Nice try Mr Deputy Governor. At least you need not have worried about being able to sleep since your conscience has been sleeping for 18 months. You can lie all you want but I know two things are involved: 1. Being sidelined by Amaechi as the successor. 2. Your well known ties to Uche Secondus (PDP Dep. National Chair) You can add the power of money if you wish. |
![]() Mr Gafaru, it is well oo |
Canme4u:Sorry bro, please which Barr. Muheeden Olagunju? Is he the one that read Law at OAU from Oyo town? |
midolian:I didn't know you were mad that he made uncomplimentary remarks about your Jagaban. I thought you made an innocent assertion that Okupe is new to politics which I simply corrected. If you had read what I wrote very well, you would understand that they started politics about the same time - 1989-1993 and was even a governorship aspirant in NRC (before he did same in PDP and lost to Gbenga Daniel in the primaries) while Tinubu contested as a senator in Lagos. If you like, call it ITK, i'm sure many would have benefited from the info. |
midolian:You obviously need a lesson in political history. Doyin Okupe was a notable member of NRC between 1989-1993. He was a former Governorship aspirant of PDP in Ogun State and SSA Media to Obasanjo between 1999-2003. Don't bother to thank me... Just adding to our knowledge. |
Cheers to all the posters. I have had a good laugh on this thread. |
babaolofin:I will disagree with two things here. 1. You do not have any proof that David Mark hates Yoruba with cruel hatred. His Chief of Staff of so many years is Kola Ologbodiyan- a Yoruba guy. On Mrs Osomo's case, you know how Obasanjo can be once his made his made up over any issue. She just had to go. Blame OBJ instead and not David Mark. 2. You preference for Young Alhaji and Onoja may just be because of your dislike for David Mark. Onoja is also a product of the military. He does not have any record of humanitarian service. He only decamped to ACN/APC because of political machinations working against him. Young Alhaji is also a believed in some quarters to be a man of questionable wealth. P.S I do not know David Mark or anyone working for him directly or indirectly and I am not holding any brief for him. Just adding to our knowledge. |
Lemme add a few more Onlytruth Dayokanu Becomerich AKA Musiwa AKA... the only descendant of Oduduwa and the emperor of Western Nigeria. @OP:You left out our legitimate emperor. How could you not notice the similarity in altitude ![]() Jakumo |
Thank God. Truth has triumphed over falsehood at last. |
@OP Dr. Who Last time I checked, he was a general.@Mods: scam detected. Viewers beware! |
madgoat:Yeah, due to 1994-95 ASUU strike, most of those who wrote 1995 JAMB were admitted in 1997. |
What a thread! I really liked the way Sweetlemon bared it all. We all desire to see our nation prosper and I admit that the present occupier of Aso Rock has not really done well. In fact, he seems to have been saddled with a responsibility greater than his ability. But those who are willing to die for him deserve to have their preference known. On the other hand, those who want him replaced too deserve to make their opinions known. What i cannot stand is the bitterness behind the whole charade. They have pulled down our playhouse (Nairaland) because of their pecuniary interests. You can not fail to notice that they have reduced Nairaland to the battle ground to wage their propaganda war. It is so bad that you can barely read an opinion that has not been bought in the Politics section these days. I know so many of you will still deny it but we know you. Just kontinuu u hear! |
where can i get this werepe? Don't think its available so cheaply like in those days |
Olaone1:Very hilarious |
ntyce:Hilarious |
fasbat:"...defeated with superior argument"? I'm familiar with that crappy line. I do not have the patience to respond to all posts because my life isn't tied to Nairaland and I'm not paid to post unlike some of you. I have no apology for calling you out! There is nothing on this thread to warrant the unecessary adulation of Tinubu for imposing Ambode on Lagosians yet again. More so, the same Ambode has not demonstrated anything so far in the debates that he is head and shoulder above his closest challenger. Yes, I'm unapologetic about it. There are so many of you APC e-rodents and PDP e-maggots with odious characters and you believe the world should revolve around you. He might not have been convicted by a compentent law court, but he is a condemned felon in the moral court. If not for anything else, have you forgotten he still has a case to answer for perjury? In saner climes, people like Tinubu would be doing times behind the bars. But, this is Nigeria where everything goes. With people like you idolizing him, he might even go to his grave without answering to any of his crimes. How hypocrtitical can we be? I am not a groupie and I will never bow to your graven image. Your hero is not my hero. |
SirShymex:@SirShymex Bros, dem never give us Ijebu state... ![]() |
fasbat:Abeg, go siddon. Another APC e-rodent masquerading as an objective poster. Most of you will never see anything wrong with Tinubu even if he turns your whole generations to peasants in his fiefdom. You have been condemned to lick his arseee because of the crumbs you pick from his table. Ole alatenu'je. Awon omo at'oko waba ile je. |
I knew Professor Sonaiya at OAU. She was a lecturer in my faculty and she was always dressed in those fabulous afro-centric attires. Her husband was a Deputy VC at some point I think and also lost the VC election to Prof. Rogers Makanjuola. Her husband was reputed to be the youngest professor then at the faculty of Agriculture. Back then, I knew her two kids studying at Ife- a cool guy and a sweet girl. They were quiet and easy going. |
It seems this OP stole my profile to write this. Nothing is more annoying than the violent manners of the pro-APC hordes. I was the lone campaigner for Buhari in 2011 amidst my friends. But the table has turned and I'm seeing a fanatic followership which needs to be put in check if we all mean well for this nation. Just like the OP, I can never take GMB's anti-corruption crusade serious this time because he is swimming with sharks - oju yobo and co I really wish Jonah had performed better. |
I haven't posted on Nairaland for a while but this really got to me. Like someone rightly observed about the movie, "Beautiful Mind", the writer like the character might be having some disorderliness. That explains why he could go to the length he has mentioned. I have also confirmed some of the names he mentioned and I'm certain he'd have had encounters with them but maybe not in the proportions he claimed. I have met about three people in real life who are suffering from these delusions. In fact, there was one on FB claiming to be a target of one of Nigeria's biggest pentecostal pastors. May God help the OP. |
@OP: Please send to labi2k2@yahoo.com |
marinaosoba:Ok, we have heard. Can you please tell Ambode that he should go and contest in Ondo state when Mimko finishes his tenure? I am from Epe and I detest the fact that he is claiming to be from Epe to realize his ambition. He might have bought over Animashaun and other Epe chiefs with his ill-gotten wealth but some of us are not for sale. |

Great Is Thy Faithfulness Thomas Chisholm – 1925 Great Is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father! There is no shadow of turning with Thee; Though changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be. Refrain: Great Is Thy faithfulness, Great Is Thy faithfulness, Morning by morning new mercies I see; All I have needed Thy hand hath provided Great is Thy Faithfulness, Lord unto me! Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above, Join with all nature in manifold witness To Thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. Refrain Pardon for Sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide, Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside! Refrain |

Hmmm...another sad reminder. I was in 200 Level. I escaped death by the whiskers as I had just left Awo Cafe when they struck. |
Lagos East is now the beautiful bride. |
His assertions might be true but he lacked tact. He could have simply used a pseudonym. |
