Hi Guyz! People like free things, that everyone knows, been getting emails for me to bear the burden of the first ten covers Hayden works on and I've decided to do so, FIRST 10 AUTHORS TO REQUEST FOR WORLD CLASS BOOK COVER GETS IT FREE! So how do you go about requesting for this? The first step: You order a book cover package by emailing me (mailgeorgeshadow@yahoo.com) or calling this number (07030815856). You provide the Title, Subtitle (if you have one), Author Name, Summary of the book, and Size of the book. In some cases Hayden (the artist) requests part of the manuscript. He'll listen to your ideas. Your project has begun. Approximately one week later you will be viewing at least two cover designs for your book. The second step: Either Hayden or yours truely'll contact you by e-mail and give you a URL where you can go online and look at your book cover designs. After you review the posted samples, you let me know if you like the design as is, or if you would like him to make changes. If you approve your front book cover at this stage, then all's set for the back cover and spine. If you request changes he'll work with you, in the following week, showing you adjusted covers until we have a final front cover you approve of. The third step: Once your front book cover design is approved, we ask that you provide us with copy you want on the back cover. This will include the "teaser" you want to give your target market, possibly an author picture and short bio, a bar code for the bookstores (this will require an ISBN number), and a publisher's logo if required. We take these elements and design your back cover and spine to fit beautifully with your front cover design. We then direct you back to the URL where you will review your finished cover, back cover, and spine. After you review the posted sample, you let us know if you want any changes, and your cover is finished. Your project is complete and your cover is ready for production. We now ship the files to you or your printer. THAT'S IT! FROM START TO FINISH. And a professional book cover becomes yours. This service is in line with my intention to help African authors produce better books at very very reduced costs. Check it out, THIS IS FREE FOR THE FIRST TEN REQUESTS I'LL GET, SORRY I COULDN'T MAKE IT TWENTY, STILL CONSIDERING THAT, (See pic @ https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-755138.0.html) I really believe these book covers will compete with anything in today's market! And pls don't let this opportunity to get a world class cover pass you by, Africans can do better if we can take such opportunities. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to contact me by e-mail or call my Nigerian number 07030815856. I am here to help anybody who wants it cuz I've got the means to do so, don't wait a moment longer for this, together we can take on the world of publishing great books, I assure you, You can email me on mailgeorgeshadow@yahoo.com Believe me, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! |
OK people, it's getting better! We've decided to give out ten (10) free book covers to the first ten authors who request for it! Yeah, you heard right. You get to send in a description of how you want the cover to look like, as well as all the details above, i.e. just follow th details above. I am here to help anybody who wants it cuz I've got the means to do so, don't wait a moment longer for this, together we can take on the world of publishing great books, I assure you, You can email me on mailgeorgeshadow@yahoo.com Believe me, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! |
To see a higher quality of this artwork, go to http://thebookmarketingnetwork.com/photo/bbcovernew?context=latest Really think Nairaland should fix their file uploader to take up more file sizes, |
Hi Everyone! I'm in contact with a US-based international artist working for major book publishing firms and have reached terms with him for designing book covers for African authors at very cheap rates starting from 10k. I've uploaded the cover he did for my book, which I've already published, for you to sample. Yes, I paid a hell of a lot for this ($449) but for as low as ten thousand naira (yep, you heard right!) he'll help give your cover this standard. For as low as N10,000 you get to plan out and modify a book cover design with my affiliate. Here is how it works: The first step: You order a book cover package by emailing me (mailgeorgeshadow@yahoo.com) or calling this number (07030815856). You pay for half the package up front. This can be done by paying into my Diamond Bank Accnt 0004161700. We then direct you back to the URL where you will review your finished cover, back cover, and spine. After you review the posted sample, you let us know if you want any changes, and your cover is finished. Your project is complete and your cover is ready for production. We take the final payment for your cover design and ship the files to you or your printer. THAT'S IT! FROM START TO FINISH. And a professional book cover becomes yours. This service is in line with my intention to help African authors produce better books at very very reduced costs. Check it out, N10,000.00 is just around $90.00, a small sum compared to what Hayden charged me for my own book cover, but the finished cover is really worth it! (See below pic) I really believe these book covers will compete with anything in today's market! And pls don't let this opportunity to get a world class cover pass you by, Africans can do better if we can take such opportunities. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to contact me by e-mail or call my Nigerian number 07030815856. OK, for good measure, I review manuscripts FOR FREE in order to help my fellow authors, we can equally discuss this, so it's up to you guyz!

