grin I remember pondering on this question and my Answer is ...

1) Powerful in terms of damage to enemies, then, it is the The Queen.

2) Powerful in terms of loss and defeat, then it's the King! grin

This looks like a checkmate, mate! cheesy
That's the end of the game since you've already seen it as a Checkmate. Cheers...

However, NO ANSWER IS RIGHT, AND NO ANSWER IS WRONG; your answer ONLY says a lot about your personalities...

I'd wanted to check something, which I've seen!! & I think I'm okay now!!

EducationThe Pros And Cons Of Digitalization: An Outreach By Netism.org by PediakAuthor(op):
Yesterday, the NETISM Author had a conversation with some pupils about the viability of ICT for humanity.

Earlier today, he further sensitized some Junior Secondary School Students (more than 400 attendees) about the pros and cons of digitilization - for about 45 minutes.

The logo of the NETISM project says it all (that is; the blue and the red concept); despite the endless opportunities in the digital world, we must guard against the infinitesimal risks attached.

To cut the long story short, the speaker's attention was focused on how the students could maximize ICT & other digital technologies at their disposal for the creation of national wealth, career development, creation of solutions for societal needs, and the list goes on.

Towards the end of the lecture, I used my harmonica to explain the concept of ecological exposures (online & offline influences) to them, along the line, they requested that I should play the Nigerian National Anthem, which I did... It was quite entertaining!

Dtruthspeaker:
I notice things then I learnt to play chess, then I noticed every action in this world is always a part of a greater move and moves being played.

And one day when I re-evaluated a game I had just finished playing I saw that the game was connected to the Moves God made in Egypt. I interpreted each Move with chess pieces and I understood that indeed God is The Unbeatable Chess Player.

And that you want Him Playing For You and not Against you as Pharoah, Saul, Solomon, the people of Israel etc did.

And so I see everything in this world in chess pieces or the game itself, even this discussion.

Your Move! grin
Exactly!!! That's the point...
You got the point right... your last paragraph says it all;
"And so I see everything in this world in chess pieces or the game itself, even this discussion."

I clearly understand that Chess explains everything about humanity.
It's good to know that you are a Chess player, a great one for that matter... so here's my Move...

Few weeks ago, I went for an interview, along the line, I told the interviewer that I have a little knowledge about Chess, then he asked me just a single & simple question, which I would like to ask you also... and here's it;
"In Chess; who's the most powerful?
The King or the Queen?
If King, why? If Queen, why?

Your move grin

Why are you people like this? You presented your own personal notion FIRST, but now that I have responded with mine, you now raise "personal notion".

Is a discussion not commenced by personal notions, exactly as you started?
Okay! Fine... If I may ask!
With respect to your view, what's your source of inspiration with respect to that notion?
Is it your original perspective or you sourced it somewhere else?
I authored my notion, what's the source of yours before we proceed?

That should be your personal notion, every man with his distinct perspective...
Christianity EtcThe Partisan Roles Of The Bishop And The Knight - A Quote By Jawolusy by PediakAuthor(op):
"In the game of Chess and in Real Life scenario; both the Bishop and the Knight are fighters. The difference is that; the Bishop fights with Prayers, the later, with Chariots..." Along the diagonal paths, Bishop travels farther than the tricky Knight, meaning, the impact of prayer goes a long way than physical strength. Hence, the justification of King David's lyrics in Psalm 20:7; "Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God."

PoliticsRe: Fani-Kayode May Emerge As APC Spokesperson, Four Days After Defection by PediakAuthor:
In some developing states, the masses/electorates need to know that politics is like a game... you need more friends than foes, because an associate can turn otherwise tomorrow... Along the line, political machiavellism is another power-play strategy on its own. Theoretically, any iota of political instability is a reflection of underdevelopment in the social/national structure of the State in question. Have you ever thought of this; developed nations (1st world countries) enjoy political stability than the developing ones (3rd world countries).

