This was so easy to understand. You're absolutely right. It's easy to learn to speak any language. Writing is completely different especially when the said language don't use Latin alphabets
Noooo, this was not easy to me embarassed
And I don't think speak Japanese is easy.
Speak Japanese for friends or close peoples, maybe not difficult.
But speak Japanese to friends and speak Japanese to elderly peoples, at work place etc, that's different.

The bolded, true. I only know how to speak and understand a bit but once I come across the kanji or katakana form of writing, I switch off. I have only been able to understand a bit of some like ichi, ni, san, yon, go, roku, nana, hachi, kyuu, juu and desu, n. If written in romaji, I can translate a bit. eg: Boku no namae wa Biosys desu. Nijeiria shussin desu!

Maybe I'll learn the writings after learning how to speak. grin

The police really needs to do something about these "hentai" (perverts in English). Especially the ones I hear that harass women on trains.
They are trying!
Not every train, But polices are inside train sometimes.
Peoples will not know they are police.
Because they don't wear police uniform.

I had Hentai experience.
But I still have not that kind of experience.
I really can't understand Hentai.
They should go to sexual place.

Its always good to want to know why and have good closure,
I read your story from beginning, I think there was a Time he loved you, but just like you said you also treated him bad,

Most men would really value a peaceful woman than the one providing money, and you were not giving him money either and he would have divorced you if he wanted just passport,

I'm igbo and I will tell you this, he will still value you at least for the daughter you have for him, igbos don't play with thier children.

I will advice you tell him that found his Nigerian wife and daughter and everything he has,

Then hear his approach and reply atleast he wont have to secretive about anything.

But he will still care for you because of his child you have.
Thank you so much for taking your time for reading!
I appreciate you!!

Yes, I was a bad wife.
I don't know if I'm a good wife or bad wife now.
Maybe I'm still a bad wife. But I'm trying!

I talked with him at last night.
He heard me.
He said if I wanna believed what I saw it, I can believe it and it's ok for him.
But He denied it. He said he is not married with anybody and He don't have any kids.

I even sent him what I saw it.
Because I wanted him to see it by himself.
He checked it and told me that one of pictures with woman is a truly him.
And that woman writing "he is a my partner" and something more.
He also read it.

About company, I think anybody can easily to see their name on internet.
I don't know why I didn't see it until now.
There is clearly writing both their name.
Her name is same his name and I knew her name. Her name was not that name before.

He thought I can't understand if he explained to me about what I saw it.
Because I'm a not Nigerian.
But he told me, he explained to me and I'm trying to understand. Little bit difficult to me. But I'm trying.

I don't have a his kid.
I already have a kid before I met him.
I was a single mother. My marriage with him is my first marriage.
He always saying my kid is a his kid.
So, my kid is a our kid.
I really appreciate him.

If he is married with other woman, that's crime in my country.
I can't support any crime.
But that kind of things like he married with other woman or he cheated on me etc, can't change my mind.
Can't change our relationship.
I still wanna be with him and I still wanna trust him.

But I think I have trust issues.
Because I always say I'm trusting him, but many many times I also dubt him at same time.
That means I maybe not truly trust him.
That's why I believed what I saw before I talked with him.

He took time for me at last night.
I was really hurt and emotionally.
But he never ever get angry. He just heard me.
We didn't have argument. Just talking, talking and talking.

But I don't know why always this same woman.
He said cousin.
This is really hardly to understand me.

Anyway, Thank you so much!
Our relationship can't break easily!
We will get more old together! smiley
I really appreciate you!!

Yes, I've confirmed it. You are Japanese. I don't hate Japanese people or Japan. Though they have their own issues like sexual abuse, they're still honest and really kind. In addition to this, the country is so safe. The idiot that killed shinzo Abe had to make his gun. That is a sign of a safe society to me.

However, understand that many of us that are Nigerians simply want to escape because the county has nothing for us, and we can't just go somewhere just because it is cool and safe. We need to improve ourselves, which means we need work. The majority of jobs for foreigners in Japan are teaching jobs. I'm not really sure about software development though. This isn't really favourable for most of us. But to anyone who wants to move there simply out of his open love for the place, you can start now to learn the language.

Thank you.
Hello, LienwaltAbel san!

Yes, Japan have many issues.
My opinion is no countries are perfect just like humans. No one is perfect.
Japan and Japanese peoples are not perfect.
We have a lot of issues.

Oh.... No....
Yes! sexual abuse... Many many Hentai in here.
Very disgusting!

Thank you so much for your kind words about Japanese peoples! I appreciate you!!

