bionixs: don't know why people make those who pay feel being cheated simply because they CANT pay. it works for me(just for me,don't know about the guy next to me) like fire and I can't stop. Mind you not all who are not paying it, cannot afford but rather one can also look into the angle of earlier personal experience with con men at the pulpit, it makes some develop discomfort for anything tithing and expressing it, is their means of coping. |

Olulinks: Do you know whom Seun is paying his too? If you don't see it doesn't mean it ain't happening. You don see God before? Can you say God doesn't exist because you haven't seen Him before? People give, as in philanthropy and this is so very commendable because you don't have to be of any religious leaning to be a heart that gives. That "paying" in the context of the present teachings is so off, you do not have to "pay" to any religious organization nor religious leader to "sanctify" what from your heart you want to share with others. I find it difficult to reconcile with people who diminish people who have a preference for channeling directly what they want to give back to humanity, convinced that if it not channelled through the Church, it invalidates the giving. |

PrincessMila: I'm currently studying psychology and I don't think I would venture into counseling psychology when I wanna do my masters. We all know Nigerians would rather go to churches or pastors rather than pay to be counselled by a psychologist. If you can give me proof of those actually making it in that, I might buy what you're selling... What is your focus for postgraduate? |
Christianity Etc › Re: Is It A Sin For Women To Wear Trousers? by Pavore9: 9:36am On Feb 17, 2019 |
Sultty: Research or not, but trousers is now considered a man's cloth and skirt and blouse for women so it's better for a Christian to safely abide with it So Christianity should be based on what is "now considered"? So you tell an Irish man to do away with his kilt, which is ingrained in him as his identity because of what? The same Irish who massively propagated Christianity in Africa?

Sultty: Women should not wear men's clothing. That's what my Bible says, so if God does not like it it's better to do as it's said to avoid sin Trousers was never a male clothing, just like skirts is never an exclusive for women. Go research on history. |
