You're supposed to be working in an accounting related role and also reporting to an ACA for the experience to count.
Nevertheless, it could still count.

Paulo, I have two questions to ask :

1. What are the relevant textbooks for the four Diets in P.E II .......

I'm aware Adeniji is relevant for Mgt and Assurance while Innocent/FAMS is relevant for FA ..Study Pack is enough for IT .... All in P.E I.

Can I get combination like the above for P.E II aside study pack abi u think study pack is enough ?



2.Do u know about NIIT and Accounting packages (Training) offered by them(NIIT) ...... How quality is their training ?

Thanks for your commendation. For PE2, you have four subjects - financial reporting and ethics(fre), strategic financial management (sfm), public sector accounting (PSA) and advance tax(AT). For FRE you can use the pack and acca pack, sfm, use - Akinsulire, for PSA use - Adams and AT use- Akeju.

As for NIIT and Accounting packages, I seriously don't know if they do that but I know they do other IT certification programs like the Oracle, ccna, ccnp etc.
But my organisation is into several accounting packages including Sage, Peachtree and QuickBooks. You can reach me on 07088 53 1500 for further discussions.

Cele b/stop is along oshodi express naw. Take mile 2 from there. Or you can go through ago palace way. Take mile 2 from ago palace then tell the driver to stop you at ICAN centre.

I want u to brief me on how to tackle FA since IFRS have changed somethings...its as though some textbks are currently getting outdated xcept they bring a new edition out this year or next year. Can u recommend an FA-TEXTBOOK (nigerian) that has CURRENTLY effected IFRS changes in them i.e. in all its accounting TOPICS.

I think Nitrogen has done some justice to your enquiries. I'd still want to add that there's no single FA textbook that covers ICAN syllabus. You have to pick topics from different text. ROBERT IGBEN'S FAMS is one. I'd also suggest that you visit tuition houses to get what they're currently using. They're are definitely will be more accurate in text selection.

@OP with 500k you want to invest in a business and wait for a job? If you want to start a business with 500k please don't think of looking for another job otherwise you'll not fully focus on your business.

Like someone already said, what you need to do is to consolidate on the skill that enabled you save up to that amount during your service year. You'll need to polish that skill and make more marketable and professional etc...