According to Nigerian Red Cross, approx 45,000 people have fled their homes up north, this shows the rampaging youths are not just targeting PDP and their dubious leaders but anybody they feel is involved, and sadly, we know what this means for southerners living up there, they have this stupid hatred for us and I keep wondering why we're still at this Nigerian game. They hate us, period. So they kill us whenever the opportunity arises, period. Not that there are no good Northerner in Nigeria, but these ones are always so slow in condeming their fellows, not knowing that "ofu aka ruta mmanu - " |
OK, just got this email from Netty and I thought I'd paste it here to convince any one in doubt about this. iew Mon Apr 18th, 2011 4:58 PM PDT View full HTML message I was right when I said you are a wonderful man! You did a great job on my work. Thank you so very much. I agree with most of the corrections you made. Most but not all. I don't like the word - boyfriend when I am writing my novels. I'd rather use a friend or a lover. I just don't feel comfortable with it. Likewise I often run away from using the term, girlfriend. In the romance world - Harlequin, Mills and Boon - the word 'mistress' is used for the lover of an unmarried man, and that is my idea when I used mistress in the summary of my novel. People just have to get used to the term. I'd rather it stays, please. I use British English though I am writing about Americans(thus I have to maintain the realise NOT realize). Strange, isn't it, but my reason is that I want to stress the fact that I am from a country colonised by the British. I don't know if it is a taboo using British English when writing about Americans. Please find out for me, if you can. I began the novel in a deceptive way. I just felt like having something new so I began by introducing my hero and heroine through the eyes of other people. There is no SECOND lady that will vie for Miles' affection with Brooke. Amanda is special in that she will be used as my heroine in another novel, so I wanted to establish the link from this novel. By the way, Brooke is a feminine name. I guess we are not very used to it, but, if you don't mind, I'll retain the name. Yes, I, too, wondered about surfing being a man's thing. Many women are into the sport. I'd better erase that phrase. Thanks for that. Yes, I am writing like Miles is seeing her purely as a lover. He doesn't want to get emotionally involved with her. He has a REASON for that. Brooke, on the other hand, is in love with him. That is the main difference I hinted at when I said their differences eventually drove them apart. Thanks again for the corrections. I know you are awfully busy, but I just have to send you the second chapter. Please say you don't mind. Merci beaucoup! Have a great day. |
Sorry I'm always on the go. Yes I can edit your upcoming manuscript like the first one, and yes I'll accept whatever you offer like the first one. Till then, happy writing. |
OK guys, the topic says it all, Many are benefitting from this help I'm giving already. Mail your rough manuscripts to my email mailgeorgeshadow@yahoo.com and believe me, you'll be surprised by the review. Why am I doing this? I'm an editor who feels Nigeria is so blessed with writing talent and my mission is to help this set of people realize their potential, not really making a windfall in the process (, hence the free editing I now offer, ) The only way to do this is to minimize the cost of editing and review services as much as possible, in the US, this is like $0.03 PER WORD and I don't think any young African can afford this crazy sum, but the continent loses out in the publishing industry since we publish a very dismal percentage of the world's annual book consumption due to lack of well-edited books being published. So let's say this is my way of giving back to my motherland. Am I for real? You can ask Frank Anozie, whose novel THE CYBER LOVER, I just finished reviewing, or Netty Ejike, whose chapter one for STORMY AFFAIR I just finished reviewing, or Essien Equinon, whose first five chapters for UYAI, MY BROTHER AND I is currently on my desk, or Linda Kiss, whose manuscript for THE WITCH'S TORMENT I finished reviewing some months ago. Yes, I am for real. Join the many budding young authors now making use of this FREE help, because like I always tell them, in writing, it's not about getting it published the first time but getting it right before eventually publishing. See more free help for african authors on a thread I put up here some yrs back and keep coming back to this post and my online blog georgeshadow..com for the latest on new ideas I'm still working on with young writers in mind. Once again, my email is mailgeorgeshadow@yahoo.com and I'm open to all genre. Thank you and happy writing! Peaceworld |
Jude I'm thru with your manuscript. Pls check your inbox. Loved the plot, the ending especially, |
Of course I can be your editor, frank, we just nd to work out the details and since I'm so busy, it will take time, you have my number? Still in Nigeria, but we can communicate here when I leave, |
to all nysc members who lost their lives during the nass elections, a moment of silence. |
OK by FREE I mean no payments for the service rendered. Absolutely zero. 'Help' is a word we keep bastardizing. When you 'HELP' someone, you're asking for NOTHING in return. Thank you. |
Please guys, I'd be really grateful if you paste only FREE help links for African authors here, that's the post's idea in the first place, thank you for understanding, |
Hoofbeatdotcom sounds great, butt $1500 for a Nigerian package? Wow, I really wonder which average upcoming author can cough up that much, a cheap way to get quality publishing is to self publish abroad. Have done that with xlibrispublishing.co.uk for just N70k! And I do free book reviews for African authors, I think I've even done something like this for you, Larry, get your works REVIEWED FOR FREE, now that's what I call HELP and our upcoming writers really need this, follow my profile to my NL posts for more information and also read my blog in order to keep an update with my upcoming FREE ideas for helping people like you, Cheers, |
