Bros, I have lived and worked in rural areas in the East and can tell you for a fact that families with sons and brothers with such challenges look for a girl who is pregnant or already had a baby to get as a wife, the family bankroll the wedding as they are just looking for a female who would procreate for their son/brother.

Love? Nah! An Igbo girl who at 15 and already with a child in her father's house, is trauma in motion.

You captured what I posted earlier, don't write off a minor because she got pregnant. I have a friend who had her baby at 16 but today she is a senior executive of one of the top class hotels in Kenya, earning top bucks and now married with children.

You are so right, these runners go through rigorous trainings. Runners from Plateau and Taraba stand any chance to compete with East Africans if they are taken to training camps in Kenya and Ethiopia.
