The road to being a professional is not in just passing the exams. You can pass the exams by just reading on your own but you'll miss other value added 'ingredients' that make you a total professional. If you have the opportunity of attending lectures, pls do.

Maximum of 4 weeks. If not, I'd suggest you go to their office or call to find out why.

@op that's one comment of yours that I'll like to talk about. Sorry I couldn't go through what others have said to know if they have mentioned it.
But that money you saved after service would have been enough to start a mini school since you claim to "love teaching with a passion". My advice is not just for you but for others who will be in your shoes much later. You could have started a day care or evening classes or jamb classes or any of the other options in that line. People should start thinking entrepreneurship. Don't limit yourself to paid employment. Dont be afraid of starting small.

The ATS packs can be used for Foundation, but a few topics will not be there. When I was teaching Law in Foundation I used ATS materials. Just check the syllabus then you can get other the materials to fill the gap.

you can download them from ICAN website under the archives section. You might not get CBL for foundation so you can download ATS 2 law in the stead.

Thanks for the compliments. The situation of the country is what's affecting every sector including us as professionals. Some are "lucky" to work in good places others ain't. Some others have taken their destinies into their hands. Setting up something and are doing well. Set your mind on the later, you'll not be disappointed if you know what you're doing, being independent. The market is available. The ICAN advantage is the level at which you'll be starting out after you qualify.

About the X, some have double while others have one. They all mean the same thing-"fail". I hear one X means marginal failure. Maybe like 2-4 marks remaining to cross the pass line.

Focus more on getting @ least 70marks and less on the Xs and their meaning.

You're writing financial accounting economics and law. I think the packs will do. You can google others. Just make sure you're following the syllabus.

One has to pay only for the papers failed. You'll need to check their website for the latest subjects cost.

You can use your school result or transcript or call up letter. Anyone will do. Your money will not be wasted whichever way.

where are you studying?
You will have to start from ATS 1 through 3 then one paper from intermediate through PE2. I suggested this to one of my proteges and she's in 300level now and she'll be writing intermediate this November. by the time she's graduating, she'll already be qualified or writing her final level.
Start right away.

Ahasco: Which ICAN centre would you recommend as the best?

ICAN centre how? Tuition house or exam centre? Exam centres are in alomost all the states. Just choose the one close to you. As for tuition houses, I cannot categorically tell you one, but I'll advice you check ICAN website for accredited centres.

Use internet explorer to browse. It's work only with that. Otherwise you'll need to pay extra 500 to submit it like that in ICAN office.

They don't give study packs anymore only CDs. Just take your exam registration print out to the nearest ICAN office or liaison office near you to collect yours.
