Definitely Yates is qualified for the position. But, personally, I’d prefer Monaco only because she won’t have any baggage from Trump’s controversies and the accompanying Russia investigation.

The thing is that it is not 100% certain that McConnell will remain majority leader after January 6 because the Senate could end up in a 50-50 split, especially if the GOP turnout in the Georgia runoffs plummet way below the general election levels.

So, the chances of a Susan Rice confirmation in a 50-50 senate is like 120%, when you consider the fact that it would be VP Harris that would cast any potential tie-breaking vote

Yes, if there is a split decision among the court of appeals, the US Supreme Court may then decide to her a case.
Also, if the case is decided against either party at the court of appeals (without a conflicting ruling in another circuit) the US Supreme Court could hear it. A minimum of four Supreme Court justices have to approve to hear the case before the full SC hears it

You can appeal a normal case for a multitude of reasons, simple legal error, ineffective counsel, improper instructions etc. when a case is dismissed with prejudice, the rules regarding an appeal are much stricter.
If you have the same garbage evidence that a judge dismissed the first time, an appeals court WILL NOT even take it up.

As for the bolded portion, the election authorities in Pennsylvania were ALREADY segregating the ballots that arrived after 8pm on Election Day.
And those ballots were NOT added to the current vote totals in the state. Even if they were added, those ballots won’t dent Biden’s lead in the state.

With regard to your other point on the certification of Georgia’s votes coming with a “caveat”, you couldn’t be more factually wrong. As long as the votes are certified, any extemporaneous speech by the Governor or some other state official is basically meaningless.
Yes, Governor Kemp, being a supporter of Trump, has the right to express his sadness on Trump’s loss; but so long as the results are certified, NO court will create a “expressed doubt” exception to the existing election rules.
