[quoteauthor=rareman]Wow! Bro is this happening in Nigeria? To think that we waste this opportunity in the east is quite disheartening, time to re plan ones strategy.Keep it flowing am in on this Goat and Cow thing no going back[/quote]Am in Kenya. |
You are right with the upgrading as l was told something similar at the goat diary farm. |
Hian! l be think say Horoho na one Delta woman! |
lt messed me up here in Nairobi in February, Barclay said l should contact my Nigeria bank which l did after filling forms & sending it back, l was told it would take 45days to resolve because it is an international issue, it was reversed after 68 days! |
Blockus: The same one that warned Samson not to fhucks with Delilah.. #Well, Samson was like; 'God is Old school and does not understand Love'.. Well, look at how that worked out for Samson.Goodluck to ur belief. |
Blockus: Then you dont know the Bible or you worship a different God.Which Bible do you read that promotes division and hatred? |
Blockus: Then you dont know the Bible or you worship a different God.So marrying from outside one's tribe is a crime? So the phone you are using is made by your tribesman? |
Blockus: WOW! Too Pretty! Why did that other one go and Marry an Infidel from the tribe of the Phillistines?God created no lnfidel! |
ojeffo: Oya naa....I have nyashed her...she has a delicious PUCISighs.... |
lt is payback. |
34 already! Bros, when are you getting married? |
Peter no show face! Na 1-1....Singing Psquare's do me, l do you, God no go vex... |
Some big boyz now have a pool from where to pick their wives from....ask Jude Okoye! |
Na wife o! it is d lesser of d 2 evils. His kids are guaranteed of a more comfortable life. He can later set up something for his brother from his wife's salary. lf d brother gets d job & one chick from nowhere starts giving him "ideas" na gobe o! |
Tallesty1: They don't use pepper??They don't! |
Tallesty1: I ll spit 4 days if I eat such food. Then it means if u live in Kenya and eating their food you will spilt forever! |
kingsolve: Hi people, please I need help on where to get water melo seeds for planting, and how it is planted and nurtured to maturity. Can someone plese help me out with this info? Thankscheck at www.premier-seeds.com |
The growing interest in Agriculture by Nairalanders is a good indicator. The piggeries, poultries, fish ponds, agro processing centres being discussed & set up is going a long way in reducing food importation! |
lt depends on the people involved. |
following.... |
l did watch her perform live on #The Trend last friday on NTV & on Churchhill Show on sunday, she did wow d kenyan audience with her performance of kedike. she talk say Kenyans guys are too forward as against Nigerian guys who will come as friends. |
felixzo1: that quite nice oooh. i wonder if we hv a market for goat milk here in nigeriaOf course the market is there especially women who will love to bathe with it! Goat milk is expensive, l get it here for N390 per litre! |
l did visit a goat diary farm run by some Reverend Sisters, they are stocked with German Alpine & Toggenburg breeds, about 47 in all. Each goat produces an average of 5.25litre of milk daily! They use it in their hospital for their patients. |
@felixzo1, which local breed of goat produces high quantity of milk? |
lndeed research is very key. Get as much information as you can regarding whatever u want to venture into. l have in mind to go into cultivating strawberry, capsicum & butternut squash when l get back to Nigeria, so am understudying farms in Kenya. |
Look at d issue of butternut squash which is a 3 month crop & very expensive @ Shoprite, anyone who can cultivate it right in Lagos wit proper practices will make it big! lt was one of d crops d Zimbabwe farmers focused on when they came to Nigeria. |
@jethro2, thanks for d highlight on standards. Even for farmers here in Kenya to supply fruits & vegetables to supermarkets, d supermarket fresh food division must come inspect ur farm, type of fertilizer used, source of water etc b4 any negotiation! |
You had earler mentioned Namibia & zimbabwe which are far off from Nigeria by road & moreover d pricing of the fruits & vegetables u listed are not competitive in comparison to kenya. The Cabbage u buy for N200 in Lagos, l buy for N45 in Nairobi! |
Co-incidentally l live in Kenya you mentioned and also do know that 60% of the fresh flowers sold in Europe is imported from kenya & Nigeria imports flowers from Europe which was earlier exported by Kenya! The infastructure is just not available! |
Ogbeche77: Lol.. So true.. Even in churches, beer is served as beverage.. Anyone who doesn't drink beer in Bavaria is regarded as abnormal...Kenyans will love to be there! They can drink for Africa! |
@felixzo1, u captured d taste right! l buy 4litres every 2 days from d milk dispensing machine for N500, already milk factory processed, ready 2 drink. Powdered milk is expensive in kenya, twice d price in Nigeria. l buy a litre of goatmilk for N195 |
blink182: what is the taste of fresh milk like? Do you think there'll be a market for it in Nigeria?Taste so natural unlike those tinned & powdered milk! lt will sell well in Nigeria, selling it with milk dispensing machine. |