The moral lesson here is that the masses should desist from being used as vices for political fanaticism during post-election periods. In the context of a State as such, "All politicians are friends, why should the masses/electorates alienate themselves?" The Nigerian NOA should localize a strategy on how to educate the mixed citizens/electorates about this.

Along the line, in saner climes, associating with a political party is always founded on the ideals of a superior belief system; that is, ideological approach to socio-economic development and philosophical method of governance for national sustainability, and that's why it's always difficult for an individual to wake up one morning and defect to another political party in such a state because it's like a religion...
It clearly shows that we have a long way to go in our governance systems and political endeavors in Africa.

Political stability is the pathway to actualize the long-awaited sustainable development in any state as I've always wrote...

TravelThis Is Ado-ekiti, Share Other Tourist Sites In Your Locality by PediakAuthor(op):
I came across this picture online, although deja vu. Afterwards, I've decided to create a thread for other sites for tourism in Nigeria...
To mention a few, aside the popular Ikogosi warm spring resorts, there are other tourist sites in Ekiti State, not to talk of the Arinta waterfall at Ipole-Iloro... and many others...

The fact is just that every state in Nigeria is endowed with several resources for tourism; such that could be maximized for IGR and job creations. It's time we start looking inwards to solve the wailing issues of unemployment in Nigeria.

Keep sharing more tourist sites in your locality, let's promote our natural resources, perhaps, that might be the next point for potential investments...

PoliticsRe: Lai Mohammed: Nigeria's Image Problem Caused By Media by PediakAuthor:
BeeBeeOoh:
https://gazettengr.com/nigerias-image-problem-caused-by-media-lai-mohammed/
Hmmmm....
Jawolusy once wrote a quote relative to this... that is, the ethos of a patriotic citizen.

Here's the blunt truth, not liking a politician does not mean you should hate your country... even if we all know that things are going ugly, it's better to find proactive solutions rather than complicating issues.
Let's learn from HISTORY... because sometimes, the past dictates the future stakes.
By the matter of fact, some countries (the purported saner climes) were once worse than Nigeria in terms of governance and other developmental capacities, today, they've gotten it right...
Let's recreate their pathway to success in Nigeria... that's one of the theories of solutionism as postulated in my The New Ekiti Dream Book.
However, don't get it twisted, it's always politics vs governance...
I ain't a politician nor in any affiliation to a political party, but I'm an advocate of good governance... in the true spirit of nationalism, you can see more of that in the #NewEkitiDream BOOK...
To mention a few, as a practical example, international misperception about a country could affect the facilitation of FDI (foreign direct investments), thereby leading to more unemployment issues in such a state.
Lastly, with respect to one of the theories of NETISM, there are two sides of every digital evolution (The good side and the ugly side), and the digital media is not left-out of the scenery. Sequel to this fact, as nation-builders, our goal must be channelled towards the maximization of the endless opportunities of every digital technology (new media) at our disposal for the creaction of our national values, amongst others.

God bless y'all readers... grin
Cheers...

This is not a good reputation for our national well-being.
Foreign investors might afterwards be skeptical about fostering FDI in Nigeria thereby leading to more unemployment-related issues.
The international misperception about Nigeria and Nigerians is another point of concern. In 2019, I wrote about all these in the NETISM theory, and if proactive care is not taken today, the future stakes might be full of uncertainty.

It sucks...

Car TalkRe: Black Smoke From Exhaust. by PediakAuthor:
Many things can contribute to this issue...
- The viscosity of your engine oil matters alot; check if it's watery, light, or due for a change...
- Check the conditions of the piston rings...
- Also, after putting those two in place, then change your spark plugs...
- You can also change the oil filter...
- Also, (if your car is jacking once in a while...) depending on the injection system of your car, then you can service the nozzles or change them all... sometimes, dirt or foreign materials in fuel can block the nozzle outlets, thereby affecting the firing systems of the engine...

My car smokes black only when accelerating but stops afterwards.

It burns oil too. However, everything else is fine. It fires well.

Any remedy? Can anything be done?
