal Coordinator, Toyin Fape, declined to comment, but stressed that the Director-general, NTI, was in the best position to react to the complaints of the affected ex-students. She said, “I am not in the best position to attend to you since the complaints are meant for the Diirector-general and chief executive. I am not allowed to say anything to the press. “We are to conduct programmes and exams. It is only the Director-general and chief executive, who can attend to any complaints about the programme. It is a national programme.” When asked to be linked with the Director-General and Chief Executive, NTI HQ Kaduna, Prof Garba Azare, the zonal coordinator, Fape, declined to provide his contact to our correspondent. “The person, who gave you my number, should be able to give you the Director-General’s number. Tell the person to look for it; if the person was able to get my number, the person should be able to get that one for you,” she stated. |

Vice President Osinbajo seems to be the only sane and progressive thinking personality in the Buhari administration. Its just unfortunate he's hands are tied. Nigeria would have gone far in economic development if he were the President since 2015 |
