Hausa Version of the NETISM SERIES - (Week 1 - Sati Na Daya).

(Welcome to this week's edition of the NETISM Series.)

Wa to tsare tsaren tarbiyar da yara ta yanar Gizo.
(Today, for a start, here's a brief intro about the NETISM Project.)

Ku duba bayan takadan nan, Ga baba, Ga mama, da kuma yaro, an kokantar da su da sifan ROBOT. Abubuwar da yaran zamanin nan suna yi suna da ban mamaki.
(Take a look at the cover of this book, the kids of the digital era are illustrated as robots in the reflection of humans: they are extraordinarily smart.)

Kuma haka yaran zamani nan Suna nimar tarbiya ba na boko ko na adini kawai ba ama harda na yanar Gizo.
(Consequently, it takes a tech-savvy style of parenting to properly nurture them to survive in a dynamic digital landscape.)

(As a nurturer (that is, as a parent or as a guardian), if by today you fail to prepare something for the future of your kids or wards, whenever the time comes, anything could be prepared for them.)

Domin Inda ka tarbiya da yaro, yau haka yaran zai zama gobe...

(reason being that, most times, the resultant lifestyle and the digital footprint of every youth can be traceable to his or her childhood or teenage experiences - coupled with other environmental factors.)

Go to MFM prayer city and lodge there for one or more months, join their regular deliverance programs, then pray and ask God to anoint you, once the power of God comes up you, use the money and open your own church and use the power God has given you to solve problems of your members and I can assure you that by the following year you'll get back that money plus a hundred fold interest.
This I have seen.

This is one of the problems we are having in the world today, many purported men of God called themselves into the Ministry rather than being called by God... so that end up struggling in the Ministry rather than doing the great commission - to preach the gospel, do exploits for Christ and also shine the light to the world...

"KEKE WORK BETTER PASS TEACHING WORK BY FAR..."

It is time for us to change this narrative in Nigeria, reason being that, education is the pathway to the sustainable development of any nation yearning for all-around advancement.

It's quite monstrous to note the fact that education is gradually loosing its value in Nigeria, we need to revitalize it by all possible means...

However, there's a place for handworks (apprenticeship) and there's a place for educational-based jobs... But things are gradually turning off beat, many graduates can even find a placement to work in their respective fields of study...

SportsSimplified Chess For Children & the moral lessons (picture) by PediakAuthor(op):
After deploying this practical teaching method, those children were able to play the Chess game as opponents after 4 hours of intensive practical training...

Along the line, the "L" concept of the Knights' moves often appeared to be the hardest to understand, however, they later got it right after several real-life practical instances were deployed as teaching methods...

The moral lessons;
In the past, several research results have clearly shown that Chess is one of the most technical indoor games.

Hey! Kids learn Chess faster than adults, perhaps, because they have little or no worry at such early phase of growth...

Have you ever wondered why most adults couldn't learn how to play Chess? It's because they often find it hard and cumbersome to master the principles of the pieces' moves and their distinct roles.

However, another research result have clearly shown that kids have the intellectual capacity to become great Chess players, not only that, they can easily master the crafts of all the pieces. Peradventure, such kids could grow up with the tactics of "Chess in mind", they could always apply its principles in solving real life situations, most especially, thinking about the pros & cons (opportunities & risks) before taking any step in life, while also having the consciousness that their today's decisions would unavoidably affect their futuristic lifestyles and the outcome of their destinies.

To the 5 types of Nurturers (as stipulated in the NETISM theory), most especially the biological parents, you should always have the consciousness that, in this era, the endless "screen-times" at the disposal of your family are often depriving your subjects of the knowledge of viable indoor and outdoor games - such as football games, hide & seek games, Chess, basketball, drafts, scrabble, and etc. Research results have clearly shown that, whenever kids are at home after school hours, they would rather get their eyes glued on different screens rather than engaging in physical activities or exercises.

Sequel to this fact, you have the obligation to be proactive, most especially in the course of creating a responsible digital culture that suits the uniqueness of your home, have more parent-child physical interactions (guard against technoference), and lastly, you have the obligation to regulate the screen access of your kids/wards by putting necessary rules/policies in place for the usage of different digital gadgets.

