Good afternoon house. I had my interview today. The VO at Windows 11 Lagos wasn't smiling. The first thing he did was that he collected my passport and he checked if I had Visa's on my slip. He just dropped it on his table. He quickly checked is computer for my previous application which I was denied. Base on my own assumption, I feel because I filled a no, on my DS 160 form where I was asked if I have an immediate relative, which I thought means younger brother or sister in the US who is a citizen not knowing it means a Spouse of a US citizen. Anyways I had corrected that sha. My interview goes thus.
VO: Good morning
Me: Good morning
VO: what is the address you are going to stat in the US?
Me: I told him
VO: What is the purpose of your trip
Me: I want to go visit my mum who is having some health issues.......she lives with my sister who is a citizen of the United States and she had sent me an invitation to this regard.
VO: How many days are you going to spend?
Me: 9 days and I am coming back to prepare for my final exams and NYSC.
VO: Are you married
Me :No
VO: Do you have kids?
Me: No
VO: Sorry I wont be approving your Visa gives me a blue slip.
I kept wondering what went wrong. I wasn't asked sponsorship and all the rest. It pained me sha.
Sorry bro but na you bleep up na, you have family there yet you claim not to have. Last last try again after 6 months

emeka1101:
Greater Accra region is about 67 times bigger than Lagos state so what are you talking about?
Accra was ranked as the best city in west Africa while Lagos was ranked as the worst city in Africa.
Comparing any place in nigeria to Accra is an insult to Ghana.
Bro, who ranked it? Post links here let's discourse on that

Cost of living: Housing is more affordable in Lagos, food stuffs and transportation is much more affordable

Jobs: Lagos, with a bigger population has more available man power and more multinational companies present

ICT: Lagos has the largest IT hub in West Africa

Aviation: More aviation activities in Lagos

Road Network: More interstate road networks in Lagos than Accra

More Islands in Lagos than Accra

More commercial activities in Lagos than Accra

Better communication skills amongst Lagosians than Accra, you may not easily find people that can communicate in English even in Accra

Entertainment: Full Lagos than Accra

Lagos has a bigger market for goods and services than Accra

I no ge time to de yarn with u bro, suit yasef. I'm out!

The people of Cross River are economically docile/lazy, you can hardly see 'Cross Riverian' outside his/her state, they hardly venture into anything or out of their comfort zone, most people referred to as Calabar are usually from neighboring Akwa Ibom. Oil revenue help sustain the state back then, all the wells were lost Akwa Ibom state after a Supreme Court ruling. How did I know this? Because I work on the same fields ceded to Akwa Ibom state. And that also explains the sudden economic and infrastructural growth enjoyed by Akwa Ibom.
We are not like you cowards that claim asylum after reading update on Fulani herdsmen in blogs. We love our state and don't have greed here. No need to do yahoo yahoo or rituals with human skull like you do for money. We are simple, humble people who like quiet life unlike you, going around like a wanderer destroying Nigerian image all over the globe. Guy, round up whatever you are doing there and leave our state for us

Shey Na transport i wan talk, around Ikom and Etung axis bruh na okada dem dy burn no cab no keke no bus, you can spend as high as 1k for bike on a single trip. Attimes i wonder if the governor is actually a Professor.
What of the roads in Ogoja, Boki and other areas? Dude what's wrong with using bikes in a place where roads are good and life is simple, people are contented? Ingrate, do comot for my state abeg

Compare Accra to the following states: Enugu, Imo, Akwa Ibom, Sokoto, Kaduna, Kano, Ekiti, Ibadan, Delta and the likes leave Abuja and Lagos out of it. Accra is too small to compare with Nigerian major states. Personally, I prefer all the above states to Accra

Hmmm angry
I served in Calabar, Cross River for a year.
It happens to be that all we see in the media is different from what is real in the state.
Cross River is such a dilapidated state.
There is great decay in infrastructure; high rate of cultism; inter communal land dispute killing.
Even calabar is over hyped.
Ayade is doing nothing in that state. He travels outside the country more than his stay in the state.
Akwa Ibom that was carved from Cross River is far developed than Cross River.
You served there but I'm from there, that's my home state. I was there in April for the whole month. As I read your post I'm wondering if it is the same Cross River I went to that you are describing bro.You are nothing but a bitter hater. There's massive on going road construction going on. From Enugu to Ogoja now is just 2 hrs. Good road network, easy life, friendly people, the only thing I noticed was poor light supply which an inverter and gen can solve, we were night crawling freely, by God's grace I will surely retire to my hood. You are a hater, a big one

Nowenuse:
The Europeans never recognized nor agreed to the fact that Ancient Egyptians or Abbysinians (Ethiopians) were black.
That is why they do not classify us under the same racial category with these people. I have done an extensive research on this. They claim Horn africans are of Hamitic-semitic descent just like the Arabs while ancient Egyptians were caucasian just like current day north africans... We all know this is false.. But hey they invented all these terminologies and hence did the classifications.
Agreed. I've read extensively on this topic, ancient Egyptians were indeed black, this includes all the pharaohs'. Do you realize that Jesus is depicted as a Caucasian instead of middle easterner in most of their portraits? Some depict Him with an image of blond hair and blue eyes. There are several conspiracies in this world, one major one is an attempt to make black race look like a primitive race but in actual fact we had existing empires even before the coming of technology age.

mimimile93:
Op marriage benefits women not men.

Mention one thing a man can achieved in marriage that he cannot achieved outside marriage?
Marriage is an escape door from responsibilities for women...
Bros, can you take care of a kid from five to infant 24/7, talk less of 4 or 5 of them. Suppose I want four children and I don't stay with one woman but jump from one lady to another so am I the one that will feed, change and do other stuffs for all of them? What of cooking morning afternoon and evening, when will I have chance to do this, keep my house clean and other stuffs. Which of the women will I trust enough to reveal things to?

Marriage benefits man more. The word marriage is a human creation but companionship was created by God.

Companionship to me and as God created it is like marriage but not necessarily with certificate, it's two people coming together in agreement between their families and of course the man consent.

The certificate should be called companionship certificate for legal purpose.

Same Australia he migrated to was land of the aboriginals until white British took away everything from them, today they are not even known or heard of. When you dine with devil use a long spoon, he's now a 21st century slave, good luck