I'm still sad about Abe san.
To me, I'm feeling like Japan is no more safe.
I think many Japanese peoples are feeling like this now.
Many many bad things happened. Every day have bad news.
Maybe because I have never been to another countries that's why I can easily to have this kind of feel.
And I have some Hentai experience like someone chased me, someone entered my house to stolen my lingeries, someone came to around my house every 2 or 3 months to peeping my house, someone hiding and doing masterbate on the street to showed me what he is doing etc.
I don't remember how many times I called police to help.
Only this my experience making me here is not safe.

I think I'm getting to understand than before!
Thank you so much!

One of interesting about "country has nothing for us" is some Japanese peoples are also saying like that.
Like they said "Japan is world ATM", "Japanese government is very kind for foreigners or other countries, But ignoring own citizens", "throw a lot of our money (tax) for helping other countries, But don't wanna help own peoples" etc.

Yes, I think so, not easy for foreigners to get work especially permanent work in here.
But like my prefecture have assist for foreigners who wanna start business in here.
I'm checking about it now.
Not from overseas, for someone who is already living here and have visa.
Of course they have some requirements.

Anyway, Thank you so much for taking your time!
I really appreciate you!
And I'm very sorry for I maybe misunderstood you. I'm apologies you.

@Peacefull, hope you're doing OK in Japan? I've been off this forum for a couple of days now to reflect.

That's a great feedback from you. smiley

You forgot the popular Japanese words Taikun, Sudoku, and Kamikaze... those words too are now in use in English language. Taikun is spelled Tycoon in English language. grin

You know what? There's a great American entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker by the name of Jim Rohn (September 17, 1930 – December 5, 2009) who said and wrote before he died few years ago that all of us on the face of the planet have about 500 unique skills that we can individually pursue in life. Yeah! That's 500 unique skills that we are inherently blessed with.

Some folks left high school and/or college without completing their programs and have CONTRIBUTED MORE to humunity that any other guys out there. They have gone on to become great in terms of CREATING WEALTH and EMPOWERING others to do the same! Some people are better at painting pictures today than becoming scientists or University professors or academics. This is why it is very good for parents to find out what their children LOVE TO DO and then work with professional Career and Guidance Councillors to help these children to determine what they can do as future careers. NOT everyone can be in the STEM career fields.

Yeah @Peaceful, my father bought a lot of books and encyclopedia for the family library as far back as the 1970s and beyond, so I grew up reading widely and I have my father to thank for stimulating the reading skills in me. I also learned drawing skills by looking at pictorial books. I learned from those books and I encourage parents to buy books and CD-ROMS or multi-media encyclopedia for their children of the 21st Century, so that the kids too can get curious about the REST OF THE WORLD and unleash their talents. I loved picture books too just like you but loved reading the large volumes of encyclopedia in my family library as well!

Reading about the rest of the world and peoples and cultures as a child back in the day enabled me to gravitate towards an international career path today, which also enables me to travel internationally.

Oh Wow! smiley It's good to know that while your child was in Junior High School, he or she was exposed to 15 minutes of reading without picture books. It stimulates the logical and creative sides of the brain. Your child should be like 18 years old now I assume since he is done with Junior High School.

Last but not least, yes... I love reading a vast array of news from around the world including Japanese news published online by Japanese English language newspapers. Hello, AlphaTaikun san!

Wow! Many Japanese words are using in English!
I have checked about "Taikun" and "Tycoon" after I read this your comment.
Thank you so much!
I learned new things from you again.
I appreciate you!

And Thank you so much for your kind!
You are teaching me many things.
I really appreciate you!

I know peoples who dropped out school is different reasons.
In my case, I was so lazy about study.
I didn't like study and I didn't take serious about study.
I was a not good student in school.
I broke many many school rules like ignored how to wear school uniform, escaped lessons, smoking inside school's toilet, cheated in the exam, didn't go to school, slept during lesson etc.
And I repeat a year, then I got pregnant.
But I'm still believing that I was a not bad girl.

I'm not ashamed about myself.
But I know if I said I'm not ashamed, some peoples say "loser" (me) saying something and laughing at me.
Oh! of course sometimes I'm still wondering and asking myself why I didn't study well?
But I still believing that nothing late to challenge somethings.
Not late to learning.

In here, many peoples are easily judging other peoples. Easily to rating other peoples.
Like If someone who don't have permanent work after graduated university, they are low level person.
Someone graduated university, but if that university is not top level of school, some peoples say that school is third rate school, some peoples are even said if anybody can write their name, anybody can enter that third rate school. Is like they are saying that kind of school is worthless school and anybody who enter that kind of school is meaningless or nonsense.

