Its a little bit complicated as noone really did but a series of events happened and communications got a bit tense.  Noone really asked for space or time apart.  Its just the last conversations were not so good and its been a week since they happened so its probably time to move on as it doesn't look like he wants us to fix it.  He has to be the one to break silence as he said some things which means he has to break it and he hasn't.  So its time to move on I can't keep crying over the same man and the same problem.   If he doesn't want us to sort it out, its better to leave it and move on with my life.  I think I will be single for a while now, focus on myself a bit.

PLS SOMEONE URGENTLY COME TO MY AID. I TRIED REINSTALLING WIN XP SP2 ON A CELERON LAPTOP. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE INSTALLATION COULDN'T BE COMPLETED COS IT STOPPED AT THE COPYING FILES STAGE. NOW I'M TRYING TO RESTART THE SYSTEM AND I'M GETTING A BLACK SCREEN WITH A COMMAND PROMPT AFTER THE INTIAL POST DISPLAY.
I ACTUALLY FORMATTED THE HARD DRIVE BUT THE CHALLENGE IS THAT IF I BUT AN OS IN THE CD DRIVE IT DOESN'T GIVE ME THE OPTION OF "press an key to start from CD/DVDdrive"

Was just about going out when i saw this, ok i have to make this very quick. leave the Os disk in turn off the laptop please
back on again and keep pressing f2, delete or F1 until you come to a Bios screen look for boot/device piority change it and make sure the CD/DVD Drive is set first then The HDD second. make sure there no pheripherals attach to your laptop such as printer, usb stick etc as can halt the installation. then Press F10 safve changes and exit it should now prompt you to press any key. if not turn it off please and try again

Also make sure you are using lincence os cd not a counterfeit because it wont work. Good luck!

I'm still getting the same message. again! why is this happening is just annoying. I didnt post spam or do anything wrong. am just sick and tired of this happening. not able to see it .ok ,here what you need to do.

1.Click on Start and then Control Panel.

Tip: In a hurry? Type system in the search box after clicking Start. Choose System from the list of results and then skip to Step 4.

2.Click on the System and Maintenance link.

Note: If you're viewing the Classic View of Control Panel, you won't see this link. Simply double-click on the System icon and proceed to Step 4.

3.Click on the System link.

4.In the task pane on the left, click the Advanced system settings link.

5.Locate the Startup and Recovery area and click on the Settings button.

6.In the Startup and Recovery window, locate and uncheck the check box next to Automatically restart.

7.Click OK in the Startup and Recovery window.

8.Click OK in the System Properties window.

9.You can now close the System window.

10.From now on, when a problem causes a BSOD or another major error that halts the system, the PC will not automatically reboot. Rebooting manually will be necessary. doing this will enable you to see what behind the blue screen

This is deji2009 sorry for the late reply. my account has been blocked and dont know why, temporary using my girlfriend account have notified the moderators however. ok since norton is not going off. then you need to burn the removal tool unto a cd by accessing another internet computer

ok, am not sure what version of internet browsers you"re using . but just look at the top of that page you should see some options like view or page and then you can change the text size. if you"re using a pc try holding down Ctrl and scrolling with your mouse either way or tell me what version of IE you"re using by looking fot help, about internet explore tell me if version 6 7 or 8

@t1m1 how do you know it was caused by sentinel.sys ? well, BSOD should look like this. it would helpful if you can post us the actual error mesage. x