In summary, it is quite detrimental for a home to have unlimited "screen-time", such digital obsession could affect the healthy-living (obesity) of the kids in question, digital addictions could also lead to academic difficulties of thethe victims (perhaps that's the major reason why the Nigerian Covenant University currently have an effective screen-time policy in place for her students), and sometimes, different degrees of depression could also arise due to the addictive usage of some digital devices.

To cut the long story short, technology is powerful, much more every digital technology at the disposal of humans is more powerful (reason being that it comes with 2-sides; the endless opportunities and the infinitesimal risks attached), remember, power without control might be detrimental on the long run.

In summary, in this era, parents/guardians should not allow "screen-times" to affect the physical activities of their subjects.

Even the under 17 world cup we dominated are they not over age players? If na music yes. Giant of Africa my foot. We and England no difference always hyping
Bros calm down, even within the scope of African footballers, Nigeria has more players in reputable foreign clubs... that's why I said giant of Africa in other ramifications... not to even start talking about our untapped natural resources and mineral resources, and even our human resource capacities (intellectualists, despite the brain drain factors), or should we start talking about the Nigerian GDP? If not the first, it should be the 2nd in Africa. However, I fully understand that the well-being of a nation is measure by per capita income and not GDP, that's the only disadvantage of the massive passive population in Nigeria (most especially when they don't contribute to IGR or GDP).
All these epistles are the justification for my phrase "African giant in other ramifications", so forget about the few medals we have here bro...
Nigeria still remains our country despite the ups and downs...
TravelRe: The Bad Behaviour Of Some Nigerians Abroad by PediakAuthor: 10:45am On Aug 09, 2021
You are on point... I've always thought about the international misperceptions about Nigerians, the global community need to understand that Nigerian youths are resilient, hard-working, skillful, intelligent, and godly, only a pinch of stain on our white garment is just giving us a bad name. Men, we need to change the narratives asap because these ugly reputations also hinder FDI - foreign direct investments in Nigeria among other issues.

However, this part got me lmao...
"done a very good job in giving us a bad name..."

Lol... tho it's not funny at all...

Nigeria!!!!!!! Always at the bottom of the list for heroic deeds.
Bro, that doesn't change the fact that Nigeria is still the African giant in several other ramifications, I strongly believe that we can do better in the future, not only that, undoubtedly, Nigeria is endowed with the human resource capacities (sporting talents) needed to win more medals.

We only need to restrategize on how to hunt for viable talents that would represent us at the global scenery in subsequent competitions.

In summary, this result is sending us a strong signal that we need to upgrade our sporting sector to the global standard of best practices; a type of standard that could face the realities of this present era...

SportsThe Soccer G.O.A.Ts: Messi & Ronaldo in view by PediakAuthor(op):
Sequel to Messi's exit from Barcelona, I've been seeing a lot of comments online, people are trying to figure out the real GOAT between Messi & Ronaldo. To me, they are both great players in their own unique ways.

However, I think it's time to know the most versatile player between the two, reason being that, Ronaldo succeeded when he played for a Portuguese club, he also performed excellently at Manchester United, he did extraordinary exploits at Real Madrid, and now, he is currently doing wonders at Juventus 'cos he is still in the mode and mood of breaking records.

However, Messi is like a demi-god when it comes to soccer-play with respect to his outstanding performances and track records while at Barcelona, and he will always be respected for his great exploits...

Here's a relative case study, to rate the academic performance of any student, he or she MUST pass through different departments and also undertake several courses. At this moment, this is the right time for Messi to prove himself as the real GOAT as he proceeds to a new department and about to take a new course (just like Ronaldo has been doing), reason being that every country has its own unique soccer-play tactics.

Come to think of this, English League, Spanish League, Portuguese League, Italian League, French League, German League, and others are all competitive football leagues; if a player could succeed in 2 or 3 or more of those leagues, he should be crowned the Soccer G.O.A.T.!!! As we all know, "diversity is the spice of life."

I love Messi and I also love Ronaldo, and I'm not writing all these epistles to know the better player between the two, I am only concerned about Messi's performance in his new club...
Sentiments apart!!! I love good football 'cos I seldom play too...

It's quite emotional to see Messi cry during his last press conference at Barcelona...

I wish him well in his subsequent endeavors in the soccer planet...