Many things like that.
Low level, loser, worthless school, worthless work, nonsense etc.
AlphaTaikun san maybe already know about that kind of 'judging" and "rating" sometimes or I maybe can say many times, making peoples to hurt. Making peoples to depression in here.
So, if always take peoples "rating" seriously, not good for mental health.
Some peoples rating other peoples are low level or loser, looked down on them, then they are making their feel good.

I agreed with you!
I love this your word, "Help these children to determine".
I really love it!

I'm really interesting about your family library.
I really enjoyed read about it!
My mom like reading books. Sometimes she still buying and reading novels.
She has favorite novelist. And she is reading news paper every day!
One day, maybe 2 years ago, she showed me one article from her news paper.
That article was about Nigeria and President Buhari san.
Whenever she saw news about Nigeria, she always called me and informed me.
If that was not good news, she always worry about my husband's family in Nigeria.

Traveling many countries, Please AlphaTaikun san! Please I wanna ask you!
Have you ever been to Japan?
I like to know!

Oh! My kid is 24 years now.
Forever my kid, But already adult! smiley
I'm dropped out high school and became to teenage single mother.
I have learned about many many peoples hate single mothers on this website.

Anybody who knows about society in Japan very well, I think they can very easily to understand why I'm a low level person and loser in here.

Wow!! seems like that pocket translators are working very well.
These days are really getting to very convenient! I really can't keep up with the times embarassed

Yes, Yesss! Very cool device! smiley

I watched this news!
Oh! We really watched same news! cheesy
I didn't know they have English news too.
I know some TV news have English news.
But I didn't know this TV news also have English news.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate you!!
And same to you! Have a grate and wonderful time with your family and friends! smiley

FamilyRe: Pls, I Want To Know About Nigerian Marriage Life. by peacefull(op): 2:52am On Aug 30, 2022
Thank you so much for everyone who gave me advice!

I appreciate everyone!!

I confirmed about my husband is married in Nigeria.
He married in 2013. I'm still not sure.
But at least around 2013, they got married.
This woman is long time I suspected.
I was suspecting, But I tried to trust him.
I'm a really confusing person.

He has a daughter too. I still don't know how old she is. But very lovely little girl.
And they have own business, I should say they have own company? in Nigeria.

I already decided to allow everythings.
But I'm hurt. Very very hurt now.

I'm still not tell him about anything.
I wanna hear the truth from him.
I wanna know about what he wanna do, what is his plan, what about our marriage, our future, what is he thinking about or planning about his daughter etc.
I wanna ask him many many things!
So, I will talk to him.

At least we are still married.
And that woman is a his second wife.
He still not dump me. So, maybe he has his reason.
Maybe he get tired with me, maybe he fell in love with her, maybe he wanted have a kid with Nigerian woman, maybe he doesn't love me since beginning etc, etc, etc!
And I don't know why he still hiding about it from me?

At least he is still with me. Still continue to married with me.
So, he must has his reason and I wanna know.

I hope and I wish this is my misunderstanding.
But I saw pictures.

Maybe many many peoples, maybe most of peoples are their side?
Maybe support them?
Because they are Nigerian and I'm not.
Maybe very funny things to someone?
They are laughing at me?
All of his family and her family are laughing at me too?

I'm a big fool for long time.
But I'm still wanna be with him.
Maybe something wrong with me.

I know I shouldn't write about my private life, my marriage life on internet.
But I didn't write everythings.
I'm always writing only few things. Because I can't write everythings.

Anyway, Thank you so much!
I got to know the truth! I just remain talk to him.
I really really appreciate everyone!! smiley

I'm not saying it's shit miss. I'm saying it's too hard to learn. After wasting three years of my life trying to memorise about 3000 kanji, would I still get a job worth 750k? Answer's no of course. Let's be honest, it's too much work for a foreigner.

By the way, are you really Japanese? undecided
I maybe misunderstanding you. I'm sorry.

You learned Japanese language and you lived in Japan or still living in Japan?
750k? if I'm not misunderstood, this "k" meaning 1,000.
You learned Japanese because of you wanted to get work worth 750k in Japan?

Yes, I agreed, too much work for non Japanese peoples.

Yes! I wanna be honest!
So, I'm gonna very very honest with you! smiley

I'm difficult to understand.
Many things I'm difficult to understand from your writing.
Sorry, maybe because of my poor English skill.
But I really wanna understand!

