Committee or no committee no free grazing or ranching land in the south east. Anyone who wants land should pay for them.

South Easterners should also look into ranching for beef and milk.

Hope they get restricted to their ranches!

Currently serving in Taraba State, of a truth that Taraba is blessed with land and good soil. Met with a lot of persons on what best to plant and when to plant various seeds such as cucumber and water-melon. People with different discouraging ideas which to a large extent has discouraged me from going further. I want to ask if there is any advice one can offer me here, as am seriously desperate to start something. Your advice will be appreciated.

The market should determine whether you should get involved or not. The crops you are thinking of, where do those who sell them source it from?

You captured my thought! It makes more sense exporting to even other Africa Countries. One needs to go to NAHCO in Lagos to see cargoes awaiting export. Citing Kenya which am attuned to and with a stronger currency do have Nigerians based there importing from Nigeria on weekly basis. Someone on Monday supplied some school supplies produced in Lagos and exported to Kenya, to an upscale Elementary school in Nairobi and a payment of 162,000ksh ($1,600) was made....that is a plus for the business owner and the Nigerian economy.
