DailyNews: That was creative peaceworld...pls can u do some editing on the first logo u uploaded? Just add some animations representating humans in a crowd, & then use a blanket to cover half of them while the NAYWP acronym tries to remove or draw out the blanket. but the hand & pen u already added should remain intact. Can u do something like that pls? give it a try.
OK DailyNews...I will try.

DailyNews: Its ok...but for sure, logo can always be changed u know? Just that we needed a representative logo for the facebook fan page cos it cannot just be empty, wouldn't look impressive to visitors of the page, so you are in order, cheers!
OK Dailynews. In my humble opinion I still think this logo does this your brainchild a big disservice. As you said, you just threw it together for the facebook page...any new would-be member looking at this right now online could surely be put off by it, trust me. You can try any of these ones I just cooked up on my system. Try to understand that a logo is not just filling space, even if it was just cooked up. A logo, even if ad-hoc, is a symbol representing any society to the world - seriously, a logo tends to give an insight into how any organisation is organised, and this does not help us in any way. Of course you can do a logo in any different way. Check out the ideas I am uploading from now on. Will be doing one logo every day for you guys to check out. And please note I'm just doing it because I want this dream of yours to work out well for everyone, not for any praise or gain. Please?

DailyNews: you can like the Nigerian Association for Young Writers & Poets (NAYWP) facebook fan page by clicking http://www.facebook.com/pages/Nigerian-Association-of-Young-Writers-Poets/370528896338554 The logo below is our new logo...let's make our dreams come true!
Can I say let's leave out choosing a logo for now until we've seen entries or something? Please? In my opinion, this logo doesn't befit such a laudable aassociation...? Please...DailyNews...don't make that mistake o! Abeg...will be over some ideas...better ideas abeg...

LiteratureRe: What Nigerian Books Are You Reading? by Peaceworld(m): 6:46am On May 27, 2012
Introducing a Novel by a Nigerian author like no other...one with HOLLYWOOD POTENTIAL...think of hollywood blockbusters like Harry Potter and you get the picture...coming into Nigeria vry vry soon...'George Shadow is a Nigerian author in a class of his own, unrivaled': Peter Morphy.
BOOK by George Shadow

A boy and his adopted sisters unwillingly go back in time with their friends and classmates after he mistakenly pens down everyone's name in an ancient book of magic and mysticism, which he found up in their attic while rummaging around…

"The kind of book you read when you're stuck at home on a rainy day. Makes one feel like a kid again!"
- Maedan

LiteratureRe: Why Was The Naija Young Writers Club Thread Closed? by Peaceworld(m): 6:25am On May 27, 2012
DailyNews: I just logged in now to check on updates of a thread I started some weeks back to unite & encourage young Nigerian writers who wish to be published but had no opportunity for one reason or the other, which has continued to witness a great success from ambitious/determined young talents, and to my greatest surprise now, the thread has been closed & locked by the moderators or Nairaland administration. Pls I am not the owner of this site and neither am I a moderator, but I would love to know at least the reason why this great movement was interrupted by closing the successful thread? Pls kindly give me a reason; if I did defaulted in any way, let me & others know so that I and the others can learn & change. Thank u pls, but do try & give a reason for closing the thread. Thanks & stay blessed.
It's very funny how people easily get jealous abt one's success and move to arrest it if in authority, Dailynews. Mayb NL moderators think you're a scammer? But dont worry abt this...drop a facebook group link here n move on to facebook group, a more refreshing n enlightening forum is abt to be born due to this.