Japanese peoples speaking, writing and reading Japanese language is not from yesterday or today.
Anybody who think or who wanna come to Japan never knew about that?
And at least, Japanese peoples learned Kanji during compulsory education 2,136 Kanji.
Compulsory education is total 9 years.
Elementary school is 6 years and junior high school is 3 years.
Maybe you already know about it.
So, of course if someone wanna learn Kanji need take time. Not easy.
But Japanese peoples also taking long time for learn Kanji.
Not We can read and write Kanji since we were born.

If purpose is just earn money like 750k, 750k yen? and if peoples could earn money like that in their country, why they decided to come to Japan?
Language is not easy, can't earn 750k etc, then why chose country like Japan?
Peoples never research about language, about money etc, by themselves before coming to Japan?

I know and I can understand that too much work for foreigners. Not easy.
But some foreigners don't mind about it or they know it or they already knew it before come to Japan.
Some foreigners just interesting about Japan, like Japan, wanna learn Japanese etc, then come to Japan.

Do you think you can easily living and working in another countries?
I think if peoples live and work in another country, they need to learn a lot of things.
Not only language, but also need to learn that country's peoples, their manners, laws etc.
Can't really know or can't really understand about all of things just in short times if peoples were not born and grew up in that country.

I have never lived or worked in another country.
I have never been to another country.
But I can imagine about living and working in another country is not easy to me.

Sometimes I'm annoyed about some non Japanese in Japan.
Because even here, on this website, I saw some peoples who is interesting about Japan, who like Japan, who already learning Japanese language, who really wanna study in Japan etc, yet they still can't come to Japan.
But instead of them, some non Japanese who is already in Japan did crime, insulting Japan and Japanese, complain too much, misbehaved etc, very annoyed to me.

Yes, I'm a Japanese. Nice to meet you! smiley
But why you are angry or annoyed like this? → undecided
Maybe you hate Japan or Japanese?

Hello Peacefull-San. i hope you are having a lovely weekend? Are you Japanese? I would like to ask some questions about the shinto mythology. I watch a lot of anime which got me interested in the Shinto Mythology. Do you know about any of these Kami? Amaterasu, Kagutsuchi, Tsukuyomi, Susano'o, Izanagi, Izanami etc? I know Izanagi and Izanami gave birth to Amaterasu and her brothers.

Arigato Gozaimasu.
Hello! RikudoSennin san!
Yes! Thank you so much for asking!
I appreciate you!
I hope you are also having a lovely and wonderful weekend!

Yes, I'm a Japanese.

Shinto mythology is one of very interesting about Japan.
But to be honest with you, I didn't know about it well before and not interested to me before.
But sometimes I'm reading about it on some Japanese website now.
Because this is interesting to me now!
I'm getting to know more than before little by little.

Maybe RikudoSennin san is already know about it more than me! smiley

You already know about Izanagi and Izanami and Amaterasu!
So, maybe you are also already know about Tsukuyomi and Susanoo are Amaterasu's sister and brother?

Lol... No worries @Peacefull, you're not too late in replying.

Great to hear from you again. You gave some fantastic feedback here which shows that you do have current or up-to-date knowledge.

By the way, are you in the academic profession or something close to that?

Yeah, in every country, there are few non-conformists who don't like the monarchy even in a place like
England, but the vast number do just like a large number of Japanese folks admire the mystique of
Emperor Hirohito and the Japanese monarchy.

The Japanese language indeed is an international language because it is used in diplomatic circles and international business executives and tourists have to learn and use
Japanese because Japan is a top global destination.

Okay, you're right... Google can still do translations but with a few
errors though.

Wow! You're so spot on about the Ukrainians in Japan @Peacefull.

I have just read several Japan-based online newspapers that confirmed the gift of 1000 language translation devices to Ukrainians who relocated to Japan. That is so kind of the Japanese people to take in folks from Ukraine. smiley

That translation device model given to the Ukrainians is one of those that I promised to show you in my last post to you on this thread.

So it's good you are already aware of this translation device's
functionality. They come in different models and
configurations so some models are better than others.

I'll still get back to you with more specifics from my prior research findings on multi-lingualism trends.

Have an intensely exciting weekend in Japan. wink smiley

Cheers.
Hello! AlphaTaikun san!

Thank you so much for your kind words!
I really appreciate you!!

Noooo.
I dropped out of high school.
Here in Japan, many many peoples saying other peoples like me, "low level".
So, I'm a low level person! cheesy
Very very far from academic profession or something like that.

