He mentioned that he got a career job, don't you think it would be wise for him to do the job for a couple of years and go on study leave? After working in a professional outfit in canada for 5+ yrs I can categorically tell you that career jobs are difficult to come by.

Exactly what i wanted to say , guys if you have job that pays you above 200k please just stay back in naija . he no easy for Canada oooooo......even if you get the career job here its still no easy ooooo .

Thats the detail below. Applied 14th of march and did Bio metric on the 16th march ,application approved for collection on the 23rd of march for my mum and dad.

I applied for my parent for my convocation and they got the visa in one week.What will you like to know ?

must one pay for a return air ticket while going for a year or 2 studies and how frequently or easily the airline sell a one way ticket and what are the conditions.?

You can buy just one way as long as you are going for studying .i got one way ticket from KLM and Emirate .

@Tnuola..I can only speak of my sch cos I have done extensive research..For eg, u can have 1-2 hours of lecture in a whole day..Max u can have is 4hrs..which is very rare, maybe once a week or in 2 weeks..There are some days u are free..So tell me why a PG student won't work?So if u work for another 4hrs a day and leave the remainder hours for course work and all, is it bad?

Sounds doable and easy but don't forget that for part-time job you will probably receive minimum wage or maximum 14/hr and also most time you might not even find job that will fit your school schedule.

I would never agree or advice anyone who doesn't have their complete tuition for the duration of their studies to travel, with the hope of working to make up for it, inside assignments, course work and projects, where's the time to work, one can't even work more than 20hrs/week. He go chop and still pay bills, uni of waterloo is prolly over 15k/year. So I dnt know how he will work and schl and still finish a 2year prog in 1year.

I just think Its not fair to make pple think its easy to make money while u school, esp enough money to pay tuition.

You are very much correct! you can only work to pay for feeding and board but not tuition...

8 months study period in ON is suicide for PR, but if that's all u got then i will advice u run to Alberta.

Wow congratulations for been accepted into the best college in Alberta. Woo-hoo. You must be very smart. First things first you have to pay the $250 to secure you seat in the program, have you? FYI: if you are starting in Sept the last day to pay tuition is August 4, 2015. My cousin also got admitted and I'm help him with the movement.
Second, you would have to apply for visa, this might for be daunting for you because you have to go back to part 7 and read to ascertain the necessary documents. Once u done reading gather ur documents and apply for visa. If u have specific questions at that time you can come back and ask them on this platform.

SAIT is good,my sister is coming to SAIT too for fall semester, you have to hurry with you document gathering.I went to NAIT

Yet the witches persisted Much.

I cried, cried and cried, then I started attacking people (that's Esther though)

My dear please compare standard of living. U will be making money here and spending it here and not naija Eg house girl in naija 10-20k a month, live in care giver here minimum $1600 a month, think am how u go pay house girl over 200k lol. Anywayz make I focus on helping students. I can go all day. Naija is still the best trust me

@mevisbleek for sure Naija is the best but don't forget that even the rich suffer in Naija,U look 45 yrs when you are 35 years because everything is stress.

I would advice you use travelers hostel, search for hostel in the province you are going and pay for the your reservation.its more realistic for temporary accommodation.

NEVER! It's absolutely impossible for them to confirm someone's account balance from the bank. It's not done. Take ur mind from that. Only authorised government personnel can do that in cases of fraud, money.laundering, n related crime.

During my brother application two year ago , CIC Called the bank to confirm the bank statement,was told by my dads account officer.I think it was just to confirm the authenticity of the bank statement not the balance in the account .

Make a colored copy of the certificate, notarize and send it to your school, scan and email to them and tell them the original of the notarized copy will be sent to the Graduate school physical address. You can't give them originals of your documents.

Dont think scanned copy will be accepted , just like he said.Make a colored photocopy of your original certificate, notarize it and mail it to them using the post office .That was what i did.

I had sent them a copy via mail but they rejected it . Any pointers anyone?

Send them a certified true copy, had the same issue when i did admission application for a friend in NAIT. Was asked to bring original certificate but i used certified true copy and that worked out fine .

So go to high court and get it done .

Please a question for those that have traveled to Canada and collected their study permit at the point of entry before, where you ask to present any additional documents aside your POE letter of introduction, passport, letter of acceptance by the Canada Border officer before giving your study permits?

I read somewhere that we will still be ask to present other documents like proof of funds e.t.c...are we to show the statement of account we used to get TRV? please those people that goes through the process before should kindly help me share their experience...thank you

During my entry at the POE i was asked for proof of fund after presenting my LOA and TRV with my passport, luckily for me I still had my sponsor original bank statement which i used for my study permit application. I advice you keep this on you when travelling .

most times embassy requesting for this when u receive letter to go for medicals , like my brother when he received letter to go for medicals , he was asked to submit it with one year accommodation fee and one year tuition fees. when u get to this stage just that know ur study permit will soon get to u ...

a lot of peeps did apply 4 visa using unrelated sponsor, declare the sponsor as a relation(uncle,aunt,e.t.c) and get the right doc. you are good to go, pls use Online ! we don dey many 4 lambton college ITPP

ChriGo: .....this is cool...also heading to lambton college..ITPP winter session....u said u just applied?....have u been given ur offer letter with conditional 1st tuition payment......ur case isn't the 1st...alot of peeps did apply 4 visa using unrelated sponsor....all u need do is follow the visa requirement and ofcourse spice it up with a good sponsorship letter,good SOP,affidavit of support and prayers.....these items are the main venum when using sponsors with diff surname....and i think its better to declare the sponsor as a relation(uncle,aunt,e.t.c)....someone with a better experience would respond to ur question.....
