Gambling is a dangerous adventure. It is more dangerous when it becomes an addiction. Back in Houston Texas, I watch my cousin loss 12k 9k dollars on soccer matches on different occasions. That's the ones I physically witnessed. Others were not inclusive. He will not hear advice to stop. He first started selling off his valuables to play to try and reduce the deficit. Later, he started borrowing and when no one could give him loans he started getting depressed. He has stopped due to rehabilitation. The truth is, there is no one that can beat the bookmakers and the odds are never in your favor. The best time to stop is now. Or better Gamble responsibly |
Hallenjay:Section 146 of the Nigeria constitution states the following : (3) Where the office of Vice-President becomes vacant:- (a) by reason of death or resignation, impeachment, permanent incapacity or removal in accordance with section 143 or 144 or for any other reason, the President shall nominate and, with the approval of each House of the National Assembly, appoint a new Vice-President. |
Osinbajo has finally been lame-ducked and functionally vasectomised..... He is in charge of Tradermoniand and condolence visits. I can remember the last time Nigeria had a Vice President with the potency to make and execute decisions was under the Obasanjo administration. The extensive economic programs initiated by the administration were machined by former Atiku Abubakar – before the fall out. Atiku supervised the privatization of public enterprises and truly wielded power as the second man in the hierarchy of authority. In August, after inaugurating his cabinet, President Muhammadu Buhari instructed his ministers to report to him through Abba Kyari, his Chief of Staff. He so asked that all Federal Executive Council matters be channeled to him through Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. On Monday, the President constituted an economic advisory council to replace the current economic management team headed by vice president Osinbajo. According to Femi Adesina, spokesperson for the President, “The Economic Advisory Council will advise the President on economic policy matters, including fiscal analysis, economic growth and a range of internal and global economic issues working with the relevant cabinet members and heads of monetary and fiscal agencies. Buhari has also instructed Osinbajo to seek approvals for agencies under his supervision henceforth. Osinbajo is the chairman of the governing boards of the National Emergency Management Agency, the National Boundary Commission, the Border Communities Development Agency and the Niger Delta Power Holding Company Ltd. With the directive, he will now have to seek approvals for contract awards, annual reports, annual accounts, power to borrow, and power to make regulations among other key functions. I will call this function vasectomy. it seems Osinbajo is being stripped of even peripheral responsibilities and consigned to the desk of irrelevance. If this is the case, then it is a ratification of the wild rumour suggesting that he will be kept abridged ahead of the 2023 gladiatorial contest. |
Immabong:I need to understand the mentality that drew up this comparison. Did u even attend primary school? |
True, but the antecedence of such careless attitude from the masses is caused by their predicament birthed by this so-called politician in the past. When they support a lamb for office position suddenly, the lamb metamorphoses into a wolf. You can barely enter his or her offices. what do u expect. Trust is a big concept for Nigerians now. |
I have spent some number of years in SA, believe me when i say that an average south African has Xenophobia.. It's the tendency of extreme fear toward meeting a stranger. I got to know this when i visited a friend in Cape Town. we took out time to hang out in a bar. Some South Africans were sitting with their cohorts, In minute of seeing us , they knew we were foreigners. They were suddenly exposed to this new character. Prior to this, they were calm as a millpond . They broke out in cold sweat as if they just had a bath, their heart raced. It took the intervention of the bar bouncers to whitening their red eyes. Then i realized the deadly effect of xenophobia in South Africa.... I ask myself what could be the reason for this uncultured attitude that can only be ascribe to the plain Indians of ancient primitive societies? I found out that the major causes is economic Distress ....South Africans see foreigners with businesses and they don't know how they got their money. They are full of envy when they see a successful foreigner doing well for themselves. Nigerians are not left out. They are mostly seen with the most beautiful girls and lucrative ventures. If you are in SA and you look successful u are in danger of xenophobia trust me. |

bioman:That's not all true. He could have taken solace in the words of George Bernard Shaw "never to wrestle with pigs, else you get dirty" He could have ended this whole weird act from the moment he discovered that the bae was cheating. Why place himself in so much shame as not to know when to stop. In a battle of who gets the highest level of disgrace, he has enlisted himself as a psycho or an inconsistent guy. He should remember that other ladies are watching.... ... Wife go hard am from this point on |
Apc is at it again, trying to be one step ahead in the political race of relevance. What's is the difference between Wizkid and Davido? The real deal of this is because of what happened in Osun election were Davido pulled a large number of crowd in quest for affiliation with his uncle Adeleke. Apc wants to have a grip on that charisma. All actions and intentions are channeled towards the forthcoming election. |
hisexcellency34:I wonder how some people reason. Why on earth will you think that falling victim of scam is as a result of greed alone. What happens to ignorance, trust. Is it greed also that is making people fall victim of dating scam? Be wholistic else you mess up your contribution |
Abacha again ....... I reserve my comments |