Yes, I think most of Japanese peoples respect and love Emperor.
But few peoples don't like Emperor.
What I hate is some of them are doing anti Emperor march.
When I got to know about them and when I watched their march, I felt so bad and angry.

I really didn't know about that!
When I got to know about some Japanese words also using in English, I was very surprised!
Like Tsunami, Emoji. Wasabi, Karaoke etc.
This is very interesting to me!

Yes! We maybe read or watched same news! smiley
I think one of difficult things for non Japanese peoples live in Japan is language.
If they couldn't speak, read and write Japanese is not easy to live in here.
So, I think gift that kind of thing is good idea and good help for them.

Anyway, AlphaTaikun san, you like reading Japanese news? Is it interesting to you?

And I forgot to ask you about your family home library!
You read a lot of encyclopedia books?
That's amazing!
When I was a kid, I loved picture books, not encyclopedia books embarassed
And I still have it!

When my kid was a junior high school student, every morning that school had reading time for students.
About 15 minuts to reading book.
Students can bring their books to school they wanna read or they like to read.
But no manga, no picture book etc.
Like, novel is ok, but manga is no.
I liked that system? program? in my kid's school.
Reading book is good things!

Thank you so much!
I really appreciate you!!
And same to you! Have a wonderful weekend! smiley

mysticwarrior:
you are Very correct, some American prisoner of war died when that bomb was dropped in Hiroshima.

Back in the US during ww2 Americans of Japanese decent were rounded up and put in concentration camps, there were not allowed to speak Japanese, the treatment given to them was horrible.

There were Americans of Germans decent but they were not given the kind of ugly treatment the Japanese received, it was too bad.
Hello! mysticwarrior san!
I'm so sorry for late reply to you.

Yes, they killed their own peoples.
Not accidentally. Very sad.

Yes.... cry
Japanese Internment....
But that's not only America did it.
Brazil also treated Japanese immigrants like that. Very similar.

Really?
I didn't know about that.
Maybe because Japanese peoples are Asian and yellow race.
German peoples are not.

AlphaTaikun:
Hello again @Peaceful,

Wow! I read your latest feedback twice, and you're so full of wisdom, and understanding. smiley

I enjoyed your quick take on the Shinto, Buddhist and Humanist philosophies of the vast numbers of
Japanese people, and the belief in the karmic laws (or the spiritual laws of cause and effect).

Yeah, Emperor Hirohito was truly revered in Japan. He had that commanding presence that Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II, (both of England) had and still have in England where the British Royalty is loved by most of the citizens because of historical reasons. I grew up reading a lot of encyclopedia book volumes starting from back in the 1970s in my then family home library, so I read a lot of world history on prominent folks including Emperor Hirohito of Japan.

The Japanese language is a major international language with over 100 million speakers, so I'm really disappointed in Google for not getting the Japanese to English translation algorithm right. If you hadn't told me about this bad Google translation from English to Japanese, I too would have made translation mistakes while communicating with any Japanese friends and associates. Many folks online have also complained before today that their languages are not properly translated by Google.

Last but not least, as a well-traveled leisure and business traveler myself, I know full well that there are also portable electronic voice or language translation devices. If you speak into the portable device in English, it'll translate automatically into French! I will get back to you before the end of the week with more information on this device which will be specific for Japanese to English and/or English to Japanese translations.

Enjoy your day,

Cheers! smiley
Hello! AlphaTaikun san!
I'm so sorry for late reply to you.

Thank you so much for your kind words!
I appreciate you!!
In fact, I'm a ignorant person.
But you made me feeling like I'm a wisdom person! Yeahhhh! \(*´∇`*)/
I really appreciate your kind!!

I'm very happy to heard about you enjoyed!
Maybe some peoples think Japan or Japanese peoples are very weird or very strange cheesy

I think most of Japanese peoples including me still respect and love Emperor smiley
I thought especially elderly peoples before.
But many young peoples too!
Sadly, here have crazy peoples like anti Emperor group. Very disrespect peoples.
Peoples can like or dislike Emperor. But they don't need to disrespect Emperor family sad

Really?!
Japanese language is international language?!
Wow!! I didn't know about that!
Oh! you can use Google translate to your Japanese friends!
Most of times can understand smiley
Just little bit mistakes.
Not only Japanese to English or English to Japanese?
Maybe after few years from now will be getting more better than now! smiley

Wow!! AlphaTaikun san is traveled many many countries?

That kind of things, electronic translator Japan have it.
I have watched news about Japanese government give? rent? to Ukrain peoples who are evacuees in Japan.

Thank you so much for your kind!
I really really appreciate you!!
