MadamExcellency: You mean by making our Honourable Legislators an object of public disgrace on our own soil?
It is not a crime to get mad at US Ambassador in Nigeria for going beyond insanity and accusing the innocent, let alone our congressmen of grievous offense that can tear their families apart and also kill their careers without a slightest evidence than gossips and hearsay. From 1999 till date there is nothing Honourable about our legislators or have we not witnessed physical blows in the chambers or scaling of barrier like garage touts? They have every right to seek legal redress just as l have every right not to feel for them! It is not as if they are in the House for my interest! |

MadamExcellency: Thank Goodness, I have been right from day one.
It takes class and great IQ to know that US Ambassador was telling lies all along. This was a time our Legislators needed us to stand by them - majority failed just because of hatred for Leadership of National Assembly and unwarranted hero worships.
Nigerians are their own worst enemies. The U.S have the right to deny anyone entry into their Country, justified or not! |

“You can’t summon an ambassador to appear before a national institution because he is the head of state of his country where he’s serving, and he enjoys sovereign immunity,” he said. According to him, the act of inviting the US ambassador to appear before the House is actually bringing ridicule to the Nigerian House of Reps and shows a lack of understanding of diplomatic agreement"......in their dimmed minds they thought they could summon anyone! |

misterjosh: Some niqqas just come on here, and anything they see here is divine. If you're waiting for his source, then you're in for a long wait. I have farmed rice in Anambra State and have a very good idea of the landscape, just wanted to know if he has verifiable data to back his claim because I know Mashegu, which is just a local government in Niger State is 9,182 km² While the entire Anambra State is 4,844 km² so am trying to wrap my head around his claim that Anambra produces more rice than the North! |

AustineE1: you must be high on cheap drugs! The last time i checked, Anambra produces more rice than all the states in the North with the exception of Kebbi,Anambra grows high quality vegetables and are some times exported to Europe, not to mention Ebonyi which is in a class of its own in agriculture. Left for Plateau,Benue and Taraba which are largerly agrarian states and are known as the greater middle-beltan states and not core North. You wld agree with me that the North lost it the very time the groundnut pyramids of Kano disappeared. Katsina can only boast of their cows, which are even fed in the hinterlands of the South. "The last time i checked, Anambra produces more rice than all the states in the North with the exception of Kebbi".....Please where did you check it? I need to work with that data as l know Mashegu, which is just one local government area in Niger State is 9,182 km² while the entire Anambra State is 4,844 km² and will want to know how they edged out all the states in the North to be top rice producer in Nigeria. |

Luxxycool: This is long overdue, I hope in the nearest future, someone working in Lagos would be able to comfortably leave his house in Oshogbo and get to work in good time like its been done in some places in the world thereby reducing the pressure and stress of living in Lagos and other cities in the country. That would certainly lessen the pressure on Lagos if people can get to live in the surrounding states and take a fast moving train ride to work daily. |

Connoisseur: For every rule, there is a blind spot. What you ate not doing is informal export because everybody knows everybody in the supply chain. Your contact take goods to ask agent, you pick up from the agent's warehouse.
Now factor in this scenario, a buyer in a country even you didn't know existed wants goods you could arrange, you don't have a contact person in Nigeria, nor an agent's warehouse in the country. How do you do these goods and expect to receive payments without proper documentation. Now that's the formal export and that's what the opposite was referring to. Even though anyone can get documentations without an agent like the op. I took care of view where in my first post where l noted "One does not need a CAC registration and Export license for everything exported out of the Country". For a new territory one needs the paper works. |

Syrine22: Sir the cocoa powder i am talking about is nafdac approved...the company i am buying from already got a nafdac number for the powder... Then that NAFDAC number should appear on the product. I import cocoa powder from Nigeria and know what is expected when it comes to certification and packaging. |

dav8id: one need it if he or she really want to take exportation as a business and to the higher level
I know there are some kind of small quantity of produce one can export without all those document but any business is suppose to grow from small to bigger ..
again must of the buyers now demand for documents before they can even discuss with you.. Goods worth tens of millions of Naira are air cargoed weekly from Lagos to Kenya without any documentation involved just as long as what is being exported is not contraband. Go to NAHCO shed at the airport and see the agents who are into it. I facilitate goods being brought in from Lagos to Nairobi, l have my contact person in Lagos drop the goods with the agent at the airport before Saturday of every week and once the goods are verified as not contraband, N520 is paid per kilo then the next Wednesday l go to the shop of the Nigerian agent in Nairobi to pick up the goods after paying the agent $2.20 per kilo for clearance. |

Few weeks ago, i contacted him that a client of mine needed chilli pepper which he claimed to have. 700kg was bought according to what he told my client. When the chilli pepper arrived, my client weighed it and behold it was less than 200kg. He earned me a bad name. This is aside lying that he transferred any commission to me. I av neva heard such lies and deceit from anyone before. Am saying this to everyone to watch out and stay clear. or check properly if u must do business with him. Happy sales to everyone. What was his response regarding the underweight of the pepper supplied? |

bezimo: I also do not live in Nigeria presently, I live in a country that utilizes revenue from oil, that I am not affected by the situation presently in Nigeria doesnt mean It wont bother me. I should be bothered because of friends and family who are affected by Buhari stupidity and refusal to dialogue.. Nothing l say changes anything...........time and hindsight bares the right path. |
Politics › Re: First Crude Oil Lift From Aje Field FPSO Due In August – Panoro Energy by Pavore9: 6:34pm On Jul 21, 2016 |
bezimo: Unfortunately, Nigerian economy has depended fully on the oil obtained from the ND and that is not about to change anytime soon, It is without doubt that the past GEJ government did little for the region, but a Buhari led govt came onboard, instead of consolidating the gains of the past administration as regards promoting development in the region, it decided to reverse the gains made and antagonize the region through his ill conceived statements, intentions and decisions. The result is what we see today with the Nigerian economy been the bigger loser.
The question of wasnt there a better way to go about it, offcourse there was, but the Nigerian environment or politicians do not understand the language of dialogue and negotiation but violence, more so when, you have a daft and illiterate bigot as president such as Buhari. You would agree that if a Yaradua was president in this situation, he would have since stepped in to negotiate and dialogue because he is wise. Dialogue is the keyword as it cuts off unnecessary incidents. I live in Nairobi, though Kenya has discovered oil but not gotten to the stage of lifting it but have clearly said they will never make the mistake Nigeria made....abandoning all else because of oil. Despite not having earned a dollar from crude oil, it is unfortunate to say that the Kenyan economy is more stable than ours despite the fact one has to pay N300 per litre for petrol and 16% VAT. Nigeria needs restructuring in the way it defines nationhood. |

bezimo: Is that really a question? Did you just relocate to Nigeria. Is it not a common knowledge that the Maritime University situated in the ND which had initially been initiated by the GEJ government was cancelled by the useless Buhari led Govt or you are not aware. That should then lead to blowing up of pipelines? Just wished they are also infuriated as much towards the bare faced looting their own kinsmen in various levels of government in the last 17 years have perpetuated at the expense of the development of the region. It is only those who are fixated on oil that thinks there is no life outside it but my personal good news is that my life is rolling so far from it. l laugh at politicians and their cronies who are addicted to the free money oil have provided them! |
