Stay there and keep on writing sermons.

It is natural for people to look down on those they feel better than. It is a universal practice, it can never be enliminated. It's effects can only be reduced..
They are not looking down on you because of your abilities, it is the color of your skin they are looking at. Some of them see you as a monkey, chimpanzee, ape, that's how they see you

Reason why I made that point is because throughout history, white people have sabotaged and continued to derail every positive attempt we make at moving forward. How many of our upright and sound leaders have been assassinated just because they refused to sell out.
The fact is, the whole world does not want the black man to succeed but by God's grace (whatever God you serve) we will rise again.

Exactly what I did . Even my team leader told me I should stop talking to her for the meantime. He even invited me to join him for lunch so that we could socialize together and he could tell me what I can do to make a girl like her listen to me. I was whaoooed. Oyinbo life too simple.
Dude, focus on your race, she has just given you a tip of their deadly poison but low self esteem will not allow you to see it. By the time white girls deal with you that "oyinbo life is so simple" wen you de talk go change to another thing

This Lord Adam dude acts like he knows what he's talking about but no. The oldest civilization was in Egypt, Egyptians were blacks, the next was in Ethiopia and they were blacks too, yet even though they were both civilized white race still had no respect. They still invaded once their technologies were potent enough in terms of weaponry. Most people taken for slavery were West Africans because they capitalized on their mental weaknesses especially South Westerners, they also took people via Eastern route through Calabar but not as many as Badagry route.

For as little as 1 bottle of dry gin, Westerners were willing to give 40 humans from their tribes in exchange. Things like mirrors, sugar, salt, were all used in trading.

Same inferiority I see on this thread. Some even blaming themselves for another person's attitude towards them, others saying no race hates black, very stupid views

Women actually choose who they want to marry. Marriage is not by force. Even arranged marriages need the approval of the woman
That's why you hear a man was dumped for another man by his girlfriend.
That's own of the reasons exes are everywhere.
Men too also choose who they want to marry, but this is about yoir erroneous belief about the choices of a woman.
This's not true.

Most Nigerians (especially resident in Nigeria and never travelled out before) have ZERO idea on how a developed country run and operate, and have no capacity whatsoever to develop a country

So whether they stay or not, the country would still remain a mess.

I wish there was a form of internship in which at most 20% of Nigerians picked from the six geo political zones are sent abroad to learn what it takes to build a country, the discipline required, the self sacrifice etc and they are sent back to Nigeria

When and where was the word 'marriage' first used in the Bible?

Except I am missing something,

1. Companionship = cohabiting....

2. I do not know where marriage as a word was first used in the Bible. However, there are several instances of marriage in the Bible..... Adam and Eve; Eve's father (God) consented to the union (it was His idea), gave her to Adam (like you have in wedding ceremonies today) and blest the union. Same with Issac & Rebekah (Abraham's Chief Servant asked for Rabekah's hand from her family who in turn asked her and she accepted); Jacob and Rachel/Leah... infact, it was recorded that after the ceremony, Leah was taken to Jacob's chambers...

All through biblical history, marriage has always been inferred with feasting; even the feast with Jesus after rapture is the marriage supper of the Lamb; the relationship between Christ & the Church is that of a husband & wife.

In John 4, Jesus attended the wedding feast of a couple where He actually performed His first miracle.

Infact cohabiting without marriage (traditional, court, church/islamic) is a sin and I do not even know any culture that doesn't require a ceremony of sorts/parental consent to declare a couple married. There is no difference between cohabiting and pre-martial sex which all societies condemned.

And marriage doesn't leave a woman vulnerable? When has marriage stopped a man from doing whatever he wants? An average woman will even tell you that her husband was better/sweeter before marriage. Even a lot of men allude to it; why the campaign after election?

I would still like to know the advantages a man has in 'companionship' and that the woman has in 'marriage'.
Thought provoking but digressing from topic.Companionship =marriage in the book of Genesis or was there any formal marriage that took place? Eve was made to be a companion to Adam, she wasn't asked to consent, God approved and blessed them to dominate the earth and multiply. I think your emphasis should be on God's approval which you rightfully mentioned but skipped the part where Eve's approval wasn't mentioned but Adam's was (doesn't this show that Adam's opinion mattered more than Eve's because companionship is needed by him)

Marriage is a man made creation, did you notice that in Genesis when the first companionship was done, there was no festivity? It was an agreement between God and man.

Let me break the words down a bit - Son I see you need a companion to deal with this feeling of loneliness I perceive in you. I will make you a suitable helper to be a companion for you. I will bless you and multiply you. After his companion is made, Adam is pleased "At last! I have seen the bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh" But Eve said nothing in response.

You gave examples of marriages in the bible but do you know that even without those festivities one can become companion with another? Look at the case of the Samaritan woman who had 5 husbands. Even though she didn't have a marriage relationship with all of them but Christ referred to them as her husband because at some point she had relationships with them, he even referred to the one she was cohabiting with as her husband.

Family › Re: Was Marriage Created For Man Or Woman? by peacengine(op): 3:58pm On Jun 03, 2018
crackhaus:
First off, you must differentiate marriage from companionship.

Companionship is what God instituted in the beginning and yes that was for the benefit of the man.

Marriage however is a social construct, an invention of man - and this is for the benefit of the woman.
Genesis 2:18 " And the Lord God said it is not good for man to be alone...."

Solution: "I will make him an help meet for him"

22 "And the rib which the Lord take from man, made him a woman and brought her unto him"

This is marriage bro, it was created by God out of the need he saw in male being. You're right that there was no ceremony and fanfare like we have now but there was no consent from Eve, it was Adam who was happy about what he saw. "And Adam said this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh and she shall be called woman"

Clearly shows that woman is supposed to be a gift from God to us in companionship, with the main purpose to avoid loneliness in man. It means without man so women might not be lonely but without woman, man will be lonely therefore marriage benefits us more and was created mainly for our benefit

Don't be deceived, a woman can give birth at 90 if God wants it so
I've heard of 70 but she was already married. A 70 years old guy can still hook up with 30 years old lady without much stress but not the other way. I'm of the opinion that marriage was created for benefit man that's why we find it easier to hook up.

Just as you have choices to select from, same applies to the woman.
Even a man of 45 can still pick and chose but a woman of 45 will be lucky to find a mate. Marriage seems to favor us more
Family › Was Marriage Created For Man Or Woman? by peacengine(op): 10:26am On Jun 03, 2018
According to the book of Genesis it was created for man's benefit not woman.

"It is not good for man to be alone"

No wonder we men can pick and chose when marriage is concerned but women cannot.

why are christians so afraid of death? many christians go to church just to hear their pastor shout "you will never die this year/young"i am a muslim and i dont give a fvck about death, let it come anytime and i will embrace it willingly because its the will of God. thats why we dont do autopsy to find the cause of death, to what end since the deceased is not coming back? its a sin to keep a dead man and not bury him in time to meet with his lord. every death is the will of God. just do good, enjoy your life and wait for your time, i have never prayed not to die, infact i pray to die at the right time. thats the thinking of we muslims about death.
You must be looking forward to 70 virgins

Look for internship, werkstudent after that the rest becomes easier.
