With the way the present government in that state is making meaningful changes, their productivity is definitely going to witness drastic increment.
I'll still rate oyo as a more productive state. The three state topping the chart have better chances of leader her.

Lagos has the port to keep her economy high, with the fact that it's the former capital and other surrounding conditions

Both Rivers and Delta are blessed with abundant resources that has been their support economically.

Oyo on her, without mineral or special federal consideration has been able to come out in an outstanding way economically(4th), even when the state wasn't as organized as it is now.
With Ajumobis innovative mind, oyo is going to shine.

This is wonderful. I dislike seeing hawkers all around while driving, they can be so frustrating when in traffic jam.
They stain everything on you with their liquid stuffs angry

I tell you this is great.
Anyone that is interested in their stuffs should find a way of reaching them wherever they're stationed, not on road.

That's a commendable move by Aregbe. It'll be more ambitious if he can focus more on investment that can bring increase to the state internal revenue and not just spending undecided

Politics › Re: Will PDP Win Lagos Come 2015? by PaulJohn1: 2:00am On Nov 28, 2012
danjohn: I am not an Igbo man. I am a South Southerner. All I am saying is that Lagos is a melting pot and if ACN picked a non-indigene like Pat Utomi as their candidate, it will rebrand ACN to the rest of the South. It could also make Southeasterners less suspicious of ACN.

Nigeria needs to do away with the whole indigene/non-indigene crap. A person should be able to run for office in a place where they have established residence. Pat Utomi is a resident of Lagos, he is a well respected technocrat, and he will be a good person to continue the good work that Fashola has started.

Pat Utomi emerging as governor of Lagos will help ACN remove the regional perception the party currently has, and it will help the party make inroads into more states in the South and the North Central.

I know that this idea can make a person laugh the first time they read it but if you give it a second thought, it could start making sense cheesy.
Why must every expectation of such be from the Yorubas? Must Yorubas always take the lead?!
Why not show love by electing a Northerner as your governor

Other regions have parties that are theirs, it will be great if they can choose a Yoruba man to rule them. May be we can change our mind when Ayo Fayoshe and Alao Akala are in charge of Rivers and Akwa Ibom respectively.

otokx: Answering questions is different from delivering good roads to the people of Rivers State, kindly come down and see the level of decay and decadence in Port Harcourt metropolis alone.
That's what matters. Oyinlola the former governor of Osun did the same in his time from 2003 every Saturday before he was evicted form office with nothing to show for it.
Politics › Re: Is Akwa Ibom Truely Beautiful? by PaulJohn1: 5:57pm On Nov 26, 2012
emiye: i disagree as regards the boldened part of your statement, other places matters.
Definitely, other places do matter and are aswell important for development.
Going by the OP's question: "Is Akwa Ibom Truely Beautiful?" Like I said "it's the condition of the capital which represents the state that is been considered in defining the beauty of a state".

Most visit to the state by an outsider is most likely to be Uyo, they have less business to do in other parts of the state, when Uyo that hosts them is seen to possess the quality of beauty, their thought about the state will definitely be positive(beauty).

Politics › Re: Is Akwa Ibom Truely Beautiful? by PaulJohn1: 6:31am On Nov 26, 2012
You're right about the wrong generalization.
You should also understand that the capital is the representation of any state/region or a nation. It's what the capital looks like that is been interpreted as the identity of the state. I'll say Akwa Ibom is beautiful, since what is presented as her capital is.

Going by your post, Abuja is not beautiful since more than 60% of the territory is still indecent. What matters is the what represents her.
Politics › Re: Osun Denies Planning To Castrate Rapists. by PaulJohn1: 6:16am On Nov 26, 2012
Jokes that might be misinterpreted are to be avoided. Castration is totally insane, It's a BC thing.

This shouldn't liberate rap.ist, waiting for the penalty. Torturing will be commendable.
Politics › Re: Breaking News..please Save Us From Rampaging Herdsmen by PaulJohn1: 6:02am On Nov 26, 2012
Too much of formality in our ways of life. When been formal is not the answer to a problem caused by some barbaric minded set of people, may be jungle justice will be the solution.

Still shocking how the governments of the states involved haven't taken any diplomatic step to curb this uncivilized culture of the cattle rearers. We seem to take things with levity, our accommodating culture shouldn't be to our detriment.

FreeGlobe: Am tired of hearing this fashola, is that how mediocre loving nigerians are? you people can make him president of lagos. he's not getting any south east vote.
The OP's suggestion wasn't even Fashola for president but as running mate of Duke. The deep rooted hatred in you won't let you realize you're far behind civilization. Be civil by getting over tribalism.

Credibility, competence with integrity should be our watchword in voting candidate.

@Post, excellent combination.
